I'm moving on up to the bay area so, with a car full of stuff on tow and a hungry belly, I was so ready for lunch! Thank goodness for this gem in this sleepy little town! Arrived around 11am, saw the pretty pink sign, and headed right on in. This spot was so incredibly cozy. Nice comfortable seating and a warm and inviting spirit. The woman up front was also very warm and kind. Totally loved the vibes. Prices were right too! We were happy to peruse the menu and see lovely reasonable prices.' And for the price, the quality was great! We got 6 tacos and a torta. The tacos were great and flavorful. Made my favorite way with onion, cilantro, and salsa. So simple, but so perfect! BUT THE TORTA! It was out of this world. The bread was perfectly flakey and delicious. Totally made with lots of love and lots of flavor. Can't forget to mention, they started us off with chips, salsa, and refied beans. Such a great little come up! Great and impromptu visit to Aurora's. Great little spot with tons of charm. read more

HOLY DELICIOUSNESS!!! Seriously, this place serves the most amazing Mexican food I've EVER had! Between the 3 of us we had Chiles Rellenos, crispy Tacos De Tinga (Chipotle Chicken-all breast meat), Birria De Borrego Taco (gorgeous chunks of lamb), and soft, corn, house made tortillas. If I had more room I would have had so much more.! We will for sure be back!! We got to meet Aurora and her lovely husband and the woman cooking and serving was pretty darn sweet and soooo adorable! I enjoyed a delicious chili relleno and chicken enchilada. Both were slightly different than others I've had. The enchilada was clearly a chef's personal recipe. Instead of the usual red enchilada sauce it was topped with a small amount of a thicker red sauce and fresh lettuce and tomatoes. I think I'll try more of their offerings. read more

Handmade with love! Super fresh and delicious. Would highly recommend. We had an array of tacos from chicharon and carnitas to barbacoa, carne asada, and even pescado. They were all super fresh and cooked to perfection with handmade tortillas. Please! Please! Do yourself a favor and steer clear of the fast food near you when you can get better quality food at Aurora's . Was looking for food nearby wanting tacos but not from Taco Bell or JNB so we googled tacos and found this cute little restaurant. A little restaurant on our way to northern CA was a HUGE surprise! Loved every bite of my sope, my husband loved his tacos. It tasted homemade and was told that all the food is made fresh nothing is frozen, and you can taste it! Served with a very happy smile! The food here is delicious and the people working here are really sweet. If you're making the drive up or down the 5, it's definitely worth it to take the 5 minute detour and stop here. On my way to Palo Alto, kids wanted fast food. So after getting them what teens eat, I stopped at Auroras. Did not disappoint. I tried 3 tacos, tinga, pastor and asada. So fresh and flavorful. The salsa is on point. Homemade, which adds layers of flavor. Service is quick and friendly. After savoring the 3 tacos, had to order another pastor and asada. Amazing chicken burritos! I definitely recommend this restaurant very highly. It is not too far off of the 5 freeway. You can call your order in and they will have it ready for you. Very clean place with a welcoming staff. All of the food looks delicious. They had our food nicely wrapped so it wouldn't get cold. We called in about 10 minutes before we arrived. read more
