A lot of the sales people I encountered were pushy, and downright rude. Because of my past experience, I was dreading looking for a salwar kameez but the ladies that assisted me were very kind. I explained that I'd be attending my first Bengali wedding with my new husband who was accompanying me, and wasn't sure what I was looking for. They made suggestions and suggested I try on some things to get a feel for what I liked. While you really can't expect to be modest at any sari shops, these ladies did give me a little bit more privacy than what I've experienced before and it was appreciated. I tried on 4 different styles and modeled them for my husband before narrowing down what we wanted. Keep in mind that these clothes are NOT cheap. If you have some haggling skills, you can bargain your way down $100 - $200, which we did. That being said, we did end up paying $400 and while that included tailoring, it is still a hefty price tag. As in all shops, they will try to get you to buy more than you intend to and are a bit pushy, but not overwhelmingly so. All in all, I walked out with an awesome outfit that fit like a glove and would recommend this shop to anyone who needs their clothing fast. Otherwise, buy online and have it altered here to your preference and save a bundle!

She showed us some saari we liked and told us each was $550, which were as is overpriced. From that point onwards, she would not tell us the prices of the pieces and tell us that she'll give us discounted prices altogether. Turns out, the bill she drew up for us not only was at fully marked prices but also included an item we ended up not buying, she also included taxes in the total and then again added the tax while ringing up the bill so we were charged an additional $200, i.e. double taxed. To top it all off, we also found out that one of the saari she quoted $550 for was actually $395. When we brought this to her attention, she said it's evened out since she had given us a great "discount" overall. We would have definitely returned had she not ripped us off. The products are OVERLY priced as is and she is doing her best to squeeze out the customers who are remotely interested in the pieces.

They have some of their mens collection on the walls. They're true bridal clothes are in the back of the store, which is where we spent the majority of our time. They have a huge collection of bridal clothes and had quite a few for the exact color that I was looking for. The woman working the store, happened to be Afghani and didn't understand Hindi (spoke perfect English though, which was great for me!) and was a true sweetheart the entire time I was there. She was really helpful picking out different clothes and quickly picking up styles that I liked/disliked. She was also nice when trying clothes on, showing me different ways that I could wear the clothes. Overall, a really nice woman....which made me feel bad when we didn't buy anything from them. Their clothes were really nice, but they were a little pricey and they didn't have exactly what I wanted. If I had to do it again, I'd definitely go back there for any occasion that I was looking for an outfit for.
