Something of this nature should be mentioned explicitly over the phone when making an appt as a new patient. Anything that involves the well-being of a child should be communicated upfront rather than discovered through an online form.

I thought maybe she's getting more clients so she's more busy. That doesn't excuse being rude to children. My daughter normally went in fine, but the past couple times she's wanted me to go in. I usually persuade her then she's okay and goes in. THIS TIME HOWEVER I asked to go back. They made it seem as though it would be an option, but when Dr. Moss came to get her she very bluntly (but pretending to be nice) said we've done this before, let's do this! I was thrown off, otherwise I would've cancelled the appointment right then and there. She proceeds to take my daughter who is going, but slightly resisting & she says "I'm not going to drag you! You gotta walk!" So I'm already getting annoyed. I told the staff member next time to just tell us no because I'd rather her not be expecting that I go with. (Now that I look back on it I had every right to be back there!) The receptionist seemed like she was anticipating I would of been able to to back and wasn't sure what happened. I also explained that I didn't appreciate her demeanor towards my daughter. She said she would bring it up to Dr. Moss. Time passes & my daughter said she had 2 parts of the cavity filling she hated. 1. The tool they used to open her mouth. Totally understandable it's uncomfortable. 2. Something she really hated but didn't want to tell me. I finally get it out of her, she said Dr. Moss PUT HER HAND OVER HER MOUTH while she was loudly crying and told her to stop screaming it's rude! You do not get to essentially rip my child away from me & reprimand her by putting your hand on her for crying when I had requested to go with in the first place. If a child is not cooperating you refer to the parent! It broke my heart when I told her I'm sorry that happened to her & she said "now I know not to scream" wtf are you trying to teach my kid. I said no baby you can cry if something is bothering you. Do we cover babies mouths when they cry & it hurts our ears? No Do we cover our teachers mouths when we don't like what they're telling us? No Do we stay silent when someone is abusing us? Absolutely not! When we go to her pediatrician she cries loudly at the finger prick. They don't cover her mouth! I'm so livid! Not to mention she has Zelle for a payment option, which is a bit weird & they apparently now charge for cavity filling the day you schedule the appointment, not after the filling is completed! So unprofessional. I was genuinely too stunned to speak.

They could not get the shape or shade of my implant correct to match my other front tooth. I have had to drive to Arlington Heights twice for a Color match- those goes 2 hours of my time, each time. Two times they had to drill off the implant to put a new one in. This is the 4th time going back to have this "fixed" and the implant color STILL doesn't match my color of my other teeth and now my tooth next to it is longer than the implant I get it it's my front tooth it's hard to match to the other front but when I suggested crowing the one next to it to match the doctor said no. I was also told that due to "my case" they will no longer do front crowns without doing 2 or 4 of the front. They also made me sign a waiver. Way to make me feel like shit for something they should have done right the first time. Have they been accommodating in trying to fix it each time- yes- but this has been a joke trying to get it fixed. I tried to be understanding but it's still not right and I'm not going back for a 5th time. So their goes 3k that I had to pull out of savings down the drain and I will have to have another dentist fix it.

The doctor did not wait long enough for the novocaine to kick in. He yelled at me for jumping each time he hit a nerve. He told me I had to hold still. I told him that my jumps were involuntary due to the sharp pain while he drilled. I complained and he assured me it would not happen again. The next time he gave more time for the novocaine but I still felt pain. Perhaps there was not enough. When a crown was cemented in place on another visit I again felt excruciating pain as he scrapped under the gum line to remove the cement. In addition the office is extremely small. My feet were less than a foot away from the wall. The dental assistant has to squeeze around the room. There is no tray table. The dental assistant drops tools on your chest for Dr. Marchese to use. Each of my dental experiences were a pain ridden nightmare.

This clinic is really great for several reasons despite that, such as staff being really friendly and polite despite angry Karen's (lol), also being really accommodating with small children, moving at a quick efficient pace to accommodate busy Saturdays, and not charging fees for missed appointments or late cancellations. Each of the dentists ive seen here have been fantastic with children, very patient if they're scared of procedures like fillings or sealing teeth, and just attentive to patient needs in general. Of course I did! Dr. Gangaji, the surgeon, did her magic and it was over before I felt any pain (individual differences could vary). The dental assistant, Jasleen, was extremely rude and rushed through my daughter's cleaning in less than 2 minutes. When the doctor, Dr. Gangaji, came in and pointed out food particles still on her teeth--Jasleen half-heartedly claimed she "tried."It was clear she didn't put in any real effort. If she had, the teeth would have been cleaned properly. My daughter had just come from school, so we hadn't brushed her teeth beforehand, but that shouldn't have excused such a lack of thoroughness and care. Dr. Gangaji didn't remove stain from her teeth, that was the main reason we were there. I had to insist that the stains be removed, and after a second attempt, the teeth looked brighter but still not perfectly clean. It's clear that this dental clinic is not equipped or prepared to handle children's appointments properly. They should not even offer appointments for kids if they can't manage them with the care and attention required. I would not recommend this clinic to any parent looking for quality dental care for their child.

While searching for someone in-network with my insurance, I came across Dr. Hur--and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I went in for my consultation, I felt completely comfortable. Dr. Hur took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly, and the best part was that he explained I didn't need jaw surgery at all--he could correct everything with implants. That alone was a huge relief. Dr. Hur and his entire staff walked me through every step of the process. On the day of surgery, they once again made sure I knew exactly what to expect and kept me at ease. After the procedure, Dr. Hur personally went out to the waiting room, sat down with my wife, and explained everything in detail. He never rushed and truly took his time, which meant a lot to us. The next day, he even reached out to check on how I was doing. His bedside manner is phenomenal. He gave me his personal cell phone number and told me not to hesitate to reach out with any questions. About a week later, the antibiotics started to get to me, which I expected. I sent him a text during normal business hours thinking I'd hear back later--but he called me almost immediately. That level of responsiveness is rare and honestly blew me away. I've been back a few times for follow-ups, and every visit has been the same--professional, friendly, and thorough.
