When I picked up the vehicle, my total came to $1,806.92 -- about $500 more than the original quote. I was never contacted to approve any additional repairs or charges. After reviewing the invoice, I noticed I was charged for a part that was never installed. It took five days of contacting the owner to get $135 refunded for that item. I also noticed I was billed $300 for a part that costs around $145 at Advance Auto Parts. When I asked for clarification about the additional $500 beyond the original quote, I was told to speak with the shop manager. The manager is the one who authorized the charges in question, and I never received a clear explanation. The repair involved a timing chain and camshaft gear -- a common issue on this vehicle. While the car is now running properly, the lack of communication, additional unapproved charges, and billing for a part that wasn't installed made this a frustrating experience. I don't mind paying for quality work. I do mind being charged more than agreed without authorization and having to chase down a refund for something that shouldn't have happened in the first place.

He was able to get me in the next business day! He installed the film in less than an hour while I waited in his waiting room. The only negative is that I didn't know they are cash only and I had to go get cash after he was done and pay after. I normally do not carry cash at all. If I were in need of tinting windows again I would definitely go back!

He's not the best at "dumbing down" the whole tinting lingo so you know exactly what he's talking about but he will answer any questions you have until you understand what you are getting. On the third visit, I was told the reason I was experiencing the problem with my car is because I need a new engine. I was then given a $8,000 estimated repair cost. I left that dealership and called Skylights Automotive and I was asked to bring it in that same day. Not only was I told that I did not need a new engine, they repaired my car at a fraction of what the dealership was trying scam me for. If you ever experience any mechanical issues, please give them a try. You will not be disappointed. My car drives like a dream!
