The Universe has blessed this lady with the gift of healing. Very rare. I will go back and have my 2nd session when I feel ready. I think this is a very unique service & specialized service. Maybe I should clarify : I went for one thing, and one thing only - Reiki .

I told them multiple times to be gentle but even after they adjusted it was only tolerable. I can go to any of the aestheticians and know I'll get the same level of service. My only criticism and the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is it's very hard to get someone on the phone. If it wasn't such a good place and very close to home, I would have found another spa by now. I've been coming here since I moved to Kamloops last year and sometimes it takes hours to finally nail down an appointment.

I have never been so unhappy with a spa experience ever. I regularly get pedicures and manicures…read moreand I decided to try out Spa Pure in Kamloops because of their lower prices. To be fair, I do suffer from dry skin and my cuticles are quite dry. However, I believe that is NO excuse to leave with three (heavily) bleeding cuticles because the manicurist rushed and cut me three times!! I have been to other places in Kamloops and other cities (with the same dry cuticles as I always have) and have never, ever left with worse cuticles than I came in with! Everyone was pleasant and the colour/paint job was just fine, but I am extremely upset and grossed out by my now bleeding fingers, to which I immediately applied Polysporin and bandaids to stop infection and the bleeding. The front desk receptionist gave me 25% off but I will still never go back or recommend this Spa to anyone.

First I had booked a quick gel polish appointment, I had called ahead and asked how long the appointment would take so I could feed the parking meter accordingly, 30 minutes they said. I waited in the lobby for 20 minutes past my appointment with no indication if I would be seen anytime soon so I informed the girl at the front desk that I would be stepping out for a few minutes to refill my parking meter, I didnt complain or say anything about having to wait so long but for some reason the girl took extreme offence to me saying that and snapped at me that my nail tech would be with me as soon as she could. Then, a friend and I went there a few months back to get nails done for her wedding and had a horrendous experience. The nail tech insisted on GRINDING off her nail polish, she told her repeatedly that it wasn't gel polish just regular lacquer and the tech basically told her to deal with it. At the end of the appointment her set was super bumpy and looked like crap, then we go to pay and the girl says she has to pay $85 because shes an "experienced" nail tech and the prices posted on their website are for the regular nail techs... girl what. Do you nails a favor and take them elsewhere. I recommend Pink with Envy.

I had the unpleasant experience of getting my hair cut by a grumpy young girl I believe was named…read moreMelissa... At least that's the name I remember being posted on the mirror in front of me. She had some blue or purple highlights in her hair... From the moment I walked in I realized she wasn't in a good mood, but thought nothing of it. When she started using the clippers in my hair, she was clearly in a rush to finish - she was moving them so quickly it was pulling my hair. I asked her to slow down because it was unpleasant, but she didn't care. She continued. After the 2nd time I asked her to slow down, she got extremely annoyed that I was telling her what to do and put the clippers away. She then, as quickly as possible, cut a bit off the top and offered the mirror behind my head so I could see the back - only problem, she wasn't holding it correctly for me to see. When I asked her to adjust so I could see she got angry again. She took about 6 minutes to cut my hair. Even though there were no customers sitting around waiting, she couldn't have gotten me out of that chair faster. Needless to say, I won't be back to this place. Nor will I ever let anyone I know and respect go there. The customer service is terrible and the haircut is mediocre at best.

I went for a bang touch up, because I tried to cut my own after the last 2 bad haircuts and messed up. Stupidly, I decided on the spur of a moment to get all my hair cut, I was worried it looked shabby for the meeting. I went to Kristine. Asked about a long angled bob. LONG. I touched my collarbone. I SHOWED HER FOUR PHOTOS ON PINTEREST. She could do it no problem, she SAID....My hair was below my shoulders long. Five minutes into it I saw the cuts she was making to the back. I asked why it was so short. BOY short. 4 inches left. Too late to stop. She had that "oops" look. I want to sob even typing this. Two years of growth gone. Beautiful long thick hair chopped into layers so thin and chunky and UNEVEN it takes 2 hours to style natural curly or straight, and somehow the angle stops and goes SHORTER in the front. It is a BAD cut. This is a stylist who pretends to listen then does the one cut SHE likes to do, the one she bragged she practices on her aunt. Be damned what you ask for, my sense is she will give you her preference. It's my fault for trusting a low end salon like this. I thought maybe they might actually listen to me instead of trying to be Vidal Sasson. The minute I got into my car after I was in tears and the look on my companion's face said it all. I feel like an 8 year old girl who had gum in her hair and had a hack job instead of the long haired sexy woman I walked into the salon as. Just to add insult to injury she shamed me for the products I used, the henna I favour ( and get many compliments on the colour of!) and tried to sell me b list products.
