You can tell the owner takes a lot of pride in the business, and I really appreciated that. I received a 90-minute massage. The massage itself was okay, but it wasn't anything memorable. I've probably had 30 massages over the years, and this one was pretty average compared to others I've had. Unfortunately, what stood out most was that my massage therapist repeatedly passed gas throughout the session. I understand that everyone is human and things happen, but it occurred multiple times during the 90 minutes, and she never acknowledged it or even said "excuse me." It made the experience uncomfortable and took away from what should have been an enjoyable massage. I truly appreciated how clean and inviting the spa was, but because of this experience, I'm not sure I'll be returning.

I started physical therapy and quickly used up all my allowable PT visits but was nowhere near ready to stop doing physical therapy. I figured if I was going to pay out of pocket for PT, then I mine as well pursue therapeutic massage therapy and do the exercises at home on my own time. Enter Suzanne. I have been seeing Suzanne about once a week for over a month for targeted therapy on my legs. In some cases it extends to my low back, glutes, pelvic, hips, etc but it all just depends on what's happening with my body in any given week. This woman works magic. I leave her studio pain free and feeling muscles I didn't even know existed. The work she's doing on me hurts and is not relaxing but my goodness has it completely changed my recovery. I'm sure she offers relaxing, gentle massage work too, but if you really want to invest in body work then just let her do her thing because you won't regret it. Here's the catch... she's a very popular lady and is often booked out 4-5 months. I have no idea how I managed to get on her schedule but I have to believe the universe aligned and made room for me when I needed her most. Once you're a client, you can add yourself to her cancellation list (managed via text) and if you have a flexible schedule then you'll typically find at least one slot a week opens up.

A True Hidden Gem - Best Massage Experience of My Life!…read more Holistic Body and Mind Massage is, without a doubt, the treat of a lifetime. I've been getting therapeutic massages for over 27 years, averaging about two per month, so I don't say this lightly: this was the best massage experience I've ever had. I've been to high-end spas--like the Wynn in Las Vegas--where the service is incredible, but you'll walk away $500 lighter. At Holistic Body and Mind Massage, I found an experience that rivaled those top-tier destinations for a fraction of the cost. The quality was absolutely elite, but what set it apart was the deep personal care and attention the masseuse provided. The atmosphere alone deserves five stars: tranquil music, warm lighting, a beautifully detailed room complete with art, a bonsai tree, and a gentle waterfall--all perfectly curated to relax every sense. The heated blankets and incredibly comfortable massage bed just elevated the whole thing to another level. Now let's talk about the masseuse. I've had over 250 different massage therapists in my life, and she is the best--bar none. What makes her exceptional is how skillfully she tailors the pressure for each muscle group and body type. As a bigger guy who likes a firm massage, it's rare to find someone who can apply the right intensity without going overboard. She did it flawlessly. No unnecessary pain, just deep relaxation, circulation boost, and real therapeutic relief. Her intuitive communication style was another plus. She was responsive and engaged when I felt like chatting, but completely respected the silence when I wanted to zone out. It's a rare gift to know when to speak and when to just let the experience unfold. After three sessions in a row, I'm ready to make this a weekly ritual--budget permitting! Last time, I even fell asleep mid-massage (something that's never happened before) and woke up feeling more rested from a 15-minute nap than I have in years. That's how powerful the experience was. In short: go. Just go. The pricing is more than fair for California and Nevada standards, and the value you receive is unmatched. Holistic Body and Mind Massage is where quality, ambiance, and personal care come together in the most magical way. I can't recommend it enough.
