One of the problems people have with hearing aids is the frequent need to change batteries. The doctor had mentioned these to her before but said the technology wasn't good enough at the time. Now, apparently, they improved so she ordered a pair on the doctor's recommendation. When we arrived they were so friendly. They seem to know everyone who is a patient - greeting them when they arrive. When the doctor came out to greet my mother, she hugged her. That is not what I expected. That is one reason for the five-star review. The other reason is she stands by her products. I'm not sure what the hearing aids cost, but expect they were not cheap. Mom tried them out and said the quality of the audio was much better than her old ones. We left, finished our other errands, then went back to her home. We plugged them in and the next morning they weren't working. So, we went back. The doctor saw us right away and asked if we could leave them with her for a couple of hours so she could test them out. When we returned, she gave us a new pair. Now they work fine. Fortunately, I don't have problems with my hearing (yet). But if I did, and I lived in the area, I'd certainly come here.

Then he stopped wearing them, which he then missed place one of the hearing aids. We called to came into the office to purchased a 2ND pair for $500. This second pair broke in a month and registered under someone else name. He then found his first pair that he misplace. We called to come in with TWO BROKEN PAIRS. Alex, the audiologist said to our surprise that "you will only get one pair back." I said we paid for them, the 2ND pair for $500. He said the insurance paid for it. You only get one pair back! Now they have our TWO PAIRS hearing aids and $500 for more than 5 WEEKS and still no show. We called they didn't pick up the phone. They said they called us at my number, but never did. We drove to the office waiting for them outside and we met another customer, his dad has a similar problem. They didn't let us in the office yesterday. I called today and Sandra picked up the phone, screaming in the phone. Go to Costco to save your headache.

The office is clean and bright with lots if off street parking. Both are extremely profesional and friendly. From the minute you sit down in the waiting area you can tell that they value you as a patient. My husband needed hearing aids and we were referred to this office after a disastrous visit with another local audiologist in Bethlehem. Sandra made sure we had an appointment convenient to us, called to confirm and gave us detailed directions. Our first impression of Dr. Fontes was "what a great guy". He listened to my husband, understood what his concerns were (hearing loss and tinnitus), had state of the art equipment and recommended hearing aids that would help my husband with his tinnitus. He spent almost 2 hours with us. We came in with some information but Dr. Fontes explained the difference in the brands of hearing aids, what would work best for my husband's lifestyle and the cost difference. We are on Medicare and this is an out of pocket expense for us. He was very through. We never felt pressured to buy a certain manufacturer. We received our hearing aids promptly and have been back twice for adjustments. They are working out great. Dr. Fontes also told us that if we couldn't make it to the office he would come to the house. Yes he makes house calls. I wish my regular doctor was this accommodating. All I can say is if you need hearing aids and want someone you trust, this is the place. He is terrific. You won't be disappointed.

The pride they have as well as professionalism really shows when they are helping you with ANY issues you may be having. Because of a recent cold my ears seems to be clogging up the ear bud / dome part of the hearing aid. I walked in without an appointment figuring I'd need to make one. I was lucky as they took care of my problems RIGHT THEN AND THERE. They are very friendly and I am GLAD and JOYFUL the team is SO DOWN TO EARTH! Joking with me and just having fun inside of a 10 minute visit. Thank you to Doctor Widdowson as well as Monica for putting together such a WONDERFUL staff of workers who all are easy going and easy to deal with. I bought top of the line Oticon hearing aids a number of years ago. I paid $6,000. Should have taken care of them. My hearing aids are out of warranty. I sincerely let my aids lapse. . Now Im experiencing more hearing loss. Marianne Mculogh the owner told me I could send them back to Oticon to refurbish them. She told me it would cost about $90 to send them back. Oticon would Probably have to charge me more to fix them. Cris said I had to layout $495 to send them back. She outright lied to me. Audiology and Hearing aids has good reviews . Maybe now that they are a chain called Living Well ( corporate America destroys people once again. )they start to take advantage of people, especially senior citizens like me. I called Oticon to express my dissatisfaction and the lady at Oticon offered to give me other hearing aid places to go and will file a complaint against Audiology and Haring aids, I spoke to a Monica at Oticon customer service. I also explained my batteries used to go one at a time...I would replace one battery on Saturday, for example and then on Tuesday for example I would haven't replace the other ones . Monica said it's possible that some batteries might be older .It never fails, hearing aid stores try to cheat people and this is one example.

I have to say, Dr. Pollack seems to have received some negative reviews. I didn't meet him, utilize his services or even see him for that matter. My involvement with this office was with the audiologist. She knew her product, how to manipulate it and was very thorough and accommodating. I also picked up a $249 annual package deal that included the audiology assessment, ear buds, wax guards and batteries for the year. Having just come from using a pair of MDHearing hearing aids (and buying replacement parts and batteries for nearly three years) I can tell you, $249 all inclusive for a year is a good deal...
