This Auntie Anne's is located at The Block in Orange. I love me a good pretzel with cheese. To be honest, I'm more of a Wetzle Pretzel girl. But I do like Auntie Anne's too. I ordered an Unsalted pretzel with cheese. The pretzel was warm. The cheese hot. But the pretzel was still very salty, even though I asked for unsalted. The pretzel could have been softer. It was hard and didn't tasted very fresh. Still edible. But not great. read more

I'm having mixed feelings a bit this location. On Sunday, 2/5/2023, I placed a mobile order for a 5:30pm pick up. I ordered 2 snack packs which comes with 2 large nuggets, 2 pretzels, and 4 dips. It was a total of 3 large original nuggets, 1 large cinnamon sugar nuggets, 3 almond pretzels, 1 sour cream and onion pretzels, and 8 dips. Everything was hot and fresh. So amazing that I was craving it again. Fast forward to today, 2/8/2023, I placed a mobile order for 1 snack pack(2 large original nuggets, 2 almond pretzels and 4 dips) and mini pretzels dogs. My mom got there and was told they didn't get the order since their system is down so it'll be 10 minutes for the mini pretzel dogs. Ok, fine. Things happen. She got the stuff and came home. She saw 2 mini pretzel dogs and thought they were being nice since she had to wait. Cool. I grab an almond pretzel and it was rock hard! They should've made new ones since they were making the mini pretzels dogs anyways. Then I check the nuggets and they gave her 2 small cups instead of large. So yea, I got a free order of mini pretzel dogs but they screwed up all my other pretzels and I'm here feeling like I totally wasted my money. Not cool. Every time I go somewhere that has an auntie Anne's, I stop in; I love their cinnamon sugar pretzels. I got a thing of pretzel bites, bit into one and it was stale. I went back to the counter and asked if they had any fresh ones coming out. The girl at the register asked the guy behind her and he said "why, there are 2 more right there (in the hot cabinet)" She said "these are the freshest ones we have." I responded "I'm not paying $10 for stale pretzel bites" and she said "we can refund you" Horrible service, maybe the others are stale too and you should offer to make some fresh ones to the already closed customer. I had a great experience with this location unlike a lot of these reviews. I was working a wedding where the pretzel vendor cancelled last minute. We were able to order Auntie Anne's pretzels enough to cater the late night snack. They gave us no issues and had everything ready at the time pick up was! TODAY (WEDNESDAY the 7th of JULY 2021) was our FIRST BAD EXPERIENCE EVER. We have gone in the past lately & HAVE NEVER had a bad experience besides earlier this evening. Got there around 5 something p.m. Ordered (at 5:12 p.m.) through the app while waiting in line since my husband was getting his complimentary/free pretzel (Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel) for his birthday reward. Order was going to be ready at 5:22 p.m. Got the order & left. But before leaving the young lady who (was wearing glasses, dark hair in a bun/ponytail, I think, & a red colored shirt) gave me my pretzel did not seem to have great customer (care) service towards us, since it felt/seemed as if she wanted us to leave right away or hurry & leave after getting our order. Especially when asking a question & how she responded towards me/us. Attached below are photos of the SWEET ALMOND PRETZEL, which was PRETTY MUCH BURNT (as you can see). Did not notice this till later after we left & was already in Fountain Valley, since I wanted to get a little piece of it to eat while in the car & that is when I noticed how burnt it was after the second bite/piece. Though it was a free one I still bought a drink that came w/ it, since it was part of their reward(s) of buying a drink & getting a free pretzel. The Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel was not as bad as the Sweet Almond Pretzel. It was AT LEAST BETTER than the Sweet Almond Pretzel. A LOT BETTER and NOT AS BURNT AS THE SWEET ALMOND PRETZEL ONE. As an employee, if seeing that I would've made another one or switched it out. I WOULDN'T GIVE a/the customer A BURNT PRETZEL, especially if it was freshly baked as it was. That's the good thing though, that they're freshly baked as said & quoted on their wall inside. Also, it wasn't even that busy. Next time I'll/we'll be checking my/our pretzel thoroughly before leaving. Usually that's done but today was a quick look in the bag & just took off since we felt like they wanted us to hurry & leave or get out of there. This location has horrible customer service. The location is supposed to open at 11am on Sundays. I arrived around 11:10am. The door was not open, however there were 3 employees in the store and they completely ignored me. I waited for about 15 minutes. Others also came to the door during this time and were ignored. I also knocked on the door 3 times just to gauge how much longer they would be, however all 3 employees continued to ignore me. If the store is opening later than the stated time, that is fine. However, I would expect that any company with good customer service would have the decency to touch base with their customers to inform them of their status, rather than blatantly ignoring them. Worst experience ever! Waited in line for 20+ minutes, I didn't bother waiting that long because I was craving a pretzel. When I got to the front, Catherine provided bad customer service. She had an attitude and seemed all customers were a bother. I also asked for a jalapeño pretzel and she said they didn't make custom orders at this time (6pm). Haven't been to an Auntie Anne's in quite some time. The salted pretzel was soft, butterry & hot. So fresh....They have a variety of options...,plain, salted, cinamon, etc. I tried the salted. So yummy! I didn't try anything else bu definitely want to visit again and try something else. Recommended. read more

If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would without a doubt. Every time I go to this place it is super poor customer service and burnt pretzels. Yesterday around 6:30pm-7pm I placed a mobile order and the line was extremely long. I told the cashier BRI, that I was picking up my order and she rolled her eyes. Her attitude was extremely absurd. She told me it would be 5 mins, as in it sounded like it was still in the oven. I told her if it wasn't ready I could just get the one inside the glass case that was the exact same thing. She walked away with her disgusting attitude and told the other girl who was baking who also had a poor attitude. They were both confused thinking I wanted a refund, when all I asked was to get the exact same thing that was already ready inside the case. Bri then says well it's already made it just needs to be bagged. I can't believe they have workers with such a poor attitude like this working for them. I watch her encounter with every customer the exact same way. But then when it's a group of boys she smiles. Never in my life have I ever met someone with such a nasty attitude. This place really knows how to ruin someone's birthday over a small pretzel. They kept throwing a fit and asking for the QR code for a free birthday pretzel when the app itself says No code needed. Michelle and Diego were very difficult to deal with and when we asked them to find the QR code for us they were highly unprofessional and claimed they don't know how to use the app..?
