I have bought three cars from this car yard in the past year, all around the same time for myself…read moreand two of my family members, firstly the car appeared to be of good condition, untill it was later found that one of the cars had been in an extreme accident, causing great amounts of damage and had just been patched and resold, the other had a faulty transmission, that i was then later made to pay a further $1000 on this already overpriced car, and the third was a crappy magna for the daughters first car, but the owner, known as Andrew happily sold it to her KNOWING that it was unsafe to drive, and stopped randomly while driving, but when confronted about these issues, the drivers, (us) had caused them. Shotty social skills, he is extremely rude, the cars are of poor quality and they are sold for obnoxious prices. I would suggest going elsewhere when car shopping, don't give this typical con artist your hard earned money! Other workers there are great, the business's only downfall is the owner, known as Andrew, who knows very little to nothing about cars, but will pretend to anyway and always tell you that you are wrong, what happened to customer is always right?? Long story short, horrible experience and would never want to ever meet a man with as horrible people skills as the owner again.

I popped in to see Karen from Stillwell Ford and was greeted with a friendly smile. I explained to Karen what I was looking for and she showed me to the Ford Territory. I had a breif look as I was in a rush and she gave me some information and I left. Karen told me that I could Loan the car over night so a few days later I returned to loan the car over night. A few forms later and I drove off in a car. It was so helpful and non stressful to be able to do this as it gave my wife and I ample time to get a feel for the car. We made a decision to go with another brand purely based on what we needed in a vehicle and this didnt suit our needs. However Karen was so extremely helpful that I would recommend popping in to see her if you are in the Market for a new Ford.

I drove the car home ( 1.5 hours away) had a mechanic look at it and the clutch was completely burnt out. I called this mob who agreed on the phone they would get their mechanic to fix it, drove another 1.5 hours back for the boss to come out and be very aggressive and verbally abusive and refused to fix the clutch and told me he didnt give a %#&# if I left a bad review and tried to blame me for the clutch, he then was told to give my money back including all my full tank of fuel, rego and service costs and he declined being more verbally abusive. He transferred my purchased price and nothing more swearing and said he could tell me to %^^# off and take the car and it isnt his problem. Absolutely disgusting place to deal with and very disheartening to save for a car and be sold a lemon and be spoken to with such aggression.

We'd decided on a car, rang up to confirm, and the sales staff put the car on hold for us. Suddenly - during a 1.5 hour drive on the way to the yard - we decided to check the original ad (we had a gut feeling that they might not be on the level) and sure enough it was sold. Spectrum Car Sales did not have the common courtesy to phone, message, or email. No word at all from them. We rang up to confirm (to save us the remaining 45 minutes), and they had indeed sold the car from under us. Do not trust this business!

So, after receiving some info via email, I ventured down here to test drive the Ford Fiesta. The salesman David (who originally emailed me) was excellent - the right balance between imparting information without being pushy. In the end, the car spoke for itself and I decided that the Fiesta was the way to go, but I was impressed by the way David 'sold' the car, highlighting the features without doing the 'hard sell'. Delivery was very easy, everything was ready when they estimated it would be, and David answered all my questions whenever I had any. Would definitely recommend this dealership :)
