Such good coffee. Here on a cruise and wanted to stop for some caffeine. Atmosphere and service are wonderful.

Delicious coffees and great breakfast options. A waffle topped with strawberries is my breakfast favorite. Popped in for lunch and discovered the magic of tachos (tater-tot nachos) that are awesome.

Visiting Juneau we took the city bus (only $2 ) to Auke Bay in hope to see some whales . No whales but SO many Eagles!! It was low tide and we were able to walk along a very wide muscles strewn beach. It was beautiful!! After our walk the rain came in (surprise) and we ducked into Auke bay cafe got a wonderful late lunch. Spicy fries, sweet potatoe fries, chili, cod sandwich, cod fish fry, it was all fantastic! Great service and delivery of our food and an amazing view of the bay and the eagles flying around. I'd show you some pictures but we ate it all immediately

Best breakfast, coffee and icecream sandwiches. My daughter found this place and we gave it a try. Great service, large portions, lots of tables with a great view.

This is a diner. No frills, no pretense. It's not cheap either (but not much in Juneau is). That said, you get a lot of food for the price and the view is good. Plus you order at the counter so you don't have to include a full tip. We had breakfast. Everyone liked everything really. I'm not sure you can go wrong.

Crepes were fast and fantastic! Served/barista was busy, but kind and offered local recs.

After years of mismanagement as a Waffle House, I think this place has a chance now. I am pleased with the quesadilla and the coffee too.. if it's empty now it's not because of poor service, rather it's likely from overcoming a reputation from the distant past.

Food is good but prices are high, staff seems under trained, food consistently changes in portion and quality.

The fudge is handmade on-site. When we arrived I spoke to an attendant who recommended to us the salted caramel, chocolate peanut butter. My daughter also picked out cookies and cream. The place is small and intimate. For 3 large 1 pound slices in a box it was about $37. My son however, could not leave without a giant chocolate chip cookie he absolutely refused to share. Super tasty, great treat to take home or share while on the cruise. And yes you can take it back to the ship. I would recommend adding this location to your list!

And, there was such a big selection of fudge that it took us a while to make our choices. Good thing the staff were patient with us. Prices were reasonable and the fudge names were cute: Motherlode Maple, Klondike Pecan, Juneau White Out, Glacier Bay Walnut, and so forth. We bought a slice of Glacier Bay Walnut (chocolate fudge with walnuts) and Capitol City Caramel (chocolate fudge with caramel and sea salt). Both were very good but that sea salt with caramel was my favorite.

The restaurant has amazing views to the wharf. We were able to see the seaplanes land and take off. We ordered the tempura halibut & chips $34.99 and BBQ Burger Dip $24.99. The menu offers a variety of food items: burgers, steaks, pastas, soups/salads, local seafood dishes and a list of favorite dishes (jambalaya, shrimp tacos, ginger ahi, halibut wraps and more). If you pay with cash the 3% convenience fee will be removed. The portions for the halibut and chips were large and it was enough for two people. I would recommend for the halibut to be more crispy but overall it had a good taste.

She then sat the very next party of 4 people without hesitation. This seemed very odd so when she came back to the host stand and greeted the next party we excused ourselves in front of the line and asked her if we'd be seated and she acted like we had never spoken to her. This was very strange but she sat us next to a window with a great view of the wharf where sea planes take off so we got to watch those while we ate. The server also took a long time to come to our table or even greet us to say he was busy and would be with us shortly, (it was about 10 minutes with us not even knowing if a waiter was assigned to our table). We shared the nachos and my wife ordered a Dr. Pepper which she said tasted so off that she wouldn't drink it. I tasted it and it tasted like cleaning solution wasn't properly rinsed out of the cup. She didn't want me to ask to send the drink back so we just didn't drink it. The nachos were pretty good though. They hit the spot since we were pretty hungry and they were worth the price, very easy to share between two people and leave full.
