Today I took the bra into the store, prepared to show my bloody marks, but there was no interest in seeing what I suffered. What was of interest: "Have you been here before? What is your name: you purchased in May; Chantelle has been in business for 150 years, I have worked 18 years in lingerie; don't get complaints, this is a personal problem. I recall you spend a fair amount with Chantelle. There is nothing we can do." From the getgo, I mentioned I am not looking for a refund - all I wanted was advice, could the silicon perhaps be disinnegrating , could the company change the elastic strapping that is covered with silicon? Instead of throwing this bra out after wearing for only a few hours, you can imagine how I feel about the received "customer service" which I wish to share. I was able to locate the e-mail address of Chantelle's Customer Services whom I wish to inform about the situation and will send them a picture of my wounds, caused by the silicon straps. Last night I was desperately searching the internet for a bikini. It's a constant struggle finding a bikini top that properly supports and gives structure to my "girls". Victoria's Secret is usually my best bet, but they've cut back on their swimwear and also a lot of them expose too much cleavage. I picked a bikini off Ashley's site and went to pick it up today. I want to say, top notch customer service here! Very friendly staff, and adequately staffed to keep up with helping all customers. Need help in the fitting room? Just crack your door open and they will help. I loveddddd the bikini I order. It was so beautiful! But once again the top didn't do me justice. One of the girls tried to help me. She had me try hooking the straps and they sell inserts there too. But it just didn't work out. Fortunately, I found another bikini that was just perfect!! In addition to struggling with tops, I needed something to match a sheer pink and yellow 2 piece cover up and I found this beautiful scalloped bikini that was of the best structure. It held my girls just right without exposing much cleavage and was just really adorable and I'm so excited to wear it. The manager or owner (not sure but I know she was in charge) was really nice and helpful as well. I actually stopped here twice in one day and both experiences were wonderful! I'm so happy I found a great bikini for my upcoming vacation. BTW they have tonnsss of swimwear, bras, panties, undergarment accessories, robes, PJs and coverups and a few other things. The prices are on the upside, but I know at least with my bikini I trust its quality was surely worth it. TIP: They are most stocked with swimwear around April/May!

I went in seeking a swimsuit that had the coverage of a bra, so I could feel comfortable on vacation. I wanted a one-piece or tankini swimsuit with an underwire, bra-style band, and padded cups (not just flimsy inserts that provide no support or lift) that would provide nipple coverage. They did not have a single option that fit these requirements. Instead, I was given swimsuits that didn't even have an underwire and/or bra-style band and told I would be "surprised by the level of support they had." The bathing suits provided absolutely no support, which anyone could have guessed.... I wanted a bathing suit top with at least some padded nipple coverage (which feels like common sense for bathing suits and being in and out of the water!!) and the fitter seemed genuinely surprised that I cared about that. Every time I go, I have the same issue. I don't understand why they refuse to stock more than a handful of padded bras or padded swimsuits that provide nipple coverage and don't have countless seams showing through my t-shirt. There's no way that I'm the only customer that wants additional coverage and doesn't want the seams from cupless bras (and my nipples!) showing through my shirt. I'm not even looking for cute prints or colors, just a simple bra or bathing suit in speciality sizing that provides sufficient support and coverage. This feels like something many women would also want, and it's very disappointing that the store seems to refuse to carry any significant stock that fills those criteria. The fitter claimed they didn't have the ability to stock the types of swimsuits I was looking for, but looking around at the displays filled strapless bikinis and non-bra related goods like clothing and bags, it seems like they are choosing to prioritize non-bra items and standard sizes rather than the specialty bra sizes and fuller coverage items that many women in WNY depend on. It feels like every time I leave this store, I leave disappointed because their stock of speciality sizes is so limited in its variety and level of support/coverage. If you're dependent on speciality or non-department store sizing and especially if you have low volume breasts, it's very difficult to recommend this store, even though I wish I could. We need better specialty sizing bra options in Buffalo.

All I wanted to do was exchange it for exactly the same one, same size, etc. The sales associate said she couldn't exchange it for me today because their computers had crashed and the exchange had to be done through the computer. I noted that the damaged bikini top was just going to go in the 'damaged' pile anyway so why does it matter whether it has to go through the computer, etc. She went on to say that the computer might not be up and running for a few days so I could come back at a later date. I even offered to leave her my original receipt so she could take care of it when the computer was back up and running. Nope, sorry, can't do that. Uggghhh. Went straight to the Pen Centre store and got the exchange done, NO PROBLEM! She just did a straight exchange. NO COMPUTER TRANSACTION REQUIRED. When I told her my experience at the outlet mall she was astonished to hear that they said they couldn't do the exchange for me. Needless to say I will NOT be returning to the outlet La Vie store again!

Heading in my mother was filled with trepidation and fear, in considering what the store could/would do for her. I have to say that immediately any fears were put aside for the amazing staff of this store-they were so kind and so amazing with my Mom that instantly she was calm and comfortable in moving forward in temporary prosthesis and towards the inevitable more permanent one. They really made something so hard and difficult easy. I wish I could give them 100 stars. She should've asked if I needed help immediately and she should've WALKED me to the right spot and help me to find what I was looking for.
