She called me first thing Monday morning via 3-way call with someone from Ford to get the information. I went back after work, signed some papers and walked out with a check 30 mins later. I considered Carvana, but Thiscar came in a few hundred dollars more than Carvana. It also helped that the location is 5 mins from my front door.

I made the mistake of listening. My $21550 price out the door turned into almost $28,000. This included a crazy expensive extended warranty and $580 for an extra key?? They told me the car only came with one. Then somehow another one appeared but it will cost extra! Typical used car games. I made the mistake of signing. But went back the next day and called it all off. Thankfully they agreed and honored my original deal. Now for the condition of the car. I asked about their inspection and basic maintenance. They told me they always do a very thorough inspection. The car was pretty dirty when they showed it to me. Asked them to clean it, including engine bay. At pick up it looked decent. Engine bay still Covered with leaves and dust. One might think the detailer might have hit it with compressed air at minimum. Maybe I am too picky?! But this is what else I found: Stopped at Autozone and had battery tested. It failed. Was four years old. Bought new battery. Tires were over inflated by 10psi and mostly worn out except for one. New tires on order. Engine air filter K&N but completely black and clogged with dust. Again easy fix but they did not bother. Cabin air filter had so many leaves in it, it looked like a bird best. Also easy fix. Nope, ThisCar failed here again. Spark plugs were fried. Totally black and burned up. Obviously not even looked at. They said they did an oil change. At that point I did not trust them. Assumed cheapest oil and filter if done at all. Had it done with Mobile One. The lot has lots of shiny cars. Sales people are nice enough. But their detailers and basic maintenance people do not know what they are doing, don't care, or are told to do the absolute minimum. "Just make it look good. " Would I look here again? Maybe. Recommend show up with your own financing and warranty. Bring a mechanic to go over the basics. Or be ready to do all the basics yourself, because ThisCar does not. A bit disappointed. But what can you expect from a used car dealer. They might have the potential to do better. But it takes a bit more effort. I think you would be better off buying from a private party. Just takes more looking around.

8/14/25: I purchased a car from this dealership on May 24th,…read morepaying $8,700 in cash. Despite this, I didn't receive my tags, plates, or title until months later. When I called in June to inquire, I was met with rudeness and was told I had until July 23rd, but that date came and went with no resolution. I couldn't drive my car for weeks due to expired tags, and when I finally could, the battery--only a year old--was dead, costing me $132 to replace. AutoZone couldn't offer a free replacement. The dealership promised compensation but has yet to follow through. Overall, a very disappointing experience. UPDATE 8/27/25: Weeks later and still no compensation for all the trouble. No check or anything was ever sent. I genuinely tried to give this place a chance to redeem themselves, but again -- just more lies like always just to keep me quiet for a while. Within six months of ownership, I had to replace the brakes, battery, address electrical issues, and now a rear axle failure. These are major mechanical components, not routine wear items, and the car was driven responsibly. When I reached out to request a reasonable cost sharing discussion, the dealership immediately shut down any conversation, hid behind the "as is" language, and refused any goodwill assistance. Their final response stated they would not engage further, leaving no path to resolve the issue professionally. What's most frustrating is not that the car needed repairs, but the complete lack of accountability or willingness to stand behind what was represented at sale. Once the transaction was complete, customer service disappeared entirely.
