I signed up for the program and was immediately surrounded by support in my healing journey. They helped me discover what was causing my physical pain and gave me the tools I needed to heal. I also benefited from the therapy sessions that helped me to heal through the depression I was going through after the storm. I am so thankful I found them. 6 months later I feel incredible and have a better understanding of my body and what it needs to stay strong and healthy.

In addition to a very well…read morethought out and organized program and appointments, I have received unscheduled calls from various team members to address a concern I was having or to congratulate me on an accomplishment. That I wasn't expecting at all and it's moments like that that make this very personal and give me an extra push to continue focusing on health. I read a recent review where the writer said the same information could have been obtained in a single book. That is not my experience. Yes, much of the information is out there but to sort through a world of information, apply it in a methodical and evidence based way, and at a pace that promotes true change, have a customized supplement plan based on ME.....if it was that simple I would have applied it all years ago and wouldn't be seeking help. And it's more than just knowledge, it's personal guides that each listen intently and provide support, more knowledge and suggestions, and yes, they keep me accountable. Change that includes nutrition, physical and emotional well-being, profoundly managing the impact of stress and so much more takes time and honestly is challenging And it's all intertwined. It doesn't happen overnight. My personal hurdles, besides, wanting to be the healthiest I can be, include chronic insomnia, a battle with sugar that goes way beyond a sweet tooth, and physical and emotional changes from 6 years of of caregiving for 3 elderly family members with a variety of illnesses and dementia. Since I started working with the Waterleaf team almost 4 months ago I can see steady progress. But the best and most succinct description of the changes came from my husband who said "you are happier and more present."

I had insomnia for over two years. In those two years, I mostly believed the lack of sleep was…read moreanxiety related, but then other symptoms started to appear too -night sweats, a burning in my neck, etc. I thought once I worked on the anxiety, the symptoms would disappear and my sleep would improve, but despite so much attention to my mental health, nothing seemed to change. I woke up between 4 and 4:30 for months and became very familiar with just laying in the dark waiting for the day to start. If you have insomnia, you feel like a zombie. Everything good in life has a bit of a gray cloud over it when you can't sleep. Jobs, relationships, friendships, everything feels like too much energy when you can't sleep and yet somehow you have to show up for them (or at the minimum your job). I did a full work up, all the way to a CT scan of almost my whole body with my doctor at Kaiser, mostly for the sweating. They couldn't find anything wrong with me. Homeopathic doctors, Chinese herbs, hypnosis, it felt like nothing worked. A friend who had insomnia told me about Dr. Stella, and one frustrated day I reached out to her and booked my first appointment. I now wake up at my alarm :) on weekend, I sleep in. It is still not perfect, but a huge, HUGE improvement from waking up at 4:30 for months and months. What I like about Dr. Stella is that it feels like a partnership. She prescribed homeopathic medicine which helped a lot, but a lot of it was on my lifestyle-I had to improve my diet, sleep habits, take supplements, etc. Overall, it has been a really healing experience. It helps that Dr. Stella feels compassionate and also is good at explaining things-as a science-lover, this was great for me and I looked for ways to further support my healing once I understood the mechanics of what was going on. I am a fan now and would very much recommend her to my family and friends (and already have).

Stella powerfully held the space for my healing and she is a very gifted medical intuitive.

She brought up some of my soul misalignments which I was aware of, and connected them to some I was not aware of. I had been blocked in several areas of my life, and Lauren help to shed light on these areas. I quickly signed up for a 2 month life-coach program, which I have since renewed for an additional 3 months. Lauren is a life-coach/mentor/spiritual healer all wrapped into one. I have worked with other spiritual healers and Lauren is very different, in that she is mostly there to provide support for my soul while I do the work. She does some energy healing/clearing/chakra balancing, but only after her clients do their own work for several months. She does not "fix" her clients, she simply guides, supports and holds space. She has generated wonderful practitioner/client boundaries, and is still available whenever needed. Lauren is advanced in her practices and it did take me a month or two to get fully settled into the program, and understand her guidance. Now that I am fully comfortable, I am really enjoying the work and have experienced major shifts. Lauren combines the perfect amount of tough love and soft love, and provides a gentle kick in the pants when necessary. It is important to keep in mind you must be willing to do the work when working with Lauren. You will not be "fixed" or "healed", you will be doing it yourself, which is makes everything even more gratifying. I highly recommend Lauren for spiritual work and life coaching.
