Contacted them to see if they accepted my dad's insurance and explained his reason for referral…read more Got a referral from his doctor. Called multiple times to be told they don't have it. Had to have it all sent again. Called to make an appointment. They have the referral and ask "why are we seeing him?" I reiterated that he's got Valley Fever. Receptionist- "I have to ask the doctor if we treat that." What on earth!?! That's a pretty common infectious disease- but okay. Puts me on hold. "Yes we treat that (obviously) but we can't make his appointment without his CT results. Ma'am the CT and PET and labs are in the medical record. "We can't see it." Okay fine can I bring the info to the appointment?" No- we won't make an appt without it". I will find a new office that's actually helpful and organized and gives a S*** about the actual patient. This office is a joke. I will assume the doctors aren't much better.

I have a referral from my primary Dr. to this place. I called and made the appointment with the…read moredoctor that was referred to me. With that being said I had to wait a month and a half to see the doctor. the day before the office called me to confirm the appointment and I said I will be there to see the doctor I was referred to and they told me I had to see another doctor. I was not please with that. if they had to do that they should have called me to let me know not the day before. So now I have to wait another 2 months to get an appointment with the original doctor I was supposed to see in the first place. I know it's only the office staff messing up but then again I'm sure the doctors will side with them if I complain and then they treat you like .... going forward. I will be able to tell when I see the doctor and explain the situation. If they are not sympathetic then I will have to find another doctor. You can't trust anyone to do their job right anymore. What a bummer ! With all this going on this year they think they can treat you like take it or leave it. Stay safe all !

She made sure I knew she was available to me if I suspected any infection and told me exactly what I needed to look out for. All of the one star reviews are from people who have never been treated by her before. I trust Dr. Koper with my life.

No one ever answers the phones, and they check their messages 24 hours later. If we were dealing with a bank or something, I suppose that would be acceptable, but for a doctor that treats serious, acute diseases? Not so much. They shouldn't be doing phone appointments. If there's an issue with the phone they're calling, or any issue at all, they don't answer their phones. I'm waiting for my dad's phone visit, and they called the wrong phone number even after promising they would call a different phone number. I wish I could just call and wait on hold with my dad and me waiting for the doctor on the phone. But No. Did I mention that they do not answer their phones? ------ Changing my review because Dr. Koper did call back, and also I've calmed down now. She is taking excellent care of my father so I'll change it to 4. Perhaps they are short-staffed.

When I started visiting Dr Zimmerman, she started off by examining my whole body, history of my problems eating habits, cause and effect of every symptoms and whole through situations analysis and came up with a customized plan of where I'm now and where I should be in the near future and in long run. I'm so thrilled that I have found her and I highly recommend her to who's looking for a real root of their problems. Azadeh Dastmalchi

I do not recommend Dr Zimmerman at all. She is VERY money driven. I stopped seeing her after she…read morediagnosed me with a mold problem where I was living (at the time I was living and caring for my 91 year old mother and my developmentally disabled sister). She told me I needed to leave my home because of the mold. Money was an issue with me at the time, obviously, and I was in absolute tears. Her only response was to quickly try to schedule AND CHARGE $$$$$ me for another appointment to discuss how we would deal the mold issue. No compassion at all for the situation I was in. About a month later, she sent out a letter to her patients saying she was "retiring". An ethical doctor would probably stop taking new patients if they were getting ready to retire. Why would you take on new patients if you knew you would not see them through the process of getting better? Then a couple months later she sent another email to her patients saying she wasn't going to retire, but was joining another practice. Something is just not right here. I am now seeing a functional medicine doctor in Montana that is wonderful and not money driven. A PIECE OF ADVICE FOR EVERYONE, YOU DON'T NEED TO SEE A FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE DOCTOR BASED IN OC. YOU CAN SEE MOST FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE DOCTORS VIRTUALLY AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND FINDING A DOCTOR OUTSIDE OF OC. The worst part is I just received a lab bill for $2500 that I never authorized almost one year after I stopped seeing her. I called her to try and help me rectify the bill and her new receptionist told me it was my problem. JUST TO CLARIFY READING HER RESPONSE. THESE ARE THE TESTS SHE RECOMMENDED AND ORDERED. NO TEST SHOULD HAVE BEEN OVER $500. SHE SENT ME TO THESE LABS. BE VERY CAREFUL OF HER "3RD PARTY CHARGES". I can understand how frustrating it is when labs send surprise charges, which is why I always recommend that patients try to find out from Quest and all other labs up front what all their charges will be. I never want anyone to experience the stress of unexpected charges. The $2500 bill was not from our office; it was from a lab where this patient chose to get testing done. The payments are handled by the lab and not by my office, so I'm sorry that I'm not able to help with 3rd party charges.
