Unfortunately I had to go to Urgent Care yesterday (for an issue I was not thrilled about.)…read moreRandomly picked this place because it was a 12 minute drive on the way home from work. I've been to medical offices before where the staff is rude or acts like you are bothering them. NOT here. Good medical facility, helpful polite staff. I have to give kudos to the nurse (didn't catch his name- white guy with tattoos) and Dr. Finston. She was a great doctor. Allayed all my fears and concerns. Actually listened and seemed to care. Uber grateful for the piece of mind she gave me.

strongly urge people to think twice before going to this urgent care…read more I waited over an hour while the nurse practitioner, Erin, was in the office with her feet up, eating lunch. When I finally questioned the delay and was ready to leave, I was told she had an emergency involving her son. I understood and expressed concern, but the lack of care I received was unacceptable. No vitals were taken. No stool test was performed. They simply did a swab, sent me home, and I never received a follow-up call from Erin regarding my results. My condition continued to deteriorate, and I ultimately ended up in the Hoag Emergency Room, where proper stool testing was performed and I was diagnosed with C. difficile, a potentially serious intestinal infection. I am extremely disappointed that no one followed up or took the time to properly investigate my symptoms. I could have faced a much more serious outcome had I not gone to the emergency room. Please do not dismiss your symptoms or assume you are receiving adequate care here. My experience was frightening, frustrating, and completely unacceptable.

I just read some of the reviews posted on yelp. My heart goes out to all patients who see Medical…read moreand Dental practitioners. I have been in the dental field for over 35 years, so I have seen how insurance companies can rob patients in 3 ways. They take their money, offer minimal services and supplies, and sometimes they take their life. My uncle had melanoma, and the medical facility could not treat it aggressively because the insurance would not let the doctor do the job that would have saved his life, so he died. It seems dramatic, but that is the truth. Also, why are the insurance companies' deductibles so high? Why haven't they raised the maximum dollar amount of a1000.00 you are allowed to spend per year for dental? Didn't inflation affect them too? For this reason, medical physicians and dentists are finally fighting back to defend their patients and saying to the insurance companies, "YOU WILL NOT DICTATE HOW I TREAT MY PATIENTS." Consequently, this means they don't accept most insurance plans because they would have to accept their usual and customary fees. An example of this, my insurance fee for a pap smear is $35.00, REALLY? Are they nuts? Let's take a moment to figure out the costs the doctor has just for this procedure. There is the Dr.s time, staff, personal protective equipment for the staff, disposable equipment for the pap, and lab fees. Additionally, they have expenses for barriers, disinfectants (hospital grade), and sterilization products, so you-the patient-will not get a disease from other patients. Now, do you really think it's fair for Dr. Mc Clellan to accept a fee of $35.00 for a pap? I don't. That fee would put her out of business. Dr. Mc Clellan is one of the doctors who care and goes the extra mile. She has saved thousands of women and loves each one of us. She doesn't rush the process to collect information during a patient's visit to make an informed decision for a patient's health. Dr. McClellan does not see 100 patients a day to pay her overhead, staff, and bills. You feel heard and feel like she is doing everything possible to make sure you stay healthy. So what is the answer? Don't waste your money paying for health or dental insurance. Take the money you pay for insurance coverage and put it into a savings account. Have 3 different accounts for dental, medical, and hospitalization. If you don't use all the money, then keep adding to it. Negotiate with the Drs to see if they will give you a discount for paying them in cash. I am a middle-class person and don't have thousands to spend on medical or dental, but I do not want to see doctors who do not care to do their job correctly and misdiagnosis my health condition or minimize my pain and suffering if I really have it. I know this is frustrating because the patients are in the middle, but we patients need to say TO THE INSURANCE COMPANIES, NO MORE HIGH DEDUCTIBLES; DON'T DICTATE WHAT TYPE OF TREATMENT WE SHOULD HAVE, and RAISE THE YEARLY MAXIMUM FOR DENTAL INSURANCE TO $4000.00 PER YEAR.

Dr. McClellan has retired now and I am sorry for all of her patients who had a relationship with…read moreher and can not find a physician of her caliber to see now. Dr McClellan was a fantastic, caring and knowledgeable physician. I trusted her 100%! She is no replaceable.

Reference Dr. Anne Marie Fine NMD…read more I have been a patient of Dr. Anne Marie Fine for the past 16 years.  While she has achieved magnificent results for myself and my son.  This is about what she could accomplish for my father. At the time my father was 86 years old, my mother had just passed at age 84.  Dad started having episodes (5) of internal bleeding; each time he would lose 2 or 3 and sometimes more pints of blood.  Each of these episodes was life threatening for Dad, especially considering his medical history, which included 2 heart attacks, 2 strokes, congestive heart failure, marginal kidney and liver function and a very low cardiac ejection fraction.     We started to go to various specialists in Scottsdale including the Mayo Clinic.  Finally after the 5th episode of internal bleeding, they concluded that Dad had a blockage in the portal vein carrying clean blood from his liver to his heart; and this is causing esophageal varicose, which are causing the internal bleeding.  They also conclude that because of Dad's age and medical history, that they could not risk operating on Dad to remove the blockage.  They also said that all the drugs that they had to address the situation could make matters worse. We were told that he would have to live with this life-threatening condition.     Not wanting to accept this prognosis, I asked Dr. Fine there was anything she could do...  Her response was I don't know, let me consider it.   She asked for all the data from the various specialists and Mayo.  She digested that, conducted an almost 2-hour patient assessment, and ordered more naturopathic tests;  Then she called me and said that I believe that I can help your father.   She developed a specific plan, that included diet changes and supplements and other elements.     We were doing CAT scans and ultrasounds, and in a three-month period after Dad began receiving care from Dr. Fine, he went from complete blockage, to partial blockage, to none.   In the last year of Dad's life, he had no more episodes of internal bleeding.  We were able to take 3 fishing trips to Canada, see the great grandchildren, and do a 5000-mile road trip, seeing family and lifelong friends.      There not sufficient words to express the gratitude and appreciation, I feel for Dr. Fine's professionalism, brilliance, and indeed miraculous healing gifts. Dr. Al Azawi is professional, sincere and such a kind doctor. She pays attention to every detail and was always on top of everything. There were times I had so much on my mind that I would forget to bring something up, and she would be the one to remind me and make sure we talked about it. That meant so much to me because it showed just how much attention she gives her patients. I always left my appointments feeling heard and reassured. The girls in her office were always so sweet and helpful too. Her office is clean and cozy, and I never had to wait long to be seen, which made our visits so much easier. I'm so thankful she was the one to deliver our sweet girl. Having a doctor I trusted caring for both of us meant everything to our family.
