they sold us two dresses one was the complete wrong size and the other one has a pin holding a strap together and half the strap isn't even held together anymore. it also has a rip in the slit(very noticeable) and got help while everything was ripped or broken. worst place to go in south Dakota. -10/10. and were very nasty. Plus way too expensive just to be ripped or the wrong size and can't get a refund. read more

They have messed up everything from tuxes to dress and only a few days from wedding! Everything is still not right. They try to double charge you for things you already paid for so keep all receipts! They do not keep track of anything. When setting up appointments or they offer a quoted price please get that all in writing or you'll show up for an appointment and they don't have you down. Also, when it comes time to purchase something for previously quoted amount they will try to jack up the price and use every excuse to make you pay more! I'm ending up last minute having to work with another bridal store, who is bending over backwards for me to try to fix all their mistakes!!! (The seamstress was willing to fix things that day, gave me a nice garment bag for free for my dress! Audra's had given me my nice wedding dress in a cheap plastic bag with no protection? They said that nice of a dress will get ruined and wrinkled if not in proper garment bag and when you pay thousands on a dress you expect it to just come with a nice garment bag!! Also the other bridal shop gave me much better quality accessories for half the price of Audra's and a 50% discount on top of that! When I left Audra's in tears I went to other bridal stores and they tried everything to correct their wrong and were very understanding! They could not believe how bad we've been treated! Audra's told my fiancé they would NOT stay 5 min after closing to pick up tuxes when they have messed them up and only days from wedding. We live out of town so he was on his way and they said they would lock doors right at 4 so if he could not get there right at 4 on the dot, they lock doors and will not let him pick up tuxes! That was up to him to risk driving their! After all they've done that's the least they could do?? It's not like he'd be there more than 5 min to pick something up. My dress wasn't ready when I went to pick it up days before our wedding, and was not steamed! It appears from other reviews this place used to be good but has gone down hill the last few years. I regret going with them and buying right away! I should have shopped around! I always felt rushed and most the staff is rude. They always seemed annoyed or that it was a chore to help customers! They seemed very disorganized and have you bounce around from sales person to sales person which only makes things worse! Everything gets lost in translation! Please keep every receipt, document everything and verify over and over deadlines and times. Be firm and hold your ground so you don't end up like us days before our wedding and we still do not have everything!! Also, do not EVER purchase anything up front unless you are 100% sure! They will NOT let you exchange or return anything, even if it has never left the store and no alterations or anything touched on it. Legally, they cannot do that since it's still in their procession, so know your rights and the law! I wish my experience was better but it was by far the worst customer service I've ever had and I left there in tears in so many occasions and they just acted like it was no big deal and they didn't care about their customers! Please, think before spending your good hard earned money their unless you wanted to be treated poorly! The one good thing I will say is the seamstress is great and none of this was her fault!! read more

I shopped at Audra's during the planning of my wedding last year. The employees were so nice and helpful. Audra's has a beautiful selection of wedding attire. I visited some of the other bridal salons in town as well, and did not have a better experience than the one I had at Audra's. I wish I was getting married again, just so I could go buy another wedding dress from Audra and her fantastic staff! I will recommend Audra's to anyone I know who is planning a wedding. read more

Was excited to shop for my daughter's first prom dress... we made a day trip to Rapid City, and were nicely greeted when we arrived at the downtown boutique. However, that is where customer service ended. For an upscale store, nobody assisted us... or rather, 3 harried clerks rushed around, but no one gave us any help on sizing or finding the right gown. After helping ourselves, we searched for a dressing room and were herded to the basement, a small changing room behind a curtain. After finding a lovely dress and needing another size, a clerk said we could alter it (from an 8 to a 2!) or we could order a smaller size at a higher cost, 50% down, pick it up in a few weeks (another trip), non-refundable if the sizing is wrong. For that, I'll order the dress online. read more

I did not have a great experience working with Audra's. They were not very helpful at all and not one apology and we spent a lot of money from my bride dress, all the bridesmaid dresses, and all the tuxes. Three of the tuxes were measured wrong, the flower girl dress was measured wrong, and 2 of my bridesmaid sashes fell off the dress including one AS we were walking up to take pictures with the photographer! My dress was not steamed and then was to long and I tripped over it many times! Not a good overall experience. read more

My friend went through Audra's for her fiance's tux, the bridal party tuxes and dresses and some other family tuxes. We loved the bridesmaid dresses; however, the employees recommended sizes that ended up being nowhere near correct (we were all measured). Three of us were told to get the same size, but we are nowhere close to the same size or shape (one other girl is about 6 inches taller than me). We ended up trading dresses around and still had to alter them. Also, the groom's tux did not fit correctly. This company was also very difficult to work with when returning the tuxes. The wedding was on a Friday and the company was closed the next Saturday and Sunday. The couple is not from Rapid City and the company would not meet them Saturday or Sunday. My husband and I live an hour and a half from Rapid and had a trip planned there Tuesday after the wedding, but the bridal store demanded they be returned Monday. After much discussion they agreed to let us drop them off for the couple Tuesday morning (we did give them a ton of business, after all). We had the tuxes returned Tuesday morning by the required time; however, the store was calling my friend on her honeymoon Monday evening demanding to know where the tuxes were. When we did return them, the two employees were on the phone and just told us to leave them on the floor without checking in to see which party they even belonged to. read more
