I felt like a lump of dough being kneaded or a floor being scrubbed. The second time I was actually in tears. I told them multiple times to be gentle but even after they adjusted it was only tolerable. The facility itself seems really nice so if you happen to get a good masseuse Iike other reviewers did I imagine it could be great. I'm so disappointed I didn't get that experience.

I can go to any of the aestheticians and know I'll get the same level of service. My only criticism and the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is it's very hard to get someone on the phone. If it wasn't such a good place and very close to home, I would have found another spa by now. I've been coming here since I moved to Kamloops last year and sometimes it takes hours to finally nail down an appointment.

To be fair, I do suffer from dry skin and my cuticles are quite dry. However, I believe that is NO excuse to leave with three (heavily) bleeding cuticles because the manicurist rushed and cut me three times!! I have been to other places in Kamloops and other cities (with the same dry cuticles as I always have) and have never, ever left with worse cuticles than I came in with! Everyone was pleasant and the colour/paint job was just fine, but I am extremely upset and grossed out by my now bleeding fingers, to which I immediately applied Polysporin and bandaids to stop infection and the bleeding. The front desk receptionist gave me 25% off but I will still never go back or recommend this Spa to anyone.

I knew very…read morelittle about acutonics, but heard it described as an acupuncture-like treatment and thought 'why not'! WELL. What an absolute treat this was. Audrey, the practitioner, used sound to work on my body (this is not something I could have imagined!), and just...wow. She would activate tuning forks, with beautiful sounds coming out, then hold them to specific pressure points on me to let the sound reverberate through my body. It felt incredible. I didn't want the treatment to end, and when it did, I said, "okay, I have to come back! When are you next available". I wanted to come back the same week, but she suggested I wait and see how the treatment had effected me before returning in a week. So, today is the day (one week later) and I'm excited for my next session. I also am curious to try her heated salt water pool, sauna, and sound bathing sessions. I feel I've stumbled down a magical rabbit hole and I can't wait to see what else is in store here.

First I had booked a quick gel polish appointment, I had called ahead and asked how long the appointment would take so I could feed the parking meter accordingly, 30 minutes they said. I waited in the lobby for 20 minutes past my appointment with no indication if I would be seen anytime soon so I informed the girl at the front desk that I would be stepping out for a few minutes to refill my parking meter, I didnt complain or say anything about having to wait so long but for some reason the girl took extreme offence to me saying that and snapped at me that my nail tech would be with me as soon as she could. Then, a friend and I went there a few months back to get nails done for her wedding and had a horrendous experience. The nail tech insisted on GRINDING off her nail polish, she told her repeatedly that it wasn't gel polish just regular lacquer and the tech basically told her to deal with it. At the end of the appointment her set was super bumpy and looked like crap, then we go to pay and the girl says she has to pay $85 because shes an "experienced" nail tech and the prices posted on their website are for the regular nail techs... girl what. Do you nails a favor and take them elsewhere. I recommend Pink with Envy.
