I brought my car to Norris Automotive because it was local and my vehicle had to be towed. From the very beginning, this turned into one of the most frustrating and dishonest service experiences I have ever had. I was told my car was flooded, needed a tune up and a new battery. The estimate was already steep at $600, but since the car was already there, I agreed, thinking at least the work would be done properly. Then I get the call that car is ready, the total is now $705. Annoying, but I stayed hopeful that the extra cost meant quality work. I was wrong. I pick up my car, pay the bill, and the receipt says I was charged for new spark plugs and a new battery. That's it?? When I get home, I pop the hood and to my surprise, the same corroded battery is still sitting there. On top of that, my engine cover is now cracked, something that was not damaged when I dropped the car off. I call immediately. Ryan puts me on hold and comes back with, "If you come back tomorrow, we will put the battery in." No explanation. No apology. No accountability for charging me for work that clearly was not done. At that moment, all trust was gone. I would not trust this shop to put air in my tires. I told them I wanted my battery money refunded. Ryan says I have to bring my card back in. On the drive over, I notice I was also charged an environmental and supply fee, something I would understand if they had actually replaced and disposed of a battery, but they did not. When I walk in, Ryan tries to play it casual and asks for my card. I ask him directly, "So I am paying $500 for four spark plugs?" He looks me dead in the eye and says yes, $110 for the spark plugs and $290 for labor. Oh, you mean the same labor that was supposed to include installing the battery they never installed. Absolutely unbelievable. I also ask about the environmental fee, he only offers half back.. Wtf? This place charged me for work that was not done, damaged my vehicle, raised the price after the fact, and offered no reasoning other than it was "an honest mistake". So you admit you have no quality control? If you value your money, your car, and your peace of mind, do not go here. Receipts of initial battery charge and refund attached. Stay clear.

From the moment the driver arrived, the situation was handled poorly. He came with a rude and unprofessional attitude. He did not greet my brother or communicate respectfully; he simply demanded the key. He also told my brother to move the vehicle in an abrupt way and nearly caused an accident because he was trying to force the tow truck into position instead of communicating properly ahead of time. I had already explained that the issue with my vehicle was the belt, but the driver still attempted to turn the car on. If a vehicle is being towed, there is NO REASON to try to start it, especially after being told what the issue is. His actions could have caused further damage. When loading my vehicle, he also attempted to move it while it was still in gear and handbrake, which could have potentially damaged the transmission. He also made rude comments and uncomfortable jokes about were my brother was standing while he loaded the vehicle , he was incapable of communicating safety measures in a respectful way. After arriving to the car shop the driver also refused to return the key at first and responded with attitude in a very dismissive manner. He eventually gave it back, but only after acting as if he was trying to close the door on my brother... On top of that, my family witnessed him driving extremely fast while towing my vehicle. On the highway, he was going approximately 80 to 90 mph, and even on smaller streets he continued driving too fast. My family was following in a Jeep and could barely keep up with the tow truck. There was no reason for this driver to act the way he did. His behavior was completely out of line in every aspect. If he was rushing to get to other destinations, then he needs proper training on how to deal with pressure, customer service manners, and most importantly, safety when handling a vehicle being towed. Driving way above the speed limit while towing my vehicle and being rude to my brother and my family is unacceptable. He took my tire that was damaged out, showed me the nail that was in it, and said he'd try to find a similar tire. It took him about 5 minutes to find one. He brought it out and showed it to me and allowed me to inspect it and see if it was up to my standard. I liked that extra step because it made me feel confident in Reed's reputation. It was very reasonable and I felt really taken care of in a stressful situation.
