I bought a pdf file from Etsy and it suggested to print with a printer capable of printing posters…read more I am not tech savvy at all and had no idea what any of these words meant. So I called my local office depot thinking I would get someone willing to help or atleast point me in the right direction. Instead, I got, Adam. Very dry, but that is forgivable so I continued with asking my questions while reading him the print instructions the seller had given me. Being that his career is printing i thought he would know all of the vocabulary. Every question was met with a rude, dry, question that suggested he really didn't know, or didn't want to do his job and he would prompt me to make an online order for curbside pickup. So I ask if I could just come in and show him what is on my phone. I explained it might be better if he could see it. Again he said just go post the order online. I explained to him that I am not sure how to go about that because the file came with two sets of instructions. So I told him I was going to drive over and show him and hoped he could point me in the right direction. I live right down the road and was there in less than 10. The first little guy that tried helping was actually very sweet, I wish I would've gotten his name. He told me I could send the file to a certain email address and he could try to help me there. As I am pulling it up , Adam interrupts without even knowing what I am sending, very rudely, "you can't just send us a link, it has to be the actual document " which it was so i quickly flip my phone around to show him that it was the actual document. After seeing that, he said, "well then yeah you can send it to that email address." Which i already had. Then he comes over, takes the mouse from the nice little guy. Makes a few clicks...and says, actually these are scaled for just regular sized letter paper. I feel like now is a good time to explain that it is a template for a foam, wearable head mask. I said, well it was suggested to print big, can you see if it will be life sized, or small if it prints on regular sized paper? He exclaimed that he didn't know. So I ask if I could see it, that I could probably judge it by eye because I knew what I was trying to build. So I kinda take a step over and a stretch to see his screen and he literally made me feel like I had leprosy or that i was the unibomber. He took a defensive step back and drew an invisible line in the air with his hand and very rudely said, "you can't come behind this counter!" (Now is a good time to say, i am 4'11" and not intimidating at all) At this point, after giving Adam so many chances, over the phone and in person I simply said, "nevermind, I'll go somewhere else. " as I turn to walk away, and only AFTER I said I'll go somewhere else and started to walk away, he says, I can show you here, and flips the computer screen to face me. Adam, you should've done that in the first place. So I just left. I get home, I'm trying to figure it out on my phone and I get an email notification from Gmail saying that the email address i sent the file to in office depot blocked me. so I guess in the future, even if Adam doesn't work there anymore, and I need a file printed, I won't be able to email them. Thanks, Adam, for confirming my decision to never use Office Depot for anything, ever again. Some people should not be at a desk where they have to interact with the public. I also wanted to add i was never rude to Adam, not even when he was rude to me.

After not being able to go to the infamous hardware store in Downtown Covington (they were closed), I happen to look across the street and saw Mo's. As happen chance I needed some large canvases for an upcoming filming and made my way over. I am a thrifty artist. I know that supplies are expensive in the big box art supply stores. I generally get my supplies on sale, with a coupon or online, mostly online in bulk. On this day, Mo's had just what I was looking for large canvases on sale and paint. I ended buying all the large canvases they had because the prices were too good to pass up and quite a few other things. The store had a little bit of everything and a lot of unique items too, gifts, papers and maps, even the digital image projector that I had eye spied online...... I wholeheartedly support local and this one little business has a lot of bang for your buck! If you're an artist, if you want to discover the forgotten hidden artist (you were magnificent in grade school)...if you need a quirky gift, if you dislike big box stores, if you want to go to the cool hardware store and then run across the street to pick up a sketch book to transfer all that inspiration...then Mo's is a must... and Mo's has everything your need to create what your mind can imagine!

I go here for my canvas and painting supplies. They always have what I need with minimal hassle…read more Great local business.
