Thankfully I found Mina for my first spray tan, because she is fantastic! I got married in May & went for a practice tan first. Mina's studio is private, and she completely leaves you at ease with the whole process. Since I am a redhead, she started with a lighter shade & let me decide whether or not I wanted to go darker. I chose to go darker, & it looked amazing. Not only does she help you select a natural shade, Mina is an artist with the spray gun and contours your body for a totally natural look. Both my practice & wedding tan turned out beautifully. The next day my co-workers asked if I'd been going to the tanning bed! I feel so much more confident & look ten times better in summer clothes, plus my wedding pictures are great! I decided to try Custom Air Brush Tanning on a whim since I have a beach trip coming up, just to see how it would look. I was really concerned that it would look completely fake, I'd shower and it would leave my skin streaky, I'd smell for days, etc. None of those things happened. Mina made me feel 100% comfortable from the second I walked in the door. Really even before that. The day before my appointment, she sent me a message to remind me of the appointment and a few instructions: how to prep my skin, what I should bring to wear during the tanning process, and what to wear after. When I arrived, she asked me what I was looking for, my experience with tanning, etc. She gave me privacy to change, and then she got started. The result was a very natural, healthy looking tan. As a previous reviewer stated, she also gave me a little extra on the tops of my arms to give it a more natural look. My first tan lasted about one week, fading gradually over time. Bottom line, Mina is extremely professional, detail oriented, and very, very good at her job. I will be back soon, and any time I want to experience the tan side of life.

However, they are rarely if ever pushy. Usually I come in for an individual tan, often when they run specials, and the staff are very nice and welcoming. Also, I have only had to wait more than a couple minutes one time. Many times I come in there's no line and no wait for a bed. I have strayed from this location a couple of times and been disappointed. I'll stick to here from now on!

While I was in the bed, I could tell something didn't feel right with the timing. I lifted the bed early, only to see the timer was already over 9 minutes and still running. Afterward, I went to my spray tan room, but when I passed by the same tanning room a few minutes later, the bed was still running. That's a serious safety concern and should never happen. When we arrived, no one introduced the stylist or mentioned any change. My daughter was taken back, and we went through the entire appointment under the impression she was with Christina. The haircut itself was not what was requested. My daughter brought reference photos, but the bangs were cut far too short and uneven, and the layering was incorrect. It was only after we left that I realized the stylist was not Christina at all. The business card we were handed when leaving said "Bailey," who isn't even listed on their website. The lack of transparency is unacceptable. If a client books with a specific stylist, they should be clearly informed of any changes beforehand. We would not have booked this appointment otherwise. To make matters worse, I reached out to the salon via email weeks ago to resolve this and never received any response. No acknowledgment, no follow-up, nothing. This appointment was for my daughter's birthday, which makes the experience even more disappointing.
