They make you feel as if you're family from the minute they meet you. Booking the venue was an easy process and very straightforward. Anything we needed Jani was just a simple text or email away. She was also very quick to respond! Both of them are so nice, genuine, and loving people. You can really tell that they care about their guests. In regards to the venue itself, it is extremely well kept. In fact every time we made a visit we would see Shon work on it. Chairs and tables were provided and the chairs were so nice that we used it for both the ceremony and reception. The bridal suite is huge and it allowed my bridesmaids, both moms, hair stylists and makeup artists to work and get ready comfortably. We had our ceremony and reception outside and absolutely loved the fact that we were able to separate each event on the upper and lower lawn. There is so much space that it really allows you to plan a wedding where events can just flow from one space to the next vs having guests be in the same area that your coordinators are breaking down or setting up things that you would want behind the scenes. We definitely recommend Garden Grove as your venue of choice. You will not be disappointed!

(The space would also work well for a small or average size wedding.) The grounds are painstakingly maintained, and the landscaping is beautiful. As wedding photographers, we are always looking for great spots to take bridal and couples' photos, and Garden Grove has a lot of them. In addition, the bridal suite is quite spacious to allow for a dozen or so bridesmaids. (Believe me -- one of the most stressful pre-wedding activities can be getting ready with tons of bridesmaids in a tight space -- but the bridal suite at Garden Grove allows plenty of room so you don't get cramped. Also, so many mirrors! It is a pleasure to photograph weddings at Garden Grove, and we hope to be back soon.

Fast forward to 2023 & I find myself in need of some things after breaking my ankle. After spending too much money on things and needing things that weren't so easy to find, I turned to these fine people at AGE for help. They provided me with the much needed elevated leg rests for my wheelchair and an extra walker bc it's not so easy to drag those things around when you're using a scooter. Cindy was the best! I'm very happy that they helped me when I needed it. They take donations, so if you have some unused medical equipment, check with them to see if there is a need. I know they work with some other organizations that provide similar services if they aren't accepting a particular item.

The play areas are open and provide a lot of space for imagination and active movement. I went with a 3 year old and a 15 month old and felt safe letting both of them explore. There was a nice toddler/infant space nook that we spent some time in reading books and playing. One of their gems was their front desk (manager?) I should have asked her name- if the owners are reading this she's very sweet (blonde, mentioned having a blended family.) she was friendly, helpful, informative, and exceptionally kind to the children. We loved her Elsa hair style! A front facing person in a business is so important with these kids play areas, it is a big deciding factor on whether we will come back often. She is a MAJOR reason I am willing to make the trek here from Tarrytown. I loved that both bathrooms were clean and had functioning changing tables. But, the biggest thing my three year old nanny kid enjoyed was the hot chocolate station. His mind was blown with the whipped cream, sprinkles, marshmallows. If he could write a review he'd probably give it a million stars. We will be back!

The odor was so intense that many guests noticed it and commented on it during the celebration. It was genuinely uncomfortable and took attention away from what should have been an unforgettable day for the newlyweds. For a venue that charges premium prices for weddings, it is unacceptable to encounter such a serious maintenance problem. No matter how beautiful the venue may look in photographs, the unpleasant smell made it impossible to fully enjoy the experience. If you are considering booking Stone Hall, I strongly recommend visiting in person and paying close attention to the condition of the facilities before signing any contract. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing, and I would not choose this venue again for a wedding.

UPDATE: We just read Christina's review. Yikes. Didn't know one couldn't research vendors, that a…read morepotential host had to use one only allowed by Moya the owner. Not good. Christina also confirmed this in her review, you HAVE to use one of MOYA's vendors. So sorry, Christina, for your horrible experience at Springdale Station, and for getting ripped off. We ALSO definitely do NOT recommend Springdale Station! Honest review for those considering this as a venue: The indoor space is very SMALL. It is not a good location for a large amount of guests. You will find three rooms inside (one with some stairs that are required to access it). The foyer serves as one of these rooms, so once you make it through the line to get inside, you are inside one of the three small rooms! The event we attended was very crowded and everyone was bumping into each other. Again, in OUR experience, this is NOT a good venue for a large group of people. The outside has a very small patio, with a LARGE amount of dirt. Definitely not a good location for anything even slightly dressy. Something casual, cowboy-like, perhaps a kids' casual party...those might work. The dirt area is large. (And VERY dirty!) We came home with dirt up to our calves. Gross! Keep this in mind, and check this out thoroughly before signing any contract with Moya. Buyer beware!!! Outside seating on the small patio was extremely limited. Literally only ONE sofa. Moya needs to addressed this. Would be nice if guests could actually sit down. Ridiculously inhospitable! We have attended several events in Austin, this one is only suitable for a super casual OUTDOOR event. (And hopefully it is priced accordingly...). Again, please prepare to get dirty if the weather is dry, and if it rains you will have muddy shoes. If you wear any type of heel, you will sink into their wet mud. Again, this is another item that Moya still needs to address. (Hello? GREATLY enlarge that tiny patio!). Good grief. Last issue - parking. Many other reviewers have also mentioned this. The parking lot was large, but it was (is) shared by other businesses so finding an actual parking spot was very difficult. Highly recommend if you have to go to Springdale Station that you use a taxi, (etc.) to get there and back. Again, research thoroughly before committing. There are so many other decent venues in Austin, we don't know why anyone would pick this one!
