Lemon is my stylist and is the only person I trust with my curls. Until I found Lemon, getting my haircut was something dreadful. Other salons all across SLC just chop instead of rebalance and make my time in their chair, high-stress. I would leave with a fake smile and so sad. Lemon has altered this reality. They listen to my goals and respects the integrity & health of my hair foremost. They are a kind mentor and provide education on how to further the HOF experience at home with products & technique. I spent nearly 400$ to get a "Brazilian blowout" "smoothing" treatment and I'm so beyond disappointed. My hair is the same if not more dry and course than before the treatment. I wanted something to temporarily straighten my hair and I got confused by the messages with the salon which is my fault. But now after all is said and done, I'm just upset my hair feels and looks just a little bit worse if anything 4 hours of salon time and 400$ later. They like to change times and send you a last minute text with a new time. The late fee inorder to reschedule was $240. The amount they made up that it would have cost to get my hair done. Matt or Mark told me he would do a partial color and only charge me two $30. Late fees in addition to the cost of color. I do understand that their time is money so maybe they should quit changing times without a phone call to the customer. The late fee is ridiculous. If you don't want customers, Matt/Mike just let us know. You're not the only salon. My other stylist has been messaging.

Poor cabinetry, weird ceiling panels that shoot for elegance but miss the mark. The washing stations aren't comfortable. You can head every convo throughout the salon because of the wide open space and you literally can stare at the people on the other side of you due to poor positioning of chairs/mirrors. The floors were dirty, there was hair and dust on the cabinets at opening, AND the BIGGEST issue I noticed that there were no sanity stations for scissors or brushes. My hairstylist used a curling brush that had hair already in it! I'm praying it was only used on freshly washed hair, but still I don't think that's acceptable. As far as my stylist, I'm happy with her and her providing me with the services I scheduled. The service was slightly more than the lists prices online so they should update the pricing. Since I liked the stylist I will give it another try but the salon isn't something itself I look forward to entering again.

The lady who cut my hair used MENS CLIPPERS to cut off my hair, I have NEVER had anyone use men's clippers to cut my hair. I should have walked as soon as she brought those out. My haircut is the easiest haircut of them all since I have always had such long hair. Somehow she messed up my hair and now I have to go somewhere else to get it fixed. I am embarrassed and so sad that she cut so much of my hair off.
