We love all the catchy signs they have around. Staff was very friendly, the beer is affordable at three dollars each, so we can definitely recommend this spot for a cold drink on a hot summer day Check out their list of Michigan beers too. It's also a great spot to catch whatever sporting event is happening.

One cool thing is that they have a shelf full of canned beer loosies that you can pick and choose to make your own six-pack. A lot of the beers are local to Michigan or the Midwest, which is neat. I love that this store focuses on local things, even with their beverages. There aren't too many stores on Main Street where you can get a bottle of wine or beers to go, but this is one place. When I visited, beer and wine was 25% off! Yay for discount alcohol. Little Luxuries would be a great place to stop in and find a souvenir to take home. They have so many Mackinac Island-related things in the store, so you're bound to find a nice little tchotchke or memento to bring home to remember your time on the island.

I myself found a beautiful pair of handmade earrings that I could not pass up. Staff was helpful and complimented my purchase with a comment of herself having to go check out the earrings, since they were just showcased. My purchase was wrapped up in pretty tissue paper. Coming in, we found the place dark and packed, many people discussing consuming cocaine which was off putting. I went to the bar to get drinks, and the bartender was out of the first four items I asked for, so I had to settle for a different drink. When paying for the drinks, the bartender let me know it was cash for under $10, and didn't tell me until after she opened the drinks and was lucky I had cash on me. Overall, I don't think I'd be back. It's a pretty fairly sketchy place and not somewhere I'd want to be alone as a woman.
