For 3 weeks I was getting the runaround from a local dealership about repairing my son's key fob…read more After 2 appointments, I was told twice by the dealership that it would cost me $179 for a diagnostic and an additional $500 just to get the electrician to "take a look". Neither ever happened and gladly didn't spend any money. I then took the car to JB FULL SERVICE AUTO REPAIR FAYETTEVILLE one morning, after New Year's Day, at 8:30 without an appointment. Natalia was able to help me right away and within 4 hours received a new key fob programmed to the vehicle and I spent less than the dealership quoted me. Quick, honest and great quality customer service! JB will definitely be my new local auto service and repair go- to from now on! Highly recommend them! Thank you so much!

I visited on Friday, January 21, 2022…read more I ran off the road a little bit I completely destroyed my tire and bent the rim of my FR wheel. For reasons, this is the 3rd tire I've had on this wheel. So, when it blew and I was unable to remove the tire, I knew exactly why: during the last 2 tire changes, the outside of my lugs were lightly stripped and the tool I had didn't cover the entire lug so it just slipped off. My car doesn't come with a spare. So, flats are a bit of a doosey. Either remove the wheel, have it repaired, or tow. Well, since I was unable to remove it, I choose to find a nearby rim shop I could drive to. On the way, I saw this place and pulled in. Terrible idea. Here was my request: (I explained what happened, my dilemma, and what solution I'd come up with.) I need to have this entire wheel removed, placed in the trunk of the car following me, and reinstalled when I return. Very simple. First, the inside was dark and drab. I couldn't imagine how the mechanics could work in such darkness. Second, there were only a few cars inside, none of which appeared to be produced after the year 2005. None of them seemed to run because they had no engine whatsoever. I don't even know what the mechanic was doing when he come from under it. ‍ Third, the mechanics seemed to have no autonomy, needing permission from someone else to tell me IF they could help me or not. Fourth, the tech tried to upswell me on new lugs, when I refused, he became very upset and argumentative , asking for my keys. He didn't ask for my keys to take my wheel off, when did he need them to put it back on. He thought he was about to refuse to return my key until I paid for new lugs. Not! I went H.A.M. until he left the room. A few minutes later, my tire was on, old lug nuts and all. I paid for my service and left. I won't go back. Not even for air in my tire. No one else should either.

I am grateful for businesses like Griffin's Automotive. It's rare these days to find honesty and…read moreexcellent service in the same location. You will get both of these qualities here. My mother and I took her 2007 Chrysler 300 to Griffin's. I was concerned about her car stopping on us, but I followed Roy's mechanical advice. And thank God the car made it safely without failure! We knew then that these guys were good. We were serviced immediately. I so appreciate that, for most places, you best to be ready for a long, long wait. They continuously updated us with their findings. After thorough testing, the car is fine. They did, however, discover a few other minor problems that we weren't aware of. Furthermore, they saved us the expense of having to get the sunroof repaired by removing leaves from underneath the hood, which caused a blockage. Please take note of what I'm saying here: when you take your car to Griffin's, it's in good hands. I particularly want to point out that I'm a female. It's notoriously known that females are often ripped off by mechanics. This didn't happen to us. They could've easily lied to us about the car by saying we need an alternator when we don't. However, they didn't. In fact, they didn't even charge us for the inspection and leaves removal. This is Christianity at its best! Considering we live in a busy society, I must point out that Roy was kind enough to take time and answer all of our questions. Thanks to his and Stephen's evaluation and honesty, I'm now comfortable driving this car again. So, for anyone who needs some automotive work done, this is definitely a commendable business worth stopping by.
