Got out of my car to look around the lot at the new vehicles. Not one person came out to see if I needed anything. So I proceed into the showroom looking at the few new vehicles inside for at least 15 minutes. Again not one person approached me. But plenty of people scattered behind desks just watching me and they appeared half asleep. So I went back out and looked at the cars again. Thought I'd give them a 2nd chance to sell me a car. Nobody. Nada, zilch! So got back in my car and left. Not to return to A1. They lost a sale. I will be heading elsewhere searching for a dealership with actual customer service! I don't often write reviews but my experience with Sam and Like New Auto Sales warrants it. I would strongly recommend Like New Auto Sales to anyone looking to buy a used car. Working with Sam has been fantastic both around my initial purchase and an unexpected follow-up. I've purchased several used cars in the past - typically just off of a lease - and working with Sam has easily been the best experience I've had. Read on if you want the full story! My initial purchase: Had a vehicle in mind that was listed online, but had sold the night before. Described to Sam what I was looking for and he gave me some other options that he had on the lot. Answered any questions that I had and largely let me look around. One vehicle was a recent acquisition for him and he noted some repairs that would be made before being sold. Sam never once pushed me or pressured me to buy anything - a very different experience than I've ever had. He provided lots of good information and some recommendations based on what I was looking for. Ultimately I found a truck that I liked, test drove it and moved on to purchasing it. Sam looked at financing options for me but was very candid that I would likely be able to get a better interest rate through my own bank - again reinforcing that he wants to do what is best for his customers. I ended up securing financing through another source and we set a sales date a few days later - a note to all: put a deposit down if you want the vehicle! When I came back to pickup the truck Sam had run through a final check with his mechanic and replaced a few items that they felt needed to be done - not something I had requested - we're noticing a trend here about taking care of the customer. Given the age of the vehicle it was purchased "As-Is" which wasn't a concern given the condition of the truck. Unexpected Follow-up: Drove it home and 2 days later it won't start! Got it towed to a repair shop down the street (I'm about 15 miles from Like New so it wasn't the immediate thought). Local repair shop tells me it's the starter but because of the vehicle and where the starter is its going to be nearly $500 in parts and $1,000 in labor. I'm not even remotely savvy about cars and trucks but this seems insane to me. I call Sam and explain what happened, what the repair shop told me and ask for his recommendation. He is clearly aghast at the estimate they've given me and says if I can get the truck up to his shop he will take care of it. I was able to get it towed through my car insurance's roadside assistance program but if not I feel like Sam would have personally come down and tapped the starter with a hammer to get it going if nothing else was an option. He replaced the starter quickly and at his expense.

Darius was very knowledgeable and didn't do that car salesman pressure thing I hate... Darius is the GOAT salesperson... alongside Darius was Barbara the GOAT finance person. Idk how she got me approved for financing, but she worked that magic that I heard people talking about! Then my niece came and test drove a car with Darius and now She has a VW too! They are horrible! I brought my car in for a repair that another shop ultimately messed up doing…read morewhich was replacing a coil, while replacing it they broke my coil ignition plug. My car was throwing all these random misfiring codes. So I had Volkswagen, diagnose my car. For them to MIS - DIAGNOSE my car! They said I need 4 new fuel injectors, $1,500 for parts & almost "$2,000 for labor". They deemed my car UNSAFE to drive; not stating that they swapped around my coils during the 2 hours diagnosis period. I still took my car, parked it until I was able to safely drive & brought my vehicle to a my father which of whom owns a shop & scanner. He scanned the car, swapped all new spark plugs, all new coils (2 of which were broken! Coil 1 & Coil 3), Volkswagen knows because they changed the only 1 new coil (Coil 2) with (Coil 4), we did a fuel system cleaner (which ED stated that wouldn't help my car), I do my oil changes like I should & have them documented. They cleared the codes on my car & it went from Limp mode to running beautifully. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE ESPECIALLY ED, he's who answers for service almost 75% of the time. I disclosed to them when I was paying & picking my car up that they are only doing this to me because I am a minority woman! I left out paying $600 for a coil ignition plug & TERRIBLE DIAGNOSIS! If I was a man I highly doubt they would have quoted them $3500 for a job that would have NEVER fixed my car. A $300 job with parts & labor was the correct diagnosis. I personally recorded & left a voicemail for the Store Manager LAST WEEK ON September 8, 2025 @ 9:23AM! He still has yet to contact me back after almost a week!! How professional??? I guess they only service best the people of their own kind & people like myself, minorities are being ripped off and robbed by these people only a town away from diversity. This is the ultimate STEALER SHIP. I will be filing a DMV Compliance Complaint for being robbed. If only other customers reported their interactions with this Stealership!! Stay Away from these people! Their warranties are horrible and they will rape your pockets! Bring your car to a smaller CERTIFIED mechanic if you need & want dignified service. I will post receipts if need be! Again they Misdiagnosed my car to try to get me to pay $3500 for a repair that would have NOT fixed my car & Volkswagen knew that!!! I had to go in & pick my car up! The car overheated and needed a new coil and had to be towed and most recently the rear tail light went out and when going to replace it , it's covered in electrical tape and clearly there had been a problem with after market parts. When I called in March about the problems with the car I was told it was my fault for buying an older car and was taunted for having a co-signer. I would NEVER recommend this business or the people who run it. They taped together issues and hid problems to sell the car and told me to file a complaint instead of helping me with the vehicle. I would never ever do business here again and would strongly discourage anyone from doing business here.

I have to admit I was nervous about buying a car on-line and having it shipped from one state to another. But the listing was detailed, had photographs, and a link to CarFax. I contacted them, and after several emails, text messages, and a few phone calls over the course of several days, we agreed on the sale. Since I'd had never done this before, they walked me through the entire process, what to expect, and outlined and tagged what I sign, what I keep and what I send back. They offered to help secure a transport company, but were honest and suggested I may want to check around. My Jaguar arrived yesterday, more beautiful and pristine than expected! I can't speak highly enough about Sunan and Bob answering questions, taking additional photographs and just answering random questions and texts. Again, thank you gentleman!
