Pizza is great. The outdoor area is a place you want to dine in nice weather. The service is fast and friendly. We like to go there often.

Aurelio's Pizza in Geneva was outstanding. The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and some of the best in the area. Beyond the great food, the atmosphere was very family-oriented and welcoming. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made everyone feel right at home. This was our third year celebrating Father's Day at Aurelio's, and it has become a family tradition we look forward to every year. As pizza snobs, have to say Aurelio's pizza is meh at best. We just don't get the "whole sauce" thing. Been here at least 4 times, trying to figure out what the draw is. Won't go into the "sauce" as we really can't figure out what it is. Maybe it's the sauce that makes the pizzas texture spongy, lacking in so many ways. Service is always spot on....if it wasn't for that, Aurelio's would get 0 stars. SO many better pizza places in the Fox Valley!!! read more

Stopped in with family on a Friday night . We had out of town guests and since Aurelias has been around since the 59s,why not treat them to traditional Chicago style pizza. We were seated immediately. The server literally gave us no time to get situated before he was taking our drink order. I hate when a server does this. I ordered a bottled beer with a glass. The beer came but took 15 minutes to get a glass as he kept forgetting to bring it after asking 3x. Started with the Combo Appetizer Platter which was a Choose 3 items for 17.25. We chose onion rings,chicken tenders and Cheese sticks since the kids were going to eat most of the items anyway. Food portions were extremely small and overcooked. Not a fan! Overpriced. Also ordered a large half sausage/pepperoni pizza and a gluten free pizza. The pizza had little flavor and was over cooked. The ends of the crust would have broken a tooth! My wife ordered the gluten free pizza which was 4 square slices covered with cheese. Basically cheese bread. Again not worth it. The server never came by and asked how everything was or if we needed more napkins. When I paid the bill I asked for a paper receipt and he basically disappeared. With so many pizza places to choose from,I don't think I will be back to this location. read more

I'm surprised to see any negative reviews of Aurelio's. I dine in here one to two times per month. My book club has been meeting here for years and we always get pizza and appetizers. I have found that sometimes they get a little slow because they get so busy, but the servers here are really, really great and the bartenders are super personable and attentive. Great customer service! Aurelio's pizza is a little bit unique, the sauce is on the sweeter side and just amazing. They cook the crust so it's very crunchy, probably with some cornmeal. Yes, the cheese on top is partially yellow, but not in a weird way. Overall a delicious pizza! Additionally, we enjoy all of the traditional pizzeria appetizers and the pasta dishes are good as well. The salad is classic pizzeria salad, you know what I mean! Gluten-free crust is available available and my mom claims it's good. When I go with my husband, we sit at the bar and it's always a fun time. Their beers are icy cold! read more

I don't understand the 3.2 average rating. Just my opinion, but I think it's the best pizza in the Tri-city area. Pizza prices seem a tad higher than at first glance, but they also put more cheese and toppings than most places, so you need fewer pieces to fill up. This local pizza spot is better when the weather is warm and you can sit outside on the patio. Pizza has a sweet sauce and too much cheese. The service is a bit lacking while prices keep going higher. Kids enjoyed it but there are better local pizza restaurants out there for the money. read more

The ambience is nice- old school pizzeria and nice outdoor patio. It is kid friendly- Food is awful- rusty salads and boring, standard pizza crust like a frozen cardboard, canned (not fresh) mushrooms, appetizers still frozen in middle- also ordered a trio app and there were only THREE of one of the items (18.25$) waitress indifferent to the frozen items- just said okay, I will tell them to cook some more. appetizers are clearly purchased frozen, not house made. On the pizza, sauce is very sour, tastes canned. Mushrooms come from a jar so they taste weird and are rubbery. Peppers are canned and taste like vinegar. I mentioned it is something I am not used to growing up in the Chicagoland area. I was told "they use what they use" by the server and the manager said they use what the main office tells them and it's been that way since day one. Service was not the best, but oh well. we were with a group of 30 people in one room, but all the tables were separate, it was awkward. Won't be back. read more

We have heard a lot about Aurelios from friends and was never able to try them out since we don't live nearby. We had the opportunity to place an order to go in order to support local businesses and I have to say the ordering and all was flawless! Since we are a ways a way we order two frozen / uncooked pizzas. One cheese and one garlic and spinach. When we receive them they were in nicely wrapped it had very clear instructions on the packaging and everything from temperature to how to cook the pizza. My god the garlic smelled amazing when cooking them.... and came out amazing coming out of the oven. I was not to sure what to expect to be honest but between the staff being super helpful and the ease of cooking them ... the most import part was the taste test. Mama Mia! These pizzas where excellent. I have to say the spinach garlic took 1st place for me. I replay appreciated the quality ingredients and the crust was perfect. Though not nearby ... we are are coming back for more. Extremely good. I can thank the aurelios team for going the extra miles .... the made these to order and nailed it! We had a retirement gathering middle of the work week, mid-afternoon for 25-30 people. We asked for a variety of pizza's soft drinks and water. If Individuals wanted something else to eat or drink they paid themselves. The waitstaff person we had did an excellent job. Kept the drinks flowing and the tables cleaned as needed. We set the event up with Tyler, he and the staff delivered what we asked for. I wish I knew the waitstaff person she had super customer service. Ordered this medium thick crust pizza tonight and it came like this (middle pieces were the only ones that had a BIT more cheese). No offense but did I have to order more cheese for it? Also, picked it up right in the 30 min time frame and the cheese was hard. Not confident this was a newly cooked pizza. We get tomato, garlic, and spinach pizza. It is delicious, we come here often. Service and food very good.

Came here for dinner in the evening and got an outdoor seat. The seating in the back is very cozy and live music was nice and the pizzas we got were fantastic. Plenty of leftovers to bring home. There was a wait but they use the Yelp queue function so you can check your phone to see what place in line you are and how long is left to wait while you walk around the beautiful downtown area. Great Chicago style thick crust pizza. Great service from waiters and waitresses. The ambience is very good.

The wait staff is extremely friendly and attentive. First off my husband growing up loved this place from his childhood memories of it, so we went for the nostalgia of his boyhood. The sauce is a much sweeter sauce than normal pizza sauce(if you love that kind of sauce this place is for you). To me however it tasted like a can of spaghetti-o's lacking the pasta was dumped on top of a pizza crust. I would never get a pizza from there again as sweet and flavorless isn't my cup of tea, but would give the pasta a try. read more

We stopped in here on a busy day to get some dinner. The place was packed because everyone was there to watch the NCAA tournament games. We took a seat near the bar and were immediately greeted by a server. She brought out waters for us shortly after greeting us. We ordered a large family salad to start the meal. The salad was alright, which is a concerning start to the meal. Some of the lettuce seemed old and I wasn't a huge fan of the house dressing. I ended up ordering some of their ranch instead - which was very good. For dinner, my family ordered pizza with sausage, pepperoni, and mushrooms. I ended up ordering the large tortellini. The food came out about 30 minutes after we ordered it. My family enjoyed the pizza's crust, but they wished there was a little less sauce on it. The large tortellini came with a soup as well. The soup was quite bland, but after adding some cheese and salt to it, it had a great flavor. The large tortellini was really good. The sauce had a great flavor and was a huge portion. If I went back, I would order this alone. Overall I am not sure that I would go back, but the environment was quite nice. read more

This is one of our favorite pizza places in the area! We have had dine in experience, take out and delivery. The customer service here is efficient and the pizza is delicious! We are big fans of the thin crust and a medium is perfect for two hungry people or 4 moderately hungry individuals! They also have an app that is highly convenient and I even scored a $ 10 off coupon for my birthday! The restaurant it self is well designed. The restaurant is technically off of Route 38 so parking can be tricky...but Aurelio's has a back parking lot that takes you directly to a take out window that is simple to pop in and out of! They also have a really pretty outdoor patio that is wonderful to sit out on a summer night. Delivery is always on time and we never get inaccurate time frames when we do take out. read more
