I've learned that not all BB.Q's are created equal. This is the first one we tried, but have since…read morebeen to a couple of other locations (La Cañada and the one in the food court of H Mart in Arcadia). Let me tell you, THIS one absolutely smokes its contemporaries. Their kimchi fried rice is one of the best just things in general I've ever eaten. The chicken, despite being generously lathered with well flavored sauce (the delightfully smoky galbi is my favorite so far) somehow managed to still be crispy hours later. And I don't know what fairy magic they make the fries with, but even those were hitting as leftovers hours later. Cold fries are usually NOT IT, but these are the exception that proves the rule.

It's one of my favorite wing places. They have other different flavors as well but those 2 are my top flavors. I tried the mozzarella cheeseling last night too. I wish it was still hot when I bit into it for the cheese pull but it did not. The cheese powder outside though --- it's sweet and savory at the same time. It reminds me of a chip seasoning. It's so yummy! Will always go back to bbq chicken for the flavor and crunchiness. Lots of parking in the plaza and the staff in there are super nice. Very casual vibe and you know people are enjoying their food in there. It's been a while since I haven't had bbq chicken but it reminded me last night of how good it was.

Tried this for the second time. I still don't understand…read morethe hype and I'm not sure if it was because I hadn't ate all day and was starving but I enjoyed my chicken tenders this time. But they don't stand up to the hype. It was very crowded on Sunday night both inside and the drive thru mostly high school kids. The service seemed nice and attentive. The place inside was a little dirty but nothing crazy. We ordered through the screen and got our order in about 15-20 min so not too bad. The chicken tenders do taste good with quality. They come out warm, soft but still with the crisp. The Cane sauce is good but the chicken tenders honestly don't need it because the chicken is good itself. I had their coleslaw which also taste fresh. Their fries were not as crispy as I'd like them to be but still had enough of the crisp and weren't all soggy. I had a bite of the chicken sandwich and that tasted pretty good but again I don't know if it was because I really hungry. They have a lot of combos to choose from and come off as a little overpriced. I don't mind coming back but really gotta be craving them to spend almost $20 for one meal.

The wife wanted to give Cane's another go…read more Drive-thru on April 11, 2026 Saturday night at 6:30pm. Two Box combos. Simple and straight-forward. I get home, and guess what? No coleslaw in one box. Instead, 2 slices of the soggy bread-like substance, and I got one. How can you screw this up? We came here when they first opened when the line for the drive-thru was wrapped around the block. Now, it's easy to see why there's never a line. Look at the reviews. Look at my last review. ATTN: Todd G., I tried. Instead of your pathetic attempt at damage control, I'll do it for you: "We never want to disappoint and we regret to learn of your recent experience. Please call us at 1-833-HICANES or contact us at www.hicanessocial.com. We want to address what occurred!" Sadly, I drove right past Dave's Hot Chicken. Never again Todd.
