made an appointment a week in advance for simple oil change, tire rotation and alignment, dropped the vehicle off the night before the appointment and put keys in their drop box. The next day checked in at noon to see when car would be ready. Was told they had not got to it yet but it was next to go in the shop. Called at 4:30 and was told a car was disabled on the alignment machine and they were unable to do the alignment and wanted to keep the vehicle over night. Fine I understand things happen. I asked if they had completed oil change and tire rotation, no they hadn't gotten to that. They had the car all day with an appointment and couldn't even manage a simple oil change and expected to keep the car another day. repeat customer, absolutely terrible service do not recommend. Also only one car in the 6 service bays, so not like they were overwhelmed. read more

We took our truck in because a tire was not holding pressure. Supposedly they took the tire off and found it had a leaky valve stem which they said they fixed. We were traveling and left town the next day. The tire still lost pressure and we had to find another place to fix the problem in Ohio, after 2 more stops for air. They did say we had a bad tie rod and replaced that for $200 OVER the quoted estimate. read more

my car wouldn't start so i had to towed to this place. i call in tell them im bringing it in, they say that's fine ( never disclosed if they even LOOKED at it it would be a labor fee) so they call me tell me theres a million throngs wrong with it including a oil leak ( it's the dead of winter) if there was a oil leak it old be all over my garage and in the snow in my driveway so clearly a lie to get money out of you. went to pick it up & they said A HALF HOUR OF LABOR IS $95!!!! i said im not paying that (they didn't even touch the car just looked at it) my in law go it waived for me but this place actually sucks and they don't disclose things up front. go to sals down the road not this place read more

This is one of the worst businesses I've ever come across. They told me I needed a new power steering system (this was a couple of years ago, but just came up in conversation) for a 4 year old truck that was driven for less than 20 miles per day. Lew, their front man, was extremely rude about it, and kept telling me that they found the only one left in the US, I had limited time, and it was going to cost close to $5,000. Turns out, there were no issues, as I had 2 other mechanics look at it (the part was available all over the US). I had my car there for a tire rotation and oil change a couple of months before, and they tried telling me that all 5 seatbelts needed to be replaced at $100 each, not including labor. I've yet to own a vehicle where this is necessary (it was a 2016, and happened in 2020). They lie through their teeth, and steal from customers. Do not ever go to an Auto Care Plus! read more

I was a long time customer here until I was quoted triple for parts and labor to do a job Rochester Toyota did more completely for 1/2 the price. I had them rotate my tires and there was a DEATH wobble they missed because they didn't test drive the car. I had to have the tires changed back until I can buy new ones. They charged me for an inspection they didn't do missing many expired lights etc. I wrote a letter to the owner, only to be called back by a manager from Derry who knew nothing about me, the Wolfeboro location, and only wanted to defend himself and provided no customer service whatsoever. They used to be upstanding, but are no longer. Don't bother with them. read more

Recently spent close to &1000.00 in repairs for a car we we're selling to insure that it was safe. Now we call for a sticker for a new purchase and it's two weeks, when you only have ten days to get a sticker! Then we call for a leaking brake line repair that I have insurance coverage for and it's two weeks! Do you know anyone that wants to drive a car with no brakes? When we went there the first time , we said that we were looking for a new garage for repairs! We are still looking for a new garage for repairs! Never again! read more

The staff, specifically Marci was incredibly rude and combative when I declined over $1400 service they said was required for a sticker. I wasted over an hour in their stinky waiting room. They told me rotors are always replaced with brakes (not true) and after getting a second opinion found out they lied, my brakes still have thousands of miles left on the pads. They are taking advantage of people who don't know any better, stay away. read more

We've used Auto Care Plus for much of our service over the years, but this was our first experience dealing with the new service advisors. Shoutout to Joe in Wolfeboro who handled our recent car breakdown. Couldn't be happier with the service we got: answered my questions very patiently over the phone, provided us with a nice loaner so we could get to work, and worked with us to use the best coupons and discounts to bring the price down. The techs diagnosed and fixed several problems that were missed elsewhere and continued to cause trouble and safety issues. The car is finally driving as it should. I never write reviews on anything, but Joe's service and that of the techs was outstanding. read more

Took my car to Auto Plus in Wolfboro for rear brakes and a coolant flush. They promised by 12 noon, car was finished by 10:00AM. Great work, clean, friendly, free WiFi, TV, soda, and coffee. read more
