About six months ago, I rolled into Gabriel's shop for some advice on my 2014 Honda Pilot. After 11…read moreyears, the door arm rests in the front were tearing along with the center console. We discussed a plan and a cost but I just didn't get it done in 2024. Fast forward and the tears had gotten worse, the drivers seat back had popped open (Broken Clips) and the frame around the driver's side seat cracked open like an egg. At this point, it was time and Gabriel asked me to bring the car in on Tuesday. When I left it, a price was agreed on and he promised to have it done on Wednesday. To our delight, I received a phone call about 7 hours after dropping it off. The car was READY, so we drove over to pick her up. I was floored at how well the interior looked. Those problem areas were addressed and it looked brand new. Gabriel mentioned that they reinforced those areas and the material quality used was a step above. We are very impressed with the work and I will return to Gabriel's shop without hesitation. A huge thumbs up to Nacho at Harv's Car Wash for the recommendation.

The top and plastic were in excellent shape. I was quoted $1,700 (if cash, or $2,000 if by card) to (1) remove the 6 easily accessible bolts to remove the top, (2) re-sew the plastic to the canvas top, and (3) reinstall the top with the 6 bolts. When I asked to make sure this was his price not for a new top but just to re-sew the existing plastic, he confirmed that was right. Unbelievable! I got the job done perfectly in 5 hours at another shop in Indio for less than 1/4 of this price. I suggest you get a few other estimates (including before selecting this place.

I previously took my car to another large body shop in Bermuda Dunes on Country Club. They immediately gave me a quote that was almost TWICE what Indio Body did the work for. Do not be put off by the terrible location they are in. It is a row of dilapidated auto repair shops and what looked like a salvage shop. I noticed however that Indio Auto Body had several very high end Mercedes they were working on and restoring a classic car as well. When was the last time you got more than 100% of what you were promised..... and at no additional charge? That was my experience here. I was very impressed with the detailed condition of my car when I picked it up. And I actually felt embarrassed with all the little extras they did for me at no charge.
