This is a tightly-run ship, for filing many youth through the ritual of "teenage braces."…read more The first visit is "free." You fill out paperwork in-office, since although they have a web site, they do not provide the ability to print and complete ahead of time. So, they could get with the times a bit more, with that, but their forms aren't too lengthy, so it only took about 5 minutes in the waiting room. They then take you back, put your kiddo in a chair, and do a cursory look, to determine if your child needs braces, and what approach they would take. But really, there is enough of a glance to see how severe or moderate the issues are, and Dr. Small knows what he's doing, so not a huge ordeal. At the end, they will say, "about (fill in the blank) years... about (fill in the blank) dollars." Then you can decide if you will come back, pay an up-front cash fee (in our case about $200), and get X-rays and molds made. A very nice feature is that they will take the dollar amount your insurance doesn't cover, and break that cost over the course of months of treatment, as in-house financing. So, the pain of $5000, less insurance, can be spread over approximately 2 years. They file "most insurance," so you likely won't have an issue.

We originally started our orthodontic treatment with Dr. Garlitz, who we were told by several…read moredentists that he was the best in the county. During the time of my daughters treatment process, Dr.Garlitz brought in Dr. Ben Campbell. Dr. Campbell took over my daughters care as Dr.Garlitz was retiring, and the transition has been completely smooth. Dr. Campbell, without fail, has come out to speak to me at each and every appointment to discuss my daughters progress and the next steps. He has gone above and beyond what I would have expected in service, and at the end of her treatment, he surprised her by taking off her braces right on the spot so that she could have a beautiful smile for her upcoming camp that she was so excited about! Needless to say my daughter was in tears. Now we get to start another child, and I have total faith that he will continue to give this specific attention to detail that will result in yet another beautiful smile in our family!

I have been getting near daily spam calls AND texts for "invisalign" even though that was NOT what I needed, something I already told them over the phone.

It took no time for me to get a free consultation which went pretty smoothly. Sheila and Dr Valeriano explained to me the best treatment for my teeth and payment options available to me. Dr. V even told me about my airway and alerted me to other possible health concerns that I may need I get addressed if the braces didn't help. Dr V was my second orthodontist I saw for consultation and unlike the other orthodontist, he told me I only needed one extraction for my 24 month treatment and I could start the treatment as soon as I was ready and get extraction later. Previous orthodontist said I needed 3 extractions and 30 month treatment. Thankfully I didn't even need one extraction with Dr V in the end! Dr V has saved me a lot of money and even offered $500 off my treatment. Although I wanted Invisalign I got braces but the kind that is clear on top so it has made my braces experience much more enjoyable as an adult. The office is very clean, the front desk staff always great me with a smile and are prompt to service me. Even now during COVID the staff has done a great job taking temps and making sure the office is free of patients so less room for any passing of virus. My first patient care coordinator Brittany was great! She always explained what she was doing but also took a personal interest in what I have going on. All the others for the most part have been great as well. I see Dr V each appointment unless I'm just going to get my wires taking off for a cleaning and the office has always been able to accommodate my cleaning schedule! Best of all, I am always offered with a mini dessert on the way out! I finished my treatment within 18 months and love my teeth! I high key miss my braces too though. Thx Dr V and team.
