I found Melissa through online searching and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly she responded to my inquiry for engagement photos. We met in person, checking out her portfolio and my husband and I agreed she was the style we were looking for. Getting our actual engagement shoot done was a bit of an adventure due to schedule conflicts and weather (yaaay, Texas!), but we got them done in the end and they turned out awesomely. Melissa was very sweet and professional throughout all of our communication. I had been using pinterest for ideas on poses for the wedding day and she was very open minded and flexible to the ideas I had. She even did a few of the ones I had on my pinterest page! :) Our photos were done within about 2 weeks from the wedding (some of my friends were waiting months for theirs, yuck!), and they were exactly what we hoped they'd be. Overall we had a great experience with her and I can say with confidence she was not at all stress inducing on the wedding day, like another vendor had been.

I had a client who was not so happy with her wedding photographer but was in LOVE with his engagement session shooter. Guess who that was? They loved loved Jenna! I honestly have not had the honor of working with Jenna on the professional level but think its much more important to describe what it's like on a client level. We (my husband and I) are not photogenic people. We hate posing for photos unless we have had something to drink (and by something I mean a lot!). But I knew our time for couple photos on our wedding was limited (though our photographer then did a great job!) and we scheduled this session with Jenna. I loved working with Jenna because she would shout directions at us. She wouldn't force us into anything but a little guidance is always appreciated - especially for those of us who DON 'T model you know? She literally made a 2ft width space of grass look like a field...who does that???!!!??? Thank you Jenna!!!!!

She is unique from other wedding photographers that I saw in that her photos portray colors vividly and boldly. She has an incredibly inclusive and diverse business and is accepting of all different wedding and couple types! Jenna as a person really tries to get to know you and she even took us out to dinner just to chat a few weeks before our big day! We absolutely loved our photos from our engagement shoot and our wedding - most of the important moments were captured in beautifully vivid color. We had an Indian fusion wedding and chose her because we saw another Indian fusion wedding she had done in which we fell in love with her photography style. That said, there is a certain dramatic style and culturally specific type of photos that Indian weddings usually have and I felt that I missed out on some of those types of photos (even though we are not a fan of overly dramatic to begin with and she already adds a good amount of drama to her photos!). There could have been a little more cultural exploration there and of course that will come with her practicing on Indian weddings. Regardless, I am so glad I took a chance on her because we were really happy with the results for a totally reasonable price for wedding photographers. Would certainly recommend her in general! And for Indian weddings, just make sure you work with her to tell and show her exactly what you're looking for, but she can definitely give you the drama you're looking for!

We have never even had a professional family portrait taken of us. Now that my kids are much older - one teenager and two tweens, I don't want to miss out on many moments with them. I love candid, story-telling pictures and so choosing Sean for our inaugural family photo session was a no brainer. He made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera and the his demeanor was very laid back which made the whole experience very easy! The locations chosen for our day was ideal and the weather was amazing! In addition to our experience, the communication before and after our session was very smooth. Brian and Amanda were accommodating with a new photoshoot date and were understanding that we were just not ready to take our little one out of the house so soon. They were extremely professional and prepared for our shoot. They got the best looking cake and balloons I have EVER seen and I just love, love how the photos look. If you decide to do a smash cake shoot, BRING A TOWEL AND MAYBE ONE OR TWO WATER BOTTLES so you can clean up. They tell you to bring this in an email but I thought a bag of baby wipes would suffice, NOPE. I'm super excited to work with them on ordering prints and future photo shoots.

For our first session, she came to my home and photographed my baby and I as I nursed her. She was so easy going, and fun to talk with. Initially I was a little apprehensive and embarrassed of my body being that I'd just birthed a human plus I'm not very thin. However, Sabrena was so kind and comforting. It was like having an old friend in my home. When I received my photos back a few weeks later I was so impressed and in absolute love with the work she produced. She was able to capture such beautiful moments between my little babe and I that I didn't even recognize we shared. A few weeks later I reached out to her about my interest in doing a Milk Bath session. After several emails ironing out the details we'd decided on using vibrant colors inspired by the rainbow to represent my rainbow baby. The day of the session I went to her in home studio and was able to pick from a few of her beautiful gowns and begin our session. I didn't think I could love these photos anymore than my initial nursing session, but she proved me wrong. Saying Sabrena is passionate about her work would be an understatement. When I got to the studio, Sabrena was amazing! We immediately hit it off. She made me feel so comfortable, despite my initial reservations. Having had a baby the previous year, I wasn't sure I would look "perfect." Sabrena showed me a picture on her camera at one point, and I exclaimed, "I don't look like anyone's mother!" We literally laughed the entire two hours. I cannot believe that taking pictures in lingerie could be so much fun! When we got together to select the final pictures, I was amazed at Sabrena's talent. Working with KHP and her all-star team is not just a professional photography session but an experience that allows you to feel good about yourself and have that self shine in a way that feels completely authentic to you. I've had the pleasure of working with Olympia twice now -- once when I needed professionally styled headshots quite quickly for an upcoming feature/publication and once for a lifestyle shoot. To say that their product is top notch is an understatement -- no detail goes unthought of...from styling, hair and makeup, lighting, vision...and it all comes together with this fun, carefree, beautiful experience, working in their studio (and having fun as well) that makes this team worth every penny. They make it feel effortless. They also manage to compress entire sessions and selection process into short time span (though you wont feel rushed) ...genuinely, the work they do in terms of studio time would take most an entire day. A few months back, I logged into a Zoom call and noticed that my awesome headshots from that session didn't really look like me at all anymore. In this post-Covid lockdown world, as we might be tip-toeing slowly and carefully back to the world of in-person meetings and conferences, using an old headshot felt like a little bit of "bait and switch!" Let's face it, hair is longer, skin is still fabulous, but...I'm OLDER. Still awesome, still sassy, but I needed an update. This time I worked with the fabulous Olympia Roll (and again, why on earth would you make this investment without the professional makeup add-on specifically for the photographer?) who "got me" from the first minute. One thing I especially love is the super light touch on touchups and post-processing. These pictures look like me, not an air-brushed, over-filtered, a little too pose-y overly contrived version of me. Now I need to either write a book or run for office (or both! ha!) because she gave me photos that make me look and feel like a BOSS. Thank you!

I am a writer and my first book (a YA novel) is coming out in the fall. I didn't want to include my pic on the book, but the publisher insisted. He also insisted on a professional pic. I chose Kelly after seeing her great Yelp reviews. And she has earned all the praise, and more! Even before I met her for the photo shoot, she was awesome-- kind, responsive, helpful, warm (and sometimes it's hard to be all that just over email). We ended up meeting at Overlook Park in GT for the shoot, and she encouraged me to bring an extra outfit if I wanted to change (b/c I got 2 different poses). Not only is she just as nice, warm, kind, gracious, and attentive in person, she is incredibly skilled as well. She put me at ease SO quickly (I was SO nervous, y'all!! I'm a writer b/c I want to stay hidden in my words...i don't want pics of me!), and before I knew it, I was actually having fun!! I couldn't believe it. That is a gift Kelly has, knowing what each person needs and then being able to adapt accordingly. I'm so grateful I met her. So the shoot was great, but then I got the proof gallery with SO many shots I loved (it was hard to select just 2, much to my amazement...I had thought I'd have trouble picking one b/c I typically hate pics of myself). So that process was awesome, and then she sent me the edited shots and I marveled at her great skill as an artist. Really, she has such an eye for the art of photography at every single level. I am so happy with the pics, and my publisher is too (and I've gotten compliments on them from others on social media, etc.). Yay and thank you, Kelly! I am telling all my writer friends about you, and you will be the only photographer I will ever call. I appreciate you sharing your talent with me and making something that could have been hugely stressful for me actually fun and productive, and leaving me with a product I really LOVE. We used Kelly Cameron Photography for our engagement photos a few months ago and for our wedding…read morepictures earlier this month. We found Kelly online by accident and are so thrilled that we did! We met with Kelly to go over budget and our vision for our pictures at the beginning of the year. Not only did Kelly work with our budget but she drove down to Houston (where we live and work like crazy) to take our engagement pictures! She helped us with our unique vision for those pictures and the results were amazing! For our wedding Kelly came early and stayed late. She put up with the heat and got every shot we wanted, all by herself. She wrangled our family and friends and was friendly but professional the whole time. She worked well with our videographer, whom she had never met. WIthin 24 hours she had sneak peeks of our pictures up- and when I say sneak peeks, I mean 160 beautiful, perfect pictures ready to go! The rest are supposed to be ready within the month. I can't wait to see what she has for us! I highly recommend Kelly for any occasion, but especially if you want beautiful and creative wedding or engagement pictures. Kelly loves love and it shows in her pictures!
