I was quick to retort "well why didn't you tell me this the other times?". She quickly replied "I *did* tell you those other times!" So, long story short here I am almost a year later and no allergies or sinus infections since even starting the allergy shots (and they don't start at full strength when you begin the shots). I can't begin to tell you guys how much gratitude I have, from the bottom of my heart, to Dr. Resh for pushing me to get them. I honestly just thought she was another one of those doctors trying to get increased fees from my insurance company but it turns out she's actually altruistic. If that's not a good enough review, she even has Keurig pods available for your enjoyment while you're waiting. The receptionist, Lucy, is also one of the sweetest people on the face of the earth. Oh, and one last thing: while I was going through a really bad marriage separation, Cat, one of the medical assistants, was so incredibly empathetic with me and asked how I was doing every single time I came in and just offered advice when I asked her about it. She really helped me more than you can imagine. To everyone at Dr. Resh's office, thank you for being you and making me feel special.

We also never met Dr. Gaglani in the entire two years we were with her practice. We were only ever seen by nurses.

BEWARE OF BILLING PRACTICES! I had an annual checkup, received my bill, and paid it. Then I…read morereceived another bill for a "nasal endoscopy" which was more than my checkup. When I inquired about the additional charge, I was told that looking in my nose was not included in the annual checkup because they used a device with a light. WHAT? How is looking in my nose NOT included as part of an annual allergy checkup? The doctor spent 2 seconds looking in each nostril and they charged me an additional $387!!!! VERY SKETCHY BILLING PRACTICES. After 4 years, I will never go back, nor recommend. The response below clearly shows they are fully aware of what they are doing. Not informing a patient that simply looking in your nose will be considered a separate charge and not giving that patient the full knowledge that they can refuse it BEFORE it is done IS deceptive and wrong. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!!!

I have been a patient at Aspire Allergy & Sinus (South Austin) since 2022, and unfortunately my…read moreexperience has been a range of excellent medical care and extremely frustrating care, billing and communication issues. On the positive side, I underwent sinus procedures with Dr. Thompson, and those results remain excellent after 3+years. However, my allergy treatment experience has been a completely different story. After testing positive to 55 out of 60 common Central Texas allergens, I spent three years on allergy drops with little to no improvement. During that time, I made numerous office visits and so many calls to the nurse line because I continued to struggle with significant symptoms. Most of the recommendations seemed to involve trying additional OTC antihistamines or yet another prescription nasal spray, including one that cost me $125 out of pocket. The only provider who consistently seemed invested in finding solutions and showed genuine concern for my situation was Dr. Overstreet. After three years without meaningful improvement, I decided to try Aspire's eXACT treatment. I paid $2,500 out of pocket because I was told insurance would not cover it. My understanding was that this fee covered three treatment sessions and a follow-up appointment three months after last shot. I was also told that if the treatment was unsuccessful, the series could be repeated at NO additional charge. This made the cost a little more bearable. My eXACT treatment appointments were paid for and all 4 were scheduled in advance during my annual visit in October 2025. I completed the series in January, and attended my follow-up appointment in April 2026 specifically to discuss whether the treatment had been successful. Unfortunately, I experienced no relief and actually endured one of my worst allergy seasons yet. During that follow-up visit with Anna Wendel, we discussed repeating the treatment at a higher dose. Because of symptoms I described, the provider wanted to rule out asthma before proceeding, so I was asked to complete a breathing test. At no point was I informed that this test would result in additional charges to me or my insurance company. I was shocked when I later saw a claim submitted to my insurance for more than $500 and then I received a bill from Aspire for approximately $160. When I contacted billing, Bailey was professional, helpful, and responsive. However, after reviewing the situation with the clinic, I was told that the visit had been coded as a problem-focused visit rather than the follow-up appointment that had been scheduled 6 months in advance as part of my treatment plan. I was promised a call from the office manager to discuss the situation. Almost a month later, I have yet to receive that call. Over the past 3+ years, I have spent well over $15,000 between insurance payments and out-of-pocket costs pursuing relief through Aspire. What disappoints me most is NOT that a treatment failed--medicine is not guaranteed--but that I was charged for services that I reasonably understood to be part of a pre-arranged treatment follow-up, and when I questioned it, communication stopped. I had my last shot today from the 2nd round of treatment and will never return to Aspire, nor will I pay a fraudulent invoice. I would not be writing this review if someone had simply addressed the concern, and admitted to the mistake in the coding of my visit and the billing of my insurance company when this was all marketed as covered in the $2500 eXACT one time fee. IMO these exude unprofessional and fraudulent behaviors. I encourage prospective patients to thoroughly research both the clinical and billing experiences (specifically BBB & Google reviews) before committing to long-term treatment at Aspire, as I am now learning this seems to be a normal practice of incorrect billing and ignoring their patient's calls.

I made an appointment with Dr. Peter's based on my insurance members positive reviews.. I arrived a 8:45 for a 9:00 am showtime.. 9:01 Dr. Peter's walked in, introduced himself, sat down and asked me how I was. I immediately went into my 9 month Covid spiel, naming all the meds, infusions, and breathing treatments.. Whoa, hang on a sec, Dr Peters says let's back up .. He asked me where I worked, what I did, where I was raised, and my past experiences with allergies, surgery's that may be lung or allergy related, and what other medications I may be taking over the counter.. I'm not a sickly person, but I've been to my share of doctors. 98 percent of them want the quickest rundown you can give them so they can give you meds and move on to the next victim.. Not only did Doctor Peters spend time gathering a complete understanding of my situation, he took the time putting the pieces of what I'd shared with him, then gave me a detailed explanation of what he believed was going on with me.. What a privilege to meet with a doctor who actually listened to me, genuinely assessed my situation, then gave explicit instructions I need to take moving forward.. Aside from that his approach is down to earth, engaging, and his staff is equally so.. If you're looking for the sterile, generic, and stuffy atmosphere,, you'll be greatly disappointed!!!

I've been going here for years, and this clinic has infuriated me ever since I started coming…read moreregularly for allergy shots. I won't go into long details, but in short, and in no particular order: - the techs doing the shots are highly variable in their abilities. Some are lovely. Most will squeeze the living bejeebus out of your arm (I swear they leave more bruises than the needles themselves) and then wonder why you're flinching. PLEASE give better training. - the techs assume you magically know your schedule and doses of shots. They'll change your schedule and just assume that you know it, based on the color of your vial. Communication ... not so great. - Dr. Cooke was specifically recommended to me for being super detail oriented. Hmm? I had an actual near-death experience with drywall dust that he was super dismissive of, but thankfully I found a pulmonologist who was extremely helpful and understanding. He showed zero knowledge about air filtration, which seems important for reducing allergies. And the appointments are honestly so weird and creepy, looking at the color of my snot on random appointment days and touching all over my face with bare hands. - nobody answers voicemails - cool! I was traveling for 3 months and was proactive to discuss this with several people before going, since it would put a pause in my shots. Every person I spoke to gave different advice and didn't even follow their own guidance. They ordered my new vials two months early. There's just zero consistency or communication, which is stressful. - the waiting room is typically a disaster. People on their phones, watching videos with the volume turned up, sneezing and coughing galore with nobody bothering to wear masks... it's gross. I prefer to sit on the floor in the hallway to find peace and quiet, since nobody cares to make this room a nice atmosphere while you're waiting for shots and held for 30 minutes after. Since I've been a patient so long I feel trapped here, since I assume changing clinics would mean I need to start over. And I do like two of the shot-techs, out of the maybe 15 I have seen. But to know I will dread an hour a month to come here for shots, plus icky and unhelpful appointments... this is simply not a nice place.

The good: Kristen Malone, PA-C was incredibly helpful for my son. She quickly identified why his…read moreallergy tests were not yielding any useful results - he needed a turbinate reduction and he had a concha bullosa crowding his nasal passage, that he would always complain felt like "something up (his) nose." My son and my husband scheduled my son's procedure. They understood it would both reduce the turbinate(s) and get rid of the concha bullosa, because the bullosa had clearly become an obstacle to clear breathing. The bad: To prep for the procedure, my husband called and asked if my son would need to fast. He was told no. We took them at their word! My son went with my husband and was told they'd just be doing the turbinate reduction, since he should have been fasting if he wanted them to also deal with the concha bullosa. Not only that, but Dr. Thompson said the concha wouldn't be dealt with for another 6 months. To add insult to injury, the post-procedure directions he was given made no sense...because they were for something entirely different. Why? This cannot be that hard. We're following up with Kristen Malone (not Dr. Thompson) to understand where the breakdown in communication was, but I highly recommend you double-check what procedures they *think* they are doing before you go in. If it turns out this was a miscommunication, then their mismanagement means my kiddo missed out on some critical care. He's in high school and hates missing days. His dentist even hoped improved breathing will help with another issue. It's a bitter pill to swallow, to say we went through all that and didn't get the medical procedure we'd been told to expect. Overall, it appears the office is mismanaged; the left hand isn't talking to the right. Be forewarned.

I've been a patient of Dr. Cook's for more than five years, but I've stopped seeing him due to the…read morerudeness of his office staff and due to new office policies that treat people not as patients, but as delinquent debtors. Dr. Cook recently joined the national conglomerate Allergy Partners and patient care has suffered as a result. This office now blocks patients from receiving medical treatment if they have so much as a $20 payment late by even a week or two. They will not allow patients to receive medical care until they've paid up. This happened to me today. They also report patients to credit agencies without so much as a phone call to inform them that they've done so - in my case, I'd moved cities during the pandemic and a bill was apparently mailed to my old address. I didn't learn of the bill until years later when I moved back to Austin. When I wrote office staff to make sure I'd paid it off, I received no response for months, only to visit the office for an allergy shot and learn that I was blocked from receiving care due to that years-old bill I'd done everything I could to pay. Office staff has been extremely unsympathetic to the emotional impact of their new policies. I was a longstanding patient; I paid my bills; I had a good relationship with my doctor. And yet every visit for the past several months I've been made to feel like I'm trying to cheat their office, in front of an entire waiting room full of people (sidenote: allergy shot wait times have ballooned since the corporate transition, requiring at least an hour out of the workweek). It should speak volumes that someone with severe allergies at the height of allergy season has decided to stop seeing their longtime doctor because of these unfeeling office policies.
