This pick your part in San Bernardino is ok. The Service is…read morefriendly. We've come here for a few parts for various cars. Never had any problems. I just wouldn't buy the warranty on the used pick your parts as they're already used. So its not really necessary or needed. Well in my opinion the warranty is just a way to add more $$$ to your bill. Other than that I'd come back if I needed a part.

Best Pick-A-Part in the IE! Multiple locations around. From ONT, SB, to VV!…read more Pick-a-parts are a very straight forward kind of concept. If you are looking for a used part for a car, there is a chance you may find it here. Pay the entrance fee, bring in your own tools, pull the part off yourself and pay for it at the exit. There are some additional things to know that will enhance your experience here. (1) Don't bring any parts stored in your tool box that may have been pulled from another location - there are bag checks (before you enter and as you exit). You don't want to look like a thief. (2) There are some tools that you may not be allowed to bring in, such as a jack. Why? Well, I suppose to keep injury occurrences down. It is possible to get hurt while picking your own part, however, you basically sign a release at the door as you enter. (3) Lastly, if you forgot a tool or need to leave and return with that specialty tool, you may get a re-entry hand/wrist stamp so you may return and enter without paying the entrance fee a second time. Just be sure to ask for it before you exit. The only down side to coming to a place like this for a part is this: (1) Those who usually come and pick parts usually trash the vehicle for that one part. Meaning, some could be there to pick a blower fan for the AC of a car, but demolish the whole damn front interior (dashboard and all) just to get to it. I wish there was a better way parts could be spared for those who could actually put it to use. If you are picking, don't trash the car of its other parts. (2) All, if not most vehicles, are lifted on dummy rims. While this is the business' way of organizing the junked vehicles in the lot, it makes it very difficult and barely impossible to break that retainer nut getting to that suspension knuckle you are after. (3) The business will assume that you want warranty on EVERY PART YOU BUY. This is the most annoying part of coming here because if you do not think to ask for NO WARRANTY, you will end up paying a few extra bucks per part... and it all adds up. So if you are in for a bargain and can go without the warranty, you will save some $$$. (4) Some parts are not clear how you are being charged... in this case just ask. Lastly, the workers here are usually pretty helpful when locating a car in the lot for you. Happy picking!

They failed to follow their own policy to check bags of people going in - if they had the employee could have simply informed me to take my jack back to the car. After purchasing my part, I was exiting the facility and the "supervisor" checked my bag and implied that I had stolen the jack! Very embarrassing! She informed me that she would not take a look at the trunk of my car where she could clearly see where it had come from.. instead she told me that she would review the video recording and if they had failed to check my bag, then they would return my jack (the big lie). Jackie clearly wanted to stick it to me and returned with a single useless still frame picture of me entering the facility! Time stamp on my receipt 11/8/2025 1:20pm customer with the yellow bag.. Jacky took great delight in exercising her authority and effectively stealing my property because I was upset! I left after giving her some choice words (not proud of that but oh well!). In hindsight I should've called the police! Theft is theft!

They didn't charge for us to remove the part ourselves like a lot of these reviews said. I took off a star because it is true they charge for every little damn thing. But I bought it because I was not going to take everything little thing off to save $50. I didn't buy insurance which sucked because I bought the wrong year but that's completely my fault, buy the insurance just in case! Also the workers can use some help with customer service but overall good junk yard. I would visit again.

I really contemplated on posting this review because normally the experience here is good, however…read moretoday it was just terrible. I just can't believe the service I received from the cashier today!!! After sweating to get up to the 3rd level, I pulled a part that took some time to remove (not easy). When I got to the cashier it was a girl that I have never seen there before. She was the one with a large birth mark on her face. After an exhausting part pull I went to her at the register (she was the only one), and she began to start arguing with me about what part I had. It was amusing that she didn't even know what I had anyhow as she kept scrolling through her computer trying to figure it out for 5 minutes. Note, I have purchased this same part multiple times over the year at this location, with different cashiers. She claimed the lock actuator I had was a "chassis control computer!" No way in the world does this little actuator motor with a single 3/8" connector be classified as a chassis computer! It doesn't control anything, it actually gets told by a computer to lock or unlock it's motor actuator! I kindly explained how it functions and she didn't believe the ASE master technician I am. She began her belittling attitude, then I kindly asked to confirm with the other gentlemen there (one that's a manager (Juan), and the other that's a normal cashier (which has worked in the Nissan Parts dept. for many years, this being a Nissan part he always knows exactly what it is). She said nobody's available. Then to my surprise, she began to belittle the other cashiers, and the knowledgeable male cashier I normally see. She stated that they Did Not Know what the part was, and that I was always undercharged. Hmmm...very interesting, because I forgot to mention the other Female cashiers charge the same as the Men too. Between the terrible customer service, and her not knowing what the part was, I left the part on the counter and walked away exhausted. Go ahead and recycle it off as scrap metal, because I was about to buy it for what it's worth. Overall this Female cashier needs to be trained on customer service, parts identification, and to simply be able to uphold the reputation of the company by not talking down fellow "More Experienced" employees. Belittling customers is one thing, but to belittle your fellow employees really makes me not want to go back!
