I hate to be submitting this review because I enjoy supporting local artists. However, I'm genuinely at a loss on what other avenues to take. The goal of this review is to protect others from getting into a similar situation as my current--this photographer, Aurora, owner of Wild at Hart Imagery, having photos of me (and my friend) and not releasing them or responding to any form of communication. Not to mention the paid sitting fees, the time, the energy, the outfits, and the gas it took to drive to Magalia. All things I was willing to pay in exchange for high-quality photos. Unfortunately, Aurora didn't hold her end of the bargain. SHE NEVER SENT THE PHOTOS -- I was ready to pay several hundred dollars to have her edit the entire session of photos. Please execute caution before booking this photographer. Her website looks professional, and her photos are pretty -- her communication skills are sub-par, and, it's likely, you'll never see your photos. I wish I'd been warned, so consider this my warning. My heart is broken, these photos marked a milestone and were very sentimental to us, and unfortunately, there is nothing I can do to fix it. I have nothing to capture that moment in our life because Aurora decided we weren't worthy of communication and receiving our end product. I hired Aurora for an elopement photoshoot in December of 2021. She was extremely friendly and a great photographer, but her communication with her clients was disappointing and unprofessional. In the contract, she gave us a 2-week turnaround time for our pictures and we did not receive them until April 2022. She went no contact for about 2 months after our shoot, saying there was a delay because of family issues. I wanted to be understanding of her situation so badly but the fact I had to reach out several times asking for my pictures was just frustrating and unprofessional. I reached out to her multiple times on many platforms as well. She took down her website during the time I was trying to contact her. I noticed in April her website was running again and she began uploading other photoshoots before contacting me back. I was very worried that I was not only going to lose my money, but the only pictures we had from the elopement. I heavily considered seeking a lawyer. The pictures turned out nice, but her severe communication issues were 100% not worth the stress. read more

We had a nice experience at Table Mountain. There were lots of people and she was able to edit the background to get the crowd out of the photos, to allow our eyes to be away from looking at the sun. The photos are beautiful. She definitely has talent! Can't beat the price. We'll be seeing her again in the fall! read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Aurora photographed my best friends wedding and was very UNPROFESSIONAL. She had a paid for plane ticket to Las Vegas. To photograph her "family's" wedding. She left half way through the reception. Once she got home, told my friend she would have her photos soon and we have yet to receive them after her "computer and hard drive won't work". She refuses to respond to anyone's calls or texts getting a status. Mind you the wedding was in January 2018. My advice is use a different company to ensure you get your photos back and maybe write your own contract just Incase. Such a shame because we love her photos that she's taken and she won't send the pictures of someone's best day ever even unedited. We just want the pictures. read more

I have done business with AHP since September 2017. She has done all of my husband and I's photos. We started with our engagement shoot, pregnancy announcement, gender reveal, and maternity photos. Now we have her booked for our Birth Announcement & Newborn session in a week. She has constantly blown us away with her photos and professionalism. Aurora goes above and beyond for clients. If I could give no stars I would. I have chosen not to post a review for a long time but I'm no longer going to hold off because I hope what she did to me will never happen to anyone else. I got married January 28th, 2018 in Las Vegas I had aurora come down to Las Vegas to do my wedding photos. We had this agreement for a long time and she was a family friend and also best friends with my sister in law at the time. So I trusted she'd do an amazing job and deliver my photos in a timely manner. I was WRONG! It has been a whole year and 7 months later and we still haven't received our wedding photos. She kept me running around with all these excuses as to why I won't receive them and never showed proof her computer and hard drive crashed and she told me she was having someone look at it for a quote for it to be repaired. I continued to follow up with her for a year and she then stop replying to me! I have been beyond patient and nothing but kind to her but I'm done. Aurora, I want you to know that because of you and you not delivering my photos I will now envy every wedding I go to because they will have photos to remember their day and I will NEVER have mine. My wedding was beautiful and the best day of my life. She has been sooo unprofessional and unapologetic and at one point even said that MY wedding was the worst day of her life. Sooooo I would NEVER recommend her to anyone for the rest of my life! read more
