My 2016 Toyota RAV4 was bumped into in a parking garage. There was a small dent in the rear bumper on the driver side. Like any auto-repair shop, there are good experiences and bad ones. Whatever I write in this review please note that this was my own personal experience. I drive a Hyundai and had gotten into an accident on the driver's side a while ago. Given that I had BSD(Blind Spot Detection) on both sides of my car, I was curious to know how they would fix it. After agreeing on a price, my car was taken by Savi and his team for about 2 weeks time. Normally this would be acceptable if the car was fully fixed, but instead, they not only messed up the BSD on the front side driver's door, they did such a poor job that they had the BSD system turned on all the time! The light signaling that a car was next to me was on entirely.... I now have my car at a Hyundai dealership where even master techs there are confused as to how/who did such a poor job that my battery now had to be replaced 3 times since the "repair". While reviews like this are rare to come by, please make sure that if you are agreeing to a set price and services, they are properly executed. read more

Earlier this year I had some damage done to one of my cars - the whole tail light and corner was smashed in, part of the trunk and side panels were dented in as well. I had previously brought my Suburban to Savi almost 10 years ago and was so impressed with the work (someone hit it while it was parked and damaged the entire rear + sensor) that I came back to bring my other car in. As expected, I had the best experience. Savi did a thorough check of the damage and explained to me clearly what options I had based on how they could conduct the repair. At the same time, a friend highly recommended another body shop, so, to do my due diligence, I got a quote from the other place as well. The other shop gave me a lower quote, but my intuition (based on all of my interactions with Savi) heavily weighed to going back to Auto Collision Experts and I DON'T REGRET IT ONE BIT. First of all, you can't even tell that there was any damage whatsoever. The repair itself was done immaculately, but the real gem lies with Savi himself. As a person with no real knowledge about cars and body work (and also there's that old stigma of being a woman getting taken for a loop at any vehicular establishment), I know that I can go to Savi and he's going to tell me straight up, with no ambiguity, what the problems are and what the costs are going to be. I don't wonder if he's giving me a higher price than a man who might bring in a car with a similar issue. So for those of you who might be concerned with finding a place because of this -- I challenge you to get an estimate from Savi and see if you don't just immediately trust the guy! Second, and to be frank, there was zero bullshit. I was in and out and everything was to the point, no beating around the bush. The customer service was excellent, but there was no superfluous chatting, no trying to drum up additional business or anything of the sort. Additionally, I had inquired about a dent in my other car, and showed Savi a photo on my phone since I had to uber there to pick up my car. He gave me a verbal quote, and when I was ready to bring car #3 in, a couple months later, he honored the quote - which, even with my limited knowledge, I knew was really a low number and he probably took an L doing that repair for me once he saw it in person (they had to fix the tiny dent and repaint the entire hood). He never once was snarky about it nor did he remind me about what a good deal he gave me. He honored it, no questions asked and again, it's like there was never any damage. The repair was completed in just a few days and he even apologized that the car wasn't washed (WHAT??) because someone was out sick, and told me I could bring it back to be cleaned. That is the kind of service you just don't see anymore, folks! Hopefully I won't have any further reasons to need body work done, but if I do, I'll always come back to Savi as the work is perfection, he clearly has integrity and is an all around honest guy. Both the times the job done was amazing and the finish was awesome. The recent job was a small one but even that was finished perfectly. Even though it was not covered by insurance, i still didn't ask for an estimate because i knew that whatever he is going to charge, that will be reasonable and he charged me the most reasonable amount. He is always pleasant to work with and very honest with his estimates and always does great work. He walked me through the whole process of what they would do and was very transparent about why everything would cost what it did. In the end, I trusted him the most to take the best care of my car. My car was in the shop for two days, and by the end of it my bumper looked completely new and matched the color of the rest of my car. They also dropped me off at my house and dropped my car off at my house so I didn't need to find transportation to and from the shop. The repair estimate that I obtained via submitting photos via the Auto Collision Experts website involved a bit of miscommunication. In the first place, it took almost a week to get the estimate. Other shops did much better. More significantly, the estimate was surprisingly low compared to those other estimates. When I read the estimate, I found that it did not include the parts cost for the most expensive piece. Competing estimates assumed that right-rear quarter panel would be replaced not repaired. I attempted to point this out in an email message with what I thought was a little gentle humor about their attempt to be low bidder. I was expecting a corrected estimate. Rather, the rather cryptic message that I got in reply included: "The estimate will be readjusted if the damage is more when we inspect it in person." It took first cut at this review and a phone call from Savi to straighten out my understanding of the estimate. Considering the delay and that we both missed opportunities for proper communication, I have adjusted the rating stars to what I feel is more appropriate. I may have more to add to the story after my vehicle repairs are complete. read more
