First off, just going to say, I haven't gotten any services done with audio express. I am currently in the market to get apple carplay installed on my Audi. I called around two a few spots, and was given a quote from the first place. The second and third (being audio express) told me they don't make the parts to be able to install it. When I spoke with Jesus, he spent the time to answer my questions and was very informative. Absolutely the worst customer service experience in Vegas by far and that's saying something. Always wanted a sound system. Paid $1450 for one amplifier and 4 speakers. Pretty pricey but so is everything nowadays. Came back to pick it up and it sounds like shit. Jesus says "oh well you need another amplifier upfront". Ok and you didn't think to tell me that?!?!? I thought that was your expertise. Ok spend another $550 on an amplifier and now I'm at $2,000. That's fine now it sounds like I want. Oh but wait less than 2 weeks later I'm hearing static and the speakers are all messed up. I Wait until I can get there because they're closed on Sunday and Monday. EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT. To top that off they don't even take appointments. You have to get up early and be there before 9am if you wanna make sure your vehicle gets seen that day. Once again EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT! Ok now 6 months goes by and it's doing it again. I go there today at 9am July 19th 2025 and Jesus is not there, he's on vacation. I have another guy (who would not give me his name when I said I was going to write a negative review) say we can look at it, but I don't know. I mean just completely clueless and unprofessional. How bout "We'll see what the problem is and have it fixed for you". No of course not they act uneasy because they don't want to fix their own mistakes and keep a customer for life for not only this vehicle, but future vehicles. The remote on my truck stopped working suddenly after about 10 years so I can't remotely start my truck or lock/unlock the doors. I went here to see about just buying a new remote. I was told it can't be replaced and they wanted to replace the entire alarm system at 3/4 hundred dollars and a 4/5 hour wait. L.A. stereo on west Sahara said I can purchase a remote on Amazon and they will sync it to my system. Ok this is such a great place with Honest people, they've helped me before at no charge for another problem I had. Audio express is a ripoff and scam people out of money. I do not understand as many negative reviews. Jesus was very professional and knows his stuff. I had them install a Kenwood DNX997XR in my 2007 Subaru Outback. Very nice, clean install. I was going to ask them to checkout my Emergency flashers and hook it to power. When Al & Eds installed my previous Pioneer unit over 10 years ago, I didn't notice until 2 years later my flashers no longer worked. But I forgot to ask :( So when the installer brings my car out I said "I forgot to ask....". He says he noticed and hooked the wire to power. 2022 I had Audio Express put a Apple Car Play and Backup camera in my Nissan Versa. We had a small issue with it not being completed correctly when first done, but I went back and they finished it up promptly so no worries. 2024 My backup camera began showing an error message and stopped working. Also, my iPhone cord had frayed and I needed a new one put in. NOT ONLY did Jesus fix the issue with the cord, but he fixed an error he found with the initial installation and fixed the backup camera! I was extremely happy with the service and resolution! Ordered a car stereo for my older model (2011) car. Placed a deposit and ordered parts. Called after 1 month, then again at 7 weeks waiting. At the 10 week waiting mark I attempted to call and cancel the order altogether. I was told that my deposit would be non-refundable. Figure I'd  give it 2 weeks, then cancel the order and contact my credit card company. Suprise, at the 12 week mark, my part still hasn't  been delivered, but they just so happen to have one at the shop. Totally no suspicious activity there (heavy sarcasm). Ok, they forgot to call maybe? I set a time to set install up... Drive away, go to get out of my car, and my door lock is broken. I call them and am told "bring it in so we can check it out".  Take it back in the same day, and get told "let me have the keys" as soon as I walk in, because "they know what the problem is". OK, so they knew about it and were trying to act like they didn't  damage my car? They take the car, and after about 45 minutes they return it to me, lock is repaired. No apologies for damaging my vehicle, nothing. I go to work the next day, go to pop my trunk on my car, and they have broken that as well. I am not even sure as how they managed that, it has always been functional. I call the store, alert them to the issue, and am told to come in on Tuesday. I show up on Tuesday after work... Get told they don't  have time to deal with it right now, and will have to come back. I asked if they will reinstall my old speakers as the ones they installed sound horrible, am told that they will charge me for the install, and I will have to speak with a manager. Spoke to a manager, got my old speakers installed, and repaired the trunk latch. I can not say I'd  recommend this place, as it took 5 trips to get it all settled. 3 stars because everything eventually got handled. Would give 2.5 if half stars were a thing. Edit: About a day after my car was "fixed" with all of the issues, the stereo that was installed completely freezes without warning. Called was told to bring it in, they're  closed on my only day off, so easier said than done. Also, since they repaired my trunk release inside my car, the button on my key doesn't  work any longer. Now I am having to wait again for them to see what's wrong with the stereo. Save yourself time, money, and sanity.... Go somewhere else. Edit x2: they replace the stereo, and now one of my storage areas won't open fully and there are connections exposed... guess I have to go back AGAIN to have them fix another issue. read more

I had thought that it would be a good thing to support a local store over buying an add-on back-up camera for my KENWOOD excelon Reference DNX997XR & so I called them to see if they had some good ones as the KW one was very highly priced & i needed a total of all (4) Frt/Rear/right:left sides... I got there & was shown the EchoMaster Dynamic Line Cam for the rear, and asked the salesman "Jesus E Fuete" (real name) "is there a cheaper option & is this a good price? I was quickly reassured & felt rushed to pay & end style... I left & didn't get to Install for a few weeks: when a friend helped me to put mine ok, he had the same one but bought it on AMAZON... He said, what did pay for it & where? I say, AUDIO EXPRESS & $130.04 w/ TAX... Then says, OH NO BRO!!!!! What????? They got you bad, then showed me on Amazon, the avg price is like $30-35 ea...!!! So not wanting to feel like totally got: 1) lied to by "Jesus - Strong Price Hand" aka "Nacho Libre" of Audio ACCEPTS - "NO REFUNDS" in ALL CAPS ON RECEIPT pretty much made me feel like these people prolly do this to people regularly...??? So after a while I felt like I need a bit more power to match my speaker setup. I had one sub installed about 5 months ago and it was doing well until I turned my volume up pass 13! Just sounded like I got a bunch of muddy bass and that was due to the fact that my 5 Channel was pumping out so much power to my door channels that it would cancel out the bass. So to counter that I did a bit of research and asked if they could add in another amplifier to get me rolling? Basically the setup he actually told me about 5 months ago, but I was trying to save space then turned out I don't even use the space no more cause one subwoofer was moving stuff around back there and I didn't want my shoes and board to damage end up underneath it and damage it. So added another and was well worth it. Don't even notice the space and the color stitching looks pretty sick with my LED lights on or off. I went with the RD Series cause I'm a huge fan of JL Audio and I felt like it was well worth to have the power and JL Audio name attached to the truck. So with that said I'm pretty sure I'm running them at 400 watts a piece after I broke the other in after three hours of playing the 20hz - 40hz sweep for the subwoofer. Now you can hear the F150 coming from down the street and feel it through the walls and floors of the house! It's purely amazing to me and now when I turn it up to 15 it's hitting so hard that everything in the truck is shaking and rattling in the bed of the truck. I haven't turned it up pass that yet cause I'm kind of afraid too and well, ya just don't need all that happening at once from two 10's! It's crazy on how much power it's running. I will throw up yet another video on YouTube testing it's bass response and it's distance of travel one day soon. Where headphones or use some type of device with bass so you can hear it. I had a Compustart alarm installed on my 2021 Dodge Scat Pack with 5,000 miles. I purchased the Compustar CSX9900AS for a total of $847.07 on March 31,2023 sales person Bhishma. Never informed me that the alarm siren would not connect to my factory sirens until after it was installed. A that point they charge me additional $50.00 labor. They next day I checked the quality of the install what most customers don't do. The quality of the install was poor. The wires are not protected from sharp edge in the vehicle. It's a general practice to wrap the wire with harness tape to prevent a wire from getting damaged do to exposed. Best Buy will do a better job, Best Buy will used a wire T Harness that is more like OEM grade. Audio Express is only there for your money they will steal from you just like a thief you will need up with poor workmanship that may cost you more money in the ended. My salesman was Erick Martinez @ Audio Express store no 21 (AE21). 1420 S Rainbow Blvd Las Vegas NV. It was supposed to be a first come, first serve. I came at 8:30 AM I was the 2nd guy there but the last to leave. My car got done right around closing time which was 6pm while everyone else's car got done before mine. The salesman told me to buy a data bus for extra charge so that the car can get done faster and it will be finished by 2-3, if not it will take longer. I went to the back to see what was going on but the Manager told me I can't be there, I told them, well I'm not in the installation area (inside), I was outside the garage just watching my car and this one guy closed the sliding door on me. What an incompetent manager and staff. These people have no customer service, very very bad customer service. AE21 I already called the corporate at 1 (480) 966-3100. Per the Manager: I went to the back numerous times.. Come on, check your cameras. if I went back and forth or numerous times. these people are liars. U can't trust these people from the manager to the staff. I was in the back talking to the corporate, texting my wife, and talking to a friend. So I got my speakers replaced her for my 15 Toyota Corolla, and then a key fob to unlock and lock my car door.few days after getting it replaced the key fob stopped working so I brought it in and the way it works they work on a first come first serve basis. Which is frustrating as I'm a customer coming back for a warranty. So I have to wait to be helped. So they fixed it, then about towards the end of the same day after "fixing" it the key fob stopped working again. So I called them the next morning and they said to bring it in again. So I then brought back again, and again had to wait. All they did was press a button to reset it. It started to work again, after a week and half it then stopped working. At this point this is what the fourth time. So I'm already irritated and frustrated because I paid $100plus for this key fob to unlock and lock my car doors AND IT DOES NOT work. AGAIN. So I call them again and their policy is no refunds but it's covered under warranty and to bring it back in. No I'm not gonna keep driving across town to have you guys somewhat fix the issue. They refused to give me back my money AFTER this remote not working and clearly I am having issues. To this day it still does not work. I came here for a car alarm/remote starter install in August 2018. The car alarm and starter work great. My issue is with the poor customer service. During the install, one of the technicians messed up the trunk to the point where it would not open from the inside switch or my key fob. They told me to come back a few days later and would fix it. After waiting for hours, they were able to fix the key fob and trunk release button however they screwed up the button to the point where there is now a cord that hangs from my door. They informed me they would order the sleeve needed for the button and that they would fix it. After many phone calls and visits, the piece is still not fixed. I was repeatedly told that they would call me about when the part was in but I never received any calls. To this day (1/06/19)I have never received a call from Audio Express. The poorest customer service was from a salesman who called himself "B". One other thing. Be very careful about using Progressive Leasing. They approve you for a high "limit" however it functions similar to a 0% apr credit card offer where you have to pay in full within the promotional period otherwise you'll be charged interest. In this case, you are charged more than double the purchase price if it is not paid within the 90 day period. Make sure you set your payments up so that you pay off the entire balance within the time frame and don't simply rely on Progressive Leasing to do so for you. I was luckily enough to catch this prior to being charged more than double for the car alarm. I cannot recommend this place due to the very poor customer service experience that I had. read more

NEVER AGAIN! A couple of years ago these guys overcharged me on a radio/alarm install on a work van. I guess that was my fault because I didn't make them put it in writing. Fast forward - I tried again, figuring there would be all new employees by now. When I picked up another work van (only 6 months old) in for an alarm install, the cover to the evaporator/heater was missing. Audio Express said it wasn't due to their work, even though a new set of wires they installed runs right through the area. When informed of the problem, Audio Express said it wasn't their fault, they didn't touch the part, it wasn't anywhere in their shop, and they would do nothing about it. I give up. These guys are either dishonest or incompetent. I had to buy the part at the Chevy dealer for $70, and when I installed it I found broken plastic pieces of the missing part under the carpet next to the wires they ran. Jesus really took care of everything I needed and ordered the necessary equipment so that my new car stereo could be installed in my Ford Fusion. We had to order a kit which took about a week to come in but Jesus kept me informed and set me up for installation as soon as it arrived. Thank you audio express for a job well done. Really pleased with the outcome of my purchase- I got new speakers, an amp for my front speakers, and a subwoofer. Everything sounds amazing and it was exactly what i asked for (louder volume, lots of bass.) For someone like me who doesn't know the first thing about car audio, the employees definitely know what they're talking about. We were able to find exactly what I was looking for within my price range. Also was done quickly, but I got there minutes after opening (would recommend to anyone to drop your car off at opening to have it done same day.) After talking to Jesus and telling him that we just wanted a basic stereo for my son's car, he showed us a few stereos in our price range, then took us to some that were $500-$1000 more expensive, just in case, even though we had just said we wanted something basic. When I asked if they do a price match on any of the add-ons like the kit or Metra parts that he was showing me in his computer (necessary for the install), he said yes they do if it's from an authorized dealer. When I found the same Metra part from an authorized dealer for $60 cheaper, he then said they actually used a different part that started with "AE"- their version of the part. Apparently, he was just showing me Metra parts just because. They don't actually use them for what I needed it for. Finally, when we were asking him about other components needed for the install, he went in the back then came back to tell us about all the other parts--dash kit, install kit, connectors, mic attachment, and some other stuff. It was a lot. What he failed to mention until a bit later was that the dash kit he would have to order would take 3 months to come in. That would have been the first thing I would have mentioned but Jesus didn't think it was significant. I guess I feel like he wasn't looking to take care of us and wasn't upfront about relevant things we needed to know. Otherwise, nice guy. Sales-wise, not super competent. read more

I had the most worst experience with their manager and with all the employees! fuck Audio Express got a quote for 1379 go to pay it was $1,500 because they had to make some baffled that they never called me to get the OK for and just made them install them and that was it. So after an hour and a half to two hours fucking yelling at them I've got him to get it back down to $1,300 where it should have been to begin with and all this is going on other managers sitting in their office laughing. Although when I call them, they let me come there and check my SUV. However, they couldn't solve the problem. I have just been returning and returning to the shop. I stop returning to the shop because I have been patiently going there back and forth for a quite long time and still they have not fixed the problem. We paid $1,000+ for that. Sometimes, I am thinking just to remove it, but the SUV will have holes back and front now. Then, the staff will always say "I will call you when it is done". But, he will not call. The service here is bad, so much that I decided not to get my system installed here. First off was the scummy sales tactic where they made me drive in to give me a quote & once I was there they didn't even look or go out to my car, 2nd was the take it if you want it attitude & basically just all around bad customer service. I understand German cars are harder to work with big there's no reason for a paying customer to be treated the way I was, so I explored other options & found J&J audio a hopping center to the south of this place & they did a solid job!
