My car blew up and died, right when I was buying a new house and selling mine. The last thing I needed to do was also buy a new car all at the same time. So, I borrowed my cousins pick-up for a couple of months. When everything had settled down, I took my cousins truck to Auto Butler for a good detailing before returning it. The staff was friendly, professional and they did an excellent job. I was pleased with the vacuuming, clean windows and tires. I normally read Yelp reviews before going to a business, but this time I didn't and I am kinda glad I didn't. If I had, I would not have gone. The first time ever here was today. It will also be the last time. $42 to get a $10 wash. The car had lots of dirt on the lower part, obviously showing bad equipment. With all missed on bottom, there is no way they could have done under treatment that was supposed to be part of the package. Plus, the windows had lots of dirt that was on them. They were supposed to be cleaned. It ok that I wasted money on this business, but it would be foolish to ever waste money on them again. read more

This place has gotten terrible! I just went there and, while I appreciate them moving things to vacuum thoroughly, they just threw it around the car and didn't put any of it back where it was. They put all the floor mats back in with the plastic car mats under the cloth ones, when everyone knows the plastic protects the cloth from stains! There was still dust all over the dashboard. The windshield was all smudged up and there was still bird poop on the back window. Plus, on top of all that, they shoved my seat all the way back...which I understand can be needed to get into the car...and tilted it back, which wasn't needed at all. This left me trying to wrangle a 2-year-old, OUT WHERE THEY MOVE CARS, while I tried to readjust it because I couldn't get her into the child car seat with the way they left my front seat!! These people need serious retraining!! read more

Over the past 6 visits, I've experience everything thing from poor attention to detail, little to no real vacuum service, streaked windows, and actual car damage. The young employees appear to have little to no training, and yet the prices are higher than I used to pay in Chicago. I do not recommend patronizing this business in any form or fashion. I went to get a car wash on 1/20/20 The people who vacuumed my car out before putting it through the car wash did not close my door all the way. So when I got to my car my whole seat was wet, I sat down and my pants got soaked. All they said was sorry and we can give you a piece of plastic to sit on. If you are just going to run your car through the machine for a quick wash I am sure it's fine but don't pay for the full service or any extras as they literally do nothing you pay for. I paid for full service and they barely touched my car after coming out of the wash, they did not even open the back hatch or back doors and the car was not hand dried at all, literally a rip off. I asked for a towel and the guys stood there watching me do their job. Go somewhere else for a full service wash. read more

They did a truly horrible job cleaning my car. It was difficult to tell whether they actually did any cleaning of the upholstery or not. Their vacuum cleaner must not have been working. It is a joke that the service is called "Butler's Best." Worse than the service and quality of the work was the fact that none of the employees were wearing a mask. read more

I purchased a service one week ago and was very unhappy with the results. The interior which was vacuumed still had a dead leaf lying in the seat and debris on the floors. The exterior had water streaks. I love to support local businesses when possible but I have better results with a franchise wash which is significantly less expensive. If I could rate 0 stars I would! Do not waste your money!!!! I bought the monthly package and after going through the tunnel the roller brush cracked and broke the spare tire mount on our Jeep. The owner would not claim fault nor even talk to us on the phone. We are now out of over $600. We will not be back and warning others of going. read more

Very bad experience 8/22/20. Both managers in my opinion should be fired. Spent money on tire rotation and oil change. Got free car wash but my car after 20 minutes which I had to go look for was pushed to the end of the wash line even though mine was being vacuumed when I went inside.Just parked out back with the door hanging open. I'm sure it was because my wash was free. They put everyone through that was behind me first and let mine sit. Never again. Too bad because the lube side is very good but I'm done. read more

The car wash is Great. The MACHINE that does the exterior that is. The employees are just going through the motions. Sure if you point out some spot they missed, like if they skipped dusting and wiping out the cup holders, side pockets and corners of the dash and dashboard they give it a second wipe down, BUT just barely. I know they don't get paid much, so it's tough expecting them to do as much as they do. But, come on people. Don't take out your underachiever frustrations on the customers. There are a few of the employees who try to do a good job, It seems it's just a hit and miss as to when they are working when I get my car done. They did nothing inside that I could see. had some soiled spots on dash which were still there. I don't have time to mention all the things that was so bad. I didnt mind the $23 if it would have gotten my car clean. Super slow day 5 guys working on cars out front standing around Doing nothing. I had asked the guy that you tell what service you want that I wanted my cup holders clean. Get in my car and they didn't even wipe console down Let alone the cup holders. So I told the blond haired manager my car wasn't clean, can I have a rag to clean it? He threw me a rag. Hahahah! So I started complaining. He told me it would be an extra $23 ($46 total) to get my console and cup holders clean! Hahaha!!!! He did get in and wipe down better but then got out and wouldn't look at me. Doesn't seem to be a very good manager. Got home and I have a van so the carpet between the middle and back seat wasn't vacuumed. Called talked to another manager and he said to bring car back and they will vacuum the back. No thanks!! read more

I went to the butler today 4-16-22 and when asked what kind of wash I wanted I said the quick clean and was quickly informed by the gentleman that his manager just told him they can't do those anymore because they're short staffed. Ok, fine.. so I got the quick wipe. Went inside and paid and sat outside to wait. As I was waiting I noticed another car getting the quick clean, so I went inside and asked why that person could but I was just told I couldn't?! The young lady at the counter was clueless, so I asked for a manager..5 mins later one came and I asked them, he seemed clueless as well and wasn't sure why the other employee told me I couldn't get the quick clean. So he proceeded to tell me I could pay the additional $80 dollars to get it on top of the $44 I already paid. I asked why I couldn't pay the difference, since I already had paid the $44 and had some the service already done and then just pay the rest? He said I had to pay another $80 on top of the $44 even tho I already had some of same services done/ wash done. At this point I felt like I was getting taken advantage of by this guy. So I left and will certainly be taking my business elsewhere and I told them that because whatever he was trying to pull didn't make any sense. Upon looking at the work they did do, they didn't vacuum under the seats, there was still little trash on the back floor board as well. So I would recommend anyone to take their business elsewhere to get a better wash! read more

Terrible!!! My wife paid over $40 for a complete cleaning. Large pieces of dirt and soda straw wrappers were left in plain sight. Also found part of their rag used to clean the inside, on the floor. The could not have wiped off the door frames because there was still water drops left. When we started the car, the GPS had been activated and the radio was on FULL BLAST! I love them! I have had my personally detailed and yeah that's been a grade above however I paid $250 for that, for $40 to have full detail it's amazing! People compliment my car after and I always feel good when I leave. I wouldn't go anywhere else, there is no one like them! This place has gone steadily down hill. Got the Butler's Best plus the $10 "quick shine". The back seat and carpet had not even been vacuumed, not to mention the outside back of the car was still filthy nor were the tires cleaned with Armor All which was supposed to be a part of the Butler's Best package. Didn't notice til we got home, and my husband called and said he wanted a refund as we had problems the last time we went there. They told us they don't give refunds. Not a good job cleaning my truck. My biggest complaint is their staff played with my radio and erased every station I had. I called to complain and I was met with a hostel little girl. I did' the want anything , I only wanted warn management what the staff was doing. The management was to busy to talk to me and the little girl was argumentative. Find another car wash this is a dump. My wife tried this dump again. I asked her how was the service? I will never go back, they are slow and rude, including the young cashier. It took forever to wipe down the car and it was not busy. Their attitude is terrible. When I looked at her car I found four spots that were missed. It should be renamed Auto Butler Dump. TRIED them again. What a joke. Was met by a mature gentleman who I told to clean my truck inside and out. Cost $16 a fair price. Usual car was is about 5 to 6 bucks and cleaning the interior is about 10 bucks, so a total of $16 sounds OK. I watched the truck go through the car wash, then watched their A Team wipe it down. EXCEPT the interior. LISTEN TO THIS. I was told that only the top of the dash board is wiped down, not the rest of the dash or doors or anything else in the interior, just the top of the dash board. I was then told for an additional $13 they would finish cleaning the interior. Attitudes have changed, every was very nice. I periodically go to this joint for the entertainment. What will they do next? They already messed up my radio, they allowed rude children in the past to run their business, now they clean only the top of dash boards. Nobody's perfect and that's why I've waited 4 years to post a review. I find the experience to be very consistent and they continually upgrade the equipment and facility. It may be one of the cleanest businesses I frequent. My pet peeve are the streaky windows. I cannot tolerate that and after a couple of reminders and do overs early in my relationship, it is now never an issue. It's rather remarkable considering the number of newbies they have to train each year. I can only think of a couple of times, out of dozens of washes, when I had to say anything at all about my experience. These folks try very hard to exceed your expectation. read more

Went to my office 3 miles away to wipe down the water and found multiple scratches that were not there before! I went back immediately and asked to speak to the manager who looked all of 18. I took the car in to be washed and brought it home. A couple of hours later I noticed scratches on the hood that were obviously from a type of brush at a car wash. When I called them and told them about it, they said to bring it in. When I got there, the guy LITERALLY didn't even look at the scratches before saying that the scratches weren't from their car wash. He then went and looked at the car, making excuses about how the scratches "would only be one way" and wouldn't just be in one spot if it was theirs, etc.... I like their car wash has always come out clean. The oil change place on the other hand is why i will never be back. Had my oil changed there brought it home and the next day noticed a oil spot on my garage floor. Knowing that my filter is a hard one to get to i clean the area up and around the oil filter so i would not get any more oil on my garage floor. Get out of work that day and notice oil under the truck again. take it to auto butler and tell them my oil filter is leaking please do something about it. I was very nice and tried to be understanding because i could just be the oil filter gasket or something not their fault. The manager very irritated pulls my truck in and goes down and looks at it (i find out later what he really did) but comes back and said to me no man that thing is not leaking anything. i told him i didn't just drive 20 mins because i thought it was leaking i drove 20 mins because i know it was leaking. i pull out park in home depo parking lot look at the oil filter you could see the marks where he had just wiped it off and or tried to tighten it more. i get home look again and its dripping again. i call to speak to someone that can resolve this issue and what a surprise. the only person that can handle that is the owner and she will be out for the next week. All i wanted was them to fix the obviously problem they fixed originally now i don't want them to fix the problem i want them to pay someone else to fix the problem because i don't trust the will even attempt to do it right or attempt to tell me the problem is fixed when it hasn't. I keep thinking if i was older and could not get around as good as i could now i would know where the oil was coming from and would have taken their word that my truck isn't leaking. Then what the engine has oil starvation issues and gives out. BS if you ask me. read more
