My son LOVES Auntie Anne's pretzels. We stopped and got a cup of pretzels. The young lady working there gave us a cup and when I went to pay, the tip screen popped up for a second and before I could reach out my hand, it disappeared. My credit card was already charged. When the total came out, it was over $9 for a cup of pretzels. I asked for a receipt. With the smirk on the young lady's face, as a former teacher, I knew what she had done. She tipped herself and went back to working. Instead of making a big deal out of it, I left it in God's hands. The funny part is we went to the Nike store next and bought my son a pair of shoes. They were suppose to be 30% off and that young lady decided to give us 50%. So with God watching and karma kicking it, it worked out in my favor. As for that young lady in Auntie Anne's, I will probably never buy another pretzel from Auntie Anne's, as there are other brands that make the same pretzels. Also, that young lady is going to wonder some day, when something goes bad and cost her a bunch of money,"Why me?" Now, you know why. I am sure this is not her first time stealing tips. I am sure she has done it to a lot of tourists, but I am not a tourist and God is always watching! read more
