I went in her back in January 2021 to get my vehicle tinted, one I received the job a few months in, about 3, I noticed some peeling on the rear driver window, I took it in some time later to get that fixed under warranty and to get the front 2 windows changed out for darker film. When I got the vehicle back I noticed that he used different film on the vehicle all around to cheap out on my warranty fix. I later that week went to claim the horrendous job that was done and the owner wanted me to pay even more money to fix his mistakes. I followed the vehicle and found out they outsource the window tinting job to a separate guy who told me that Jeff the owner brings him film to install and that recently he changed out the film for even cheaper film. This is how I know this location is just fraud. I should have left once at the very beginning when the guy behind the desk said to me "You think you can come a little early and expect to get your job done faster. Do Not Go Here! I have installed multiple sound systems and I tried going here to save time... BIG mistake! Took more than twice as long as they told me, they ended up chopping apart my fuse box cover to run power to the sub rather than just running straight from the positive terminal on my battery. They also drilled 4 screws directly through my trunk under my sub for the grounding wire, rather than sliding a cable lug over an existing bolt already tapped into the frame. I haven't even gotten around to disassembling the dash to see how bad the back of the head unit looks. Go to a REAL professional, or just save money and do it yourself. Also some of the workers that are at the front desk are very disrespectful and rude. After hours of waiting for the installation..I received my car but it was not done properly. Sorry to say this is a shitty ass place! Let me break it all down to let Tweedledum (THE OWNER) get it through his head what he did was wrong. In which we should have looked at the google ratings (poorly and he likes to respond to the low star rating with his stupidity) sooooo here it goes #1- my husband had an appointment with them at 10:00 am (in which I know stuff ends up happing and stuff gets delayed) we didn't leave their till 8:10pm (yes you heard rite PM total of 10 fucken hours) just to leave pist the fuck off (appointment-A commitment to appear at a certain time and place to get service done with no wait)( just in case Tweedledum didn't know what it meant.#2 according to what they told my husband was his light on dashboard came on, so they were trying to figure what was going on (never said anything about something being wrong with module) #3 when the front office guy (I have no complain about him he has good customer service skills) called my husband that the owner (Tweedledum) was on the phone in which I took the phone to talk to him myself because it was taking to long and my husband was not understanding him as well. #4 I get on the phone suddenly starts telling mi that the module we brought was open and was a bad module and that "EL MODULE ESTAVA CORTADO" (the module was cut) I said excuse me what ...(BECAUSE I PICKED ALL THIS STUFF UP MYSELF AND EVERYTHING WAS SEALED) and I repeated what he said and he said yes. I was freaking out because I know it was sealed #5 he kept offering a new module that they use and that everything would work or keep the $50 offer he was shooting at us in which it wasn't going to be able to hear the radio (common sense I didn't want that, so I believed they were cut) so the call hung up #6 he wanted to talk to my husband, and I said if he guaranty that it will work go for it ($219). So, then the guy who was installing my husband stuff (the guy with glasses) called my husband to the back I followed him, and he was explaining stuff to my husband. So when he was finished he explained it to me and I said what do yall MEAN THE MODULE IS CUT and the guy with glasses said who said that and I said well the owner just told me that over the phone and he showed me the module AND IT WASNT CUT he confirmed it to me so that was a big relief so I could take it back where I got it from( in which I called the guy and he was confused because he said that was the right module) so we left it at that and he said it usually only takes them 3 1/2 hours max so I was like he been here all day#7 then the guy with glasses ends up saying he isn't sure the steering wheels was going to function with the module (keep in mind that's why we got the new module because EVERYTHING WAS GOIN TO WORK) so the nice guy notices my face and said I need that fix because it has to work with me paying extra for that. He took me inside and just tried calming me down. (which thank you did not get your name but thank you)#8 the owner comes in and 1st did not say nothing to us when I know dayum well he seen my face expression. And proceed to help another customer (common sense go with the people who 1 has been there since the morning 2 is Hella pist off)#9 we are about to pay and the guy tells me its $567 adding stuff in which I said wait a minute what the hell that wasn't the price my husband was give ( here is where I got pist the fuck off)#10 here comes Tweedledum to say why so much and I said you told me the module was open and the cables were cut. He tries to say he did not say that. That he said it was a bad module (in other words calling me a liar in what I said = me pist the fuck off you don't know me to be calling me a fucken liar) and I said yes you did and he tried scarring me saying he recorded the conversation (In twelve states, no person may record a private communication without the consent of every party to that communication. Thus, no surreptitious recording is allowed (with exceptions for law enforcement officials who have obtained warrants to make such recordings). So sweety might want to get that checked. I said go ahead and show it to me because I know dayum well what I heard ( keep in mind their was another customer, the front desk guy, and my husband their witness everything he said) he leaves the phone on speaker for us to listen to it( in which he heard it first because my husband seen when he heard and played it back) and to my dayum surprise HE CLEARLY SAID MODULE ESTA CORTADO and I said boom right there.#11 then suddenly he comes in with the module and guess what it was cut (when I had just seen it because his worker showed it to me) and I raised hell because it was not like that and he didn't like the fact I told him his worker just told me IT WASN'T CUT (IT JUST DIDN'T FIT) #12 he decided to take me outside where glass guy was and guess what glass guy suddenly got dementia and didn't know what I said (they trying to save their asses) pathetic so owner decides to change read more

Don't believe the good ratings. Stay away from this shop at all costs. If you want unprofessional, sloppy and half the job done than this is the place for you. All others stay away. See pictures also. I bought a 2014 Mercedes from a dealer who had taken it to Jeff at Audio Zone DFW to have a rear camera with a Nav-TV video interface ($850). Which is supposed to allow a smartphone to be display to be mirrored on to the in car monitor. The aux video input that the smartphone plugs into doesn't work and the install was sloppy and unprofessional. Picture attached. This is where it gets funny. The fast talking owner Jeff explained its cool all I would have to do is (after already spending $1000) I would need to buy a $50 hdmi to lighting converter and a $10 hdmi to rca cable. He then said I should only plug in the yellow rca video plug to the "white" input they sloppily installed in the middle of my dash. (White??? I asked white is for audio not video. He assured me no not this white plug it's for video just plug the yellow rca into it and it will work fine. Oh and what about the other rca cable inputs you ask? Jeff explained just let the red and white audio plugs just hang since the iPhone audio would be connect and transmitted using Bluetooth while the video would connect using the rca video plug. First off after buying all the cables and converters he said it still doesn't work and second even if it did work I wouldn't use it bc it couldn't look anymore cheap and cobbled together than if my 15 year old cousin had done it. I brought my car up to their shop 4 times in the last month and every time Jeff (the only one who knows how it was set up) is either not there or leaves as soon as I show up. I had set up multiple appointments and he never kept one. The dealer spent over $1000 dollars for a rear view camera and a ugly unprofessional rca and remote control transmitter plug sloppily installed in to the center of my nice Mercedes dash instead of the glove box or arm rest where any normal installer would've put it. I would highly suggest going to any other car stereo/tint installer in Dallas or Ft Worth then take a nice car to these guys. read more

After looking at the reviews, one determining factor that made me decide to go here was how the owner took the time to reply to all reviews no matter how phony some of them appeared to be. That shows he cares so of course I decided to go here! I called the day before and confirmed I could bring in my 2019 Kia. I arrived and a young gentlemen ( sorry I blanked on his name) helped me decide what tint would be best for what I was looking for. I left the car and returned about 1.5 to 2 hours later. Definitely super pleased with how everything looked. Got to roll down the windows today and the tint is perfectly cut. I definitely recommend this place. Please save yourself the trouble and avoid. Probably the worst customer service experience I've had in my life. The actions of this company are shameful and dishonest TO SAY THE LEAST. The shop couldn't do the job, so I filed a credit dispute with the bank to get my money back. Because the bank took my money back from him, the owner called me ,played it all cool at first and then he started yelling telling me I was f***ing with his money blah blah and then text me saying that he recorded our "conversation" of him yelling lol. Over $211 mind you. The company then lied to the bank saying that the system wasn't working because of aftermarket door actuators(I was mislead into thinking I needed 2, charged for 2, when only 1 was bad and replaced by them) at which point I needed to provide proof that it was their failure to install the security system correctly that was causing the issue. The issue being the key fob would lock the doors but not unlock them. So I had to pay another shop to fix their mistake, who described it as something someone very new would do, in order to provide proof it was done incorrectly. On top of that the little dude at the front desk likes to be rude when the owner isn't around to hear it and your car is in the back being worked on. I was personally insulted and witnessed the owner and this little dude insult another paying customer because they believed he badmouthed the shop. Once your car is in the back and you're only spending a little money, they'll treat you any type of way because you're not a "real" customer to them and unfortunately that attitude is where this whole issue stemmed from. The whole reason I even filed a credit dispute was because I was told they have "real" customers and I couldn't be seen that day to fix their mistake. So I wanted to put a new radio system in my fiancée Jeep for a birthday gift...one of my friends recommended this place called Audio Zone...so I said okay cool! I went there & the atmosphere was cool & the owner cool! The young man show me some items & some fits for my baby Jeep! I said nice! So they started the process of putting the system in her Jeep. The wait time kinda long but it was cool because I wanted everything to be done to perfection...remind you it's was a birthday gift! After a couple of hours everything was done. I said thank you & left! The first couple weeks everything was cool & then the problems started first problem the radio would freeze up! I couldn't do anything at all! I would have to wait until it would unfreeze or turn the car off in order for the radio to start back working. After that more problems started! The radio started shutting completely down & also the bass switch would also go off. I took her Jeep back to the shop & let them know what was going on. They said they reset the radio & got rid of all the error codes! Ok cool I thought that would be the end of the problems! NOT! The radio continue to shutdown by itself! I would be riding using my GPS & it would just go BLANK! So I took the Jeep back up there told them what happened & instead listening to what I'm saying they talk over you & I tried to explain what was going on & the owner took me to the back & I told the tech that install the system what happened & he gave me a look like yea right! I was telling him how all my services lights would blink & the speed of the Jeep would kinda slow down...it was like the battery was giving out on the Jeep! They did something & sent me on my way! The next morning I did take the Jeep to the car dealership to get the battery & any other service done...everything checked out okay & immediately went back to the Audio shop & let them know what the dealership said & l also showed them a video I made of what was happening when driving & how everything would start going haywire & of course they acted kinda nonchalant. So the owner had one of the techs to unhook the whole system & too let them know how the Jeep ride for a couple of days. Now when I first left the shop on my way home the lights started lighting up again...but this time it stopped! And after that day nothing else happen! I called the shop & let them know that everything was good & did inform them that the lights did blink once on the first day when I left the shop & didn't happen again! When I got to the shop on Monday to get everything hooked back up...the young man said I told you nothing was wrong with the system! I told him I never said something was wrong with y'all equipment, but their is definitely something go on! My Jeep never was doing any of the light haywire stuff until I got the system put in! So they put everything together & l left! Not even 5 minutes down the road...the light haywire stuff start happening again! At that moment I was over it! I didn't even bother to call them & let them know anything! I have given them more than enough of my time & plus I was very patient! My baby birthday was in July & she hadn't been able to enjoy her gift! Today I decided to do my own research & find an audio shop...that can look at my baby Jeep...give me some answers & figured out what was going on! The new tech listen to what l said & I showed him the video what happen & he also road with me & seen exactly what was going on! We came back to his shop & he removed the radio out & said l see the problem already! He said that a wire was ran into the ignition & that was the main cause of the problem! That wire should have not been there. Oh yea I didn't even tell y'all about how I could no longer sit in the car & listening to the radio without leaving the car cranked up! That was another problem...well the Audio Zone said I need some part to make that work again! Well guess what...it's working without any problems now! The young man fixed that also! Now the new shop tech said I did need a part so the steering wheel controls would work again. Overall my experience with the Audio Zone started out okay for the first couple of weeks but the back & forward up to the shop & the nonchalant attitudes with the tech...l was over it! I couldn't of been more clear what I wanted ..They took forever and weren't really interested in doing it. Should've been my first sign to turn away. what a joke, i bring my car in at 10 am per appointment to have my windows tinted. guy tells me 2 hours. i decided to take an uber to my gym to avoid waiting around 2 hours, at 1 pm i take an uber back, that's 3 hours after i dropped my car. 35 dollars later in uber, i get there and they hadn't even started on my car. This place is a joke absolutely the worse experience of my life! I came in for a little sound 8" sub simple box nothing outrageous. I explained what I wanted with limited space in the trunk. First mess up was on me allowing the owner to talk me into a different box. This is late November. Being the owner claims to have been in the business for 26 years I caved. Took a full day from open to close to wire up 1 amp and drop an 8" sub in a PREFAB box. All said and done more space was used then I expected. I left tried to make it work no good. So this location claims to have a trade up for the first 30 days. I go in explain the box use is taking up too much space and want 1 built. No problem Jeff the owner sets it up claims a week. I come back in a week. Jeff the owner has no box subbed it out to someone else to build and they are MIA. Gets ahold of his guy claims to have Covid. Fine I wait not 14 not 15 not 16 but 17 days. Xmas week I go in now the story is the guy has family issues never built the box but it'll get done. Agrees to extend the 30 days. Xmas comes and goes so does another week. I pop back in still no box Jeff acts like he is the one let down and calls someone else to build the box. They claim a week! At this point its a month in easy. Pop in again Jeff gets ahold of the guy excuses are made needs a few more days. Fast forward to today January 16th can not get ahold of the guy I wait 2 hours at the shop to only hear I can not get ahold of the guy! Finally having had enough I tell Jeff the owner forget about it. I'm done with it all tell your guy of he ever responds don't need the box and left. I will never set foot, recommend and even suggest this facility for an audio work. Nearly 2 months from start to now and I deeply unsatisfied. I gave more than enough opportunity I feel for even the owner to take a little initiative and build the box himself and rectify the issue. I took my car to get tinted windows. Worst possible job on the tint. The tint was scratched on 2 windows, and uneven on the back windshield. The worst part is they cut into the leather on the door panel. Jeff the owner said he was going to "fix" it but it needed to be replaced, I didn't want the cheap way out. I left my car up there 3 different times for 24 hours each time to get fixed, nothing was done at all except they broke the door panel so it rattled every time a lit bit of bass came on. He refused to replace so we had to go to court and I had to sue to get any money out of this.. Big time head ache that cost me a lot of time and money for the worst tint job anyone could possibly ever do. This place sucks! I wish I would have checked the reviews on here before going.. Went back to ask about a warranty since the kit died so quickly and was told they would have to charge me a $35 "Diagnosis Fee" ..Since the light kit cost $50 I told them that that was ridiculous.
