I just came home from a great car-buying experience. I purchased what is probably the least expensive vehicle this dealership has ever sold and honestly, I think I was treated like I just bought a new 300K R8. I came across the vehicle thru Cars.com, almost by accident. This is what I had been looking for for months but what I had seen were from private parties with vast mileage and excessive rust. This one was well-maintained by one owner and in impeccable condition. I am on Long Island, I reached out to the dealership and spoke with Alex Coss. He truly was a gentleman to deal with, and he worked with me to make this virtually effort-free. He said they were used to this and get a lot of customers from across the border in New York. I can see why. If Alex is an example, they put the effort in so the customer is more comfortable. Why can't more dealers follow their lead? There was no upsell, and I got exactly what I was described and promised. If you are considering an Audi, or anything else they might carry, why not look up Alex and give this dealership a try. Our Audi A6 (my wife's daily commuter vehicle) had a check engine and EPC lights come on. I called Thursday at 9:15am and was told that if the car arrived by 2pm, it would be looked at the same day. Based on that assurance, I had it towed in by 11:45am. It was not evaluated Thursday. By Friday around 1pm (more than 24 hours after drop-off), I had not received an update, so I called. I was told the technician was supposed to have reviewed it that morning and I would receive a call back "in about an hour". That follow-up never came, so I called again three hours later, just before their closing time. I was told then that fault codes were found in their diagnostic and that I would need to authorize an additional diagnostic hour to investigate further. I declined and communicated that I would pick up the vehicle. On Saturday, after another unreturned callback request, I decided to go to the dealership. I arrived about 30 minutes prior to closing. There was confusion about the vehicle being ready despite prior notice. I paid for a diagnostic, but no one available that day could explain the findings. The only information I received was a brief verbal summary from the prior day -- no written diagnostic report was provided, though I requested one then as well. I understood it was too close to closing time to pick up the car that day and was told to pick it up Monday. From a value perspective, if a full diagnostic hour was billed, I would expect one of the following: * A written diagnostic report of any findings to date * Root-cause analysis beyond basic fault codes * Clear next-step guidance explaining what was ruled out, and why more than one diagnostic hour was required if all they were doing was using a code reader to diagnose fault codes. Reading OBD fault codes typically takes minutes. Without documentation or deeper findings, it is difficult to understand what value was delivered during that billed hour -- especially before requesting authorization for a second hour. This is a daily commuter vehicle, so when same-day expectations are both set and not met by the Dealership, the downstream inconvenience is significant. I went 5 days without my vehicle. Transparency, documentation, and proactive communication are essential in these situations. I feel as I have received none of these. I ultimately had to return again Monday (30 minutes each way) to retrieve the vehicle and take it elsewhere. Key concerns: * Expectations set vs. delivery * Missed follow-ups * Lack of written documentation * Diagnostic billing transparency * Pickup coordination While I was there waiting for my vehicle to be released a total of 90 minutes, I saw it sitting in a bay with the door and hood open with no one around it. It almost felt like I was being punished. In fact, I got the overview video of the vehicle (eg) condition of the tires, fluids, etc- which is supposed to be done when the car is taken in, only after I left the dealership after picking up my vehicle. I specifically explained my concerns in person with the Service Manager, Matthew Deterizzi, and he said he would get back to me after speaking with his rep. He never reached out and it has been weeks since this experience. I waited to post this review to give him the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps the worst part of this experience, when I took my vehicle to another dealer afterwards- they said the error codes had all been erased- which certainly can be interpreted as malicious, vindictive, or a complete lack of communication. Codes have to be erased by choice thru the OBD Reader. They are not erased simply by being read. Even if an oversight. I paid the diagnostic fee and should again have some tangible record of it. Audi Englewood had no right to delete that data especially without confirming with me first. Hope this helps others understand my experience with a dealership where one would expect an elevated experience. Based upon this experience, of either silly games played by them or inept processes, lack of communication, and ineffective troubleshooting, this is not the dealership for me. read more

Actual Convo with the service staff picking up my Q5... Me: "When I dropped this off I said the lane assist wasn't working right and mentioned the 360 cameras didn't line up. On this report they said the 360 cameras just never line up on these and it would cost $900 to calibrate it after owning it 12 months... I wanted the lane assist addressed..." *Service Calls someone on phone and says yeah a few times* Service: "They compared it against other Q5s and they're like that." Me: "So they drove it around and compared it?" Service: "Yes, they took it on the expressway and it's just how these are" Me: "So your report says you put less than a mile on the car, you're telling me you drove on the expressway, exited, turned around, drove back in under a mile?" Service: "The expressway is right here.." Me: "And when I check the dashcam they'll have driven it?" Service: nods Checked the dashcam, wasn't driven... at all. Got taken to the side lot, washed, and oil changed. Lied to my face. Didn't address a problem that they couldn't charge for. I have 2 Audi vehicles and I recently went to Audi for service. Shoddy work in my front brakes were found when getting my rear brakes done and the Englewood, NJ Audi Service Department did not take full responsibility for the shoddy work that was done in 2022 even though they acknowledged that the mechanic at the time was fired due to performance issues and he worked on my brakes at that time. They confirmed through their records that this mechanic worked on my front brakes of that vehicle. The manager Matt offered to cover the parts and I had to pay for labor in the amount of $1050.00. When Matt's Manager, Nick came over - he said you should be thankful because I would not have offered that deal. Sadly to say, I received poor customer service from the Service Department -- Managers, Nick and Matt, were terrible - These Service Department Managers did not care about customer service satisfaction - not important to them!!! I've been a customer for 12+ years and have always been treated with kindness and respect. My latest experience started with Kristina in Service, who greeted me with a friendly smile. After having my car looked at (my car died in the Lincoln Tunnel), she was kind to review the situation, and most importantly talked thru options in an honest an objective manner. And most importantly, focusing on my safety. Next stop, yes, was Sales. Anna could not have been more pleasant. First, she asked what I wanted in my new car, and then she provided just enough options to give me choices, but not too many that I was inundated. Anna was a wonderful sounding board - provided enough of her opinion to let me know she also, cared for my safety, and comfort, but short of pressuring me one way or another. We worked together and I landed on a beautiful new car! After a bit of paperwork (thanks to all for the behind-the-scenes work on this), Jordie took me through the new tech functions in the car. He could not have been more patient and clearer. The old car didn't want to go without a fight - the rear plate was rusted to the car. Had a horrible experience last time and made the mistake of coming back... If you live in New Jersey the only Audi dealership I recommend is Bridgewater... They will take care of you and not waste your time... Yesterday I got a flat tire in Edgewater, New Jersey and roadside assistance send someone out to put my donut on the car... I made an appointment first thing Saturday morning (today), Moved my schedule around and made sure yeah I was the first one or one of the first people there. After waiting about 40 minutes, the guy comes in and tells me that my tire company is closed (i have the rim and tire package).. honestly, these people are just careless, lazy, and don't do their due diligence to not waste peoples time. This could have easily been avoided by someone checking the details while cooking my appointment. Last time I was here they didn't even fix my car (said they fix the problem but it kept happening and I ended up having to take it elsewhere) and my airpods were stolen by their valet service which they claim is a third party. Even though they did replace them... Nothing should ever be taken out of my car or anyone's and that's why I decided to stay instead of leave. What a waste of time! I just picked up my car, A3. I hope they have done an excellent job, but looking at a return car, I don't have great confidence. See the attached pictures. The car was so dirty inside with no vacuum and no wiping at all. It's hard to believe this is a quality service from Audi. They have a good manager who helps me explain my options with great help. However, when I returned the rental car, they tried to charge me the damage fee for having pets in the car, but I haven't received any explanation about that rule. Also, most rental vehicles do not charge $80 for it. Anyway, the service representative dismissed the fee after my complaints. I hope this is not the cause of my car's dirty interior. The part cost 565-750 on line; they claimed to sell me an off market part at a discount at $800 and then charged me for 4 hours labor at $200/hour. I inquired about a car they had through cars.com I wake up the next morning with a email from this dealership by Michael, telling me the car is available and when I can come check it out. I responded I can be there in an hour. Must've been his lunch because I got no response so I called in to confirm that the car is there. I speak with Lee, a sales person, who says let me put you on a hold while I check on the car. After the hold, lee tells me the car is available but that it is a hot car with people looking at it and that someone could put a deposit on it anytime. I tell him I can be there in 15 minutes to take a look and he assures me he'll get it ready. I arrive to the store and guess what?? CARS NOT THERE. It's in the shop! Literally put me on a 5 min hold to check on the car, and even dares to comes back to put the pressure on me when it's not even available?! Mike had to inform me that the car was not available. Not even lee, the one who claims to have checked on it for me. I suspect that the lee was trying to steal the sale from the other salesman or maybe he was just trying to sabotage him. Who knows why he decided to waste my time on a car that's not even available. Would definitely avoid LEE if he picks up the phone because he can't even middleman information. If you have a hard time passing on the correct information, no way in hell I'm going to make a big purchase at a dealership who can't even bother to not waste customers' time during these time. Honestly, I'm glad they did this because it made me reevaluate my situation, but boy was I ready to drive away with the car. When I was traveling and needed a new battery right away, I stopped in w out an appointment. I was instantly greeted and the staff were very welcoming. There was a delay at first due to difficulty obtaining the right battery, but it was resolved and everything was in proper order. I'd like to apologize to Kevin F in the service dept, I was being a pest and hovering about nervously, and he was so patient and professional w me. Terrible experience!! AVOID BUYING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!! Audi Englewood/Town Motors has proven to be the most incompetent and deceitful establishment I've encountered in all my years of purchasing cars!! Two weeks after buying my new car, I noticed my trade-in still had not been paid off. On 08/28/23 I began reaching out to my salesman, Mike Manente, who kept insisting "the loan was definitely paid off." Between 08/28/23 and 09/12/23 I repeatedly requested proof as the lender had not received any payment. I continued getting the runaround until 09/12/23 when I was finally able to speak with the General Manager, Andrew DeTerlizzi, who revealed that the check was sent but it was still showing uncashed so they would need to place a stop payment on the check and issue a new one. He pointed the finger at the lender, indicating THEY must have misplaced the check. Well, this is far different than "the loan was definitely paid off" which I was told multiple times up until this point. After demanding proof of delivery of the first check, I was provided with the UPS tracking number. The tracking history revealed the FIRST CHECK WAS NEVER EVEN DELIVERED because they sent it to the incorrect address!! So not only did they lie by telling me the loan was paid off, they then tried to blame the lender for misplacing the check only to find out THEY WERE THE ONES AT FAULT. Had they truly looked into the issue on 08/28/23 instead of LYING it could have been resolved before any damage was done. As a result, the payoff was not made timely and it was reported to my credit as late, adversely affecting my credit score! Instead of owning up to their error and dealing with it professionally and ethically, they found it best to lie and place the blame elsewhere. Next, let's talk about my registration and New York State inspection. Due to the dealership being in New Jersey and me residing in New York, they were required to issue me a temporary New Jersey license plate while they processed the transfer of my old car's plates to the new one, with the DMV. New York State would in-turn mail them my new registration sticker, and the dealership would issue a 10-day temporary inspection sticker and mail both to me. They sent me my new registration with an EXPIRED 10-day temporary inspection sticker issued in August, on 09/27/23!! More than 40 days after I purchased the car!! How do the people running this place even tie their shoes in the morning? THEY CAN'T EVEN HANDLE THE ADMINISTRATIVE BASICS OF WHAT CAR DEALERSHIPS DO! Sadly, based on their response and handling of my concerns throughout and after this entire ordeal, it's evident that I'm not the exception and this is just business as usual for this dealership. Disappointing sales services. I've been coming to this dealership to service my vehicle with no issues in the past. However, after buying out my lease I wanted to also extend the warranty. The process which is fairly simple took months due to the lack of communication from their finance team. I continuously had to call, email, leave voice/text messages to get a response. I lost my key, called the dealer and they quoted me a price for a new key plus programming (which most dealers don't charge for) They told me I had to tow the car to the dealer, it couldn't be done remotely. I towed the car, was told the key would take a week to get, no loaner cars. PS - there has NEVER been a loaner car when I've had service. They then quoted a price of $200.00 more than the quote they provided the day before. Couple all of the above with the fact that they aren't even nice to deal with. I live about 2 hours away so I called before hand to schedule the apt, took half day off from work to go this dealership to see the car. After i arrived, the guy I spoke to was busy so they just ignored me for 20 minutes, after which another guy came who also then make me wait another 40 min before they could show me a car. Walked in yesterday in the evening.... I was hoping to get more information on a possible allocation for an RS7 or an R8. I literally walked into the middle of the show room floor. Looked around... waited for a few minutes and nothing. It wasn't until I just basically threw my hands up and started to walk away that I was able to receive assistance. MIND YOU... while I was waiting... there were three people sitting in their offices not attending any customers. There were three people at their desks... NOT attending any customers. There were two people attending to clients. So I finally got a salesperson that didn't seem to know what I was asking for... when I literally asked for an allocation for an RS7... after a bit of poking we didn't get much of anywhere.. I literally had to grab the salesperson's note pad to provide my information and had to ask the guy to give me a call when he gets any word on anything pertaining to an allocation. Look.. I'm just happy that the salesperson tried. He was professional and at least made the experience a little better..... but... at this point.. I'm a bit turned off by the Brand and by the dealership. It must be nice to do so well that you don't have to care about moving your brand's "super cars" Their loss... I mean.. I went to Town Audi because they are literally right down the hill from me. Long but please read: Not sure how many of these review below are coerced or fake, but let me tell you about these scumbags. I would think that an Audi dealership would be better, but like typical car dealership fashion they lie and mislead customers. I brought my lease in last month to be appraised in case I wanted to buy it and then sell it to them (currently buying out a leased car is less than the selling price so we could make money selling the car). The sales agent Stephan said they wouldnt buy it, but if I returned it to them they would waive the $495 lease disposition fee and $55 worth of damages. I also spoke to Audi Financial on the phone and they said that dealers routinely pay for customers dispo and damage fees, so this wasnt unusual. But of course, when I brought the car in to return it, they said that the fees still applied and that Stephan was mistaken in telling me the dispo fee would be waived. After arguing about it, the manager Andrew said that he'd still waive the $55 damage fee if I returned it to them. I eventually agreed to this because I planned on getting another Audi anyways, which would get the dispo fee waived (I didnt get it from this dealership, obviously). I eventually got a bill from Audi for the $55 of damages which Andrew said he'd cover. My wife and I called the dealership many time, left many messages, but they will not return our calls to pay for the bill they said they would. Do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership. I have leased 2017 Audi A4, fully loaded. When I went to pick up my car, I have not received my spare key so I asked the sales rep 3 times, and all they told me to keep look in the car... After yr and half maybe, I had an emergency matter, I didn't have the key with me at the time, nor could drive, someone had to do for me but didn't have my spare key.. after this incident, I went to the dealership to ask for the spare key again, since I never got them, they're telling me that they have to go by the paper since the sales rep is no longer with them.. Not only that, they're blaming me for coming this late? I shouldn't have to when I had my spare key in the first place no? or how about, maybe I don't think about the damn spare key all my life? Because I have more important things to worry about? Look, I understand why they are saying what they are saying, but there's a way to do so. I haven't even received this "red box" they're mentioning when I fist got the car, and they automatically assume that I lost it? If the contract says that they don't owe me nothing then they don't owe me nothing? I'm not saying that all customers are right, they could be wrong too, I get it, but if you have a customer complaining about something that they never received, nor didn't even had a clue about this red box, at least you can try to do some research and figure out what happened, instead of telling me why I came so late to mention... this is real classy move. At least you can contact your sales rep and ask him if he know something , or tell me to wait or do fking something about this matter instead of making me look like an idiot. I completed my FIFTH purchase/lease from this dealership, this time for a $100k+ car. This time, they tried to increase my monthly lease payments by $45 at the last minute, and they charged me for the mats and the AudiCare, both of which were included on my prior leases. I negotiated them down somewhat, but still ended up paying ~$2k more than expected from this last minute bait and switch. Now I get a message saying that my over-miles penalty was incorrect and should be $0.10 per mile higher. ON OUR ALREADY SIGNED CONTRACT. Do not buy any extended warranty from this dealer. They say you are buying a warranty from Audi, but don't tell you it's a 3rd party. I cancelled my warranty 3 years into my 6 year loan, traded in my car. They tell me the CONTRACT was pro rated daily from day one. So they gave me half the money and a cancellation fee. Nowhere in my signed contract does it say it's prorated. Oh yeah, cause the dealer only gave me 2 out of 19 ,yes 19 pages of the contract. Stopped by on a Wed to check out an Audi I saw on Cars.com. I was greeted by a salesman by the name of John Herencia. That went smooth but i had to bring in my trade and my wife since it was for her. On Thursday it was Johns day off and we met with another sales person. I think her name was Merv? From the beginning, I knew this wasnt going to end well. She started to up sell the car by all the options it had and how much it was brand new. Its the most gully loaded A4 shes ever seen. My wife brings in the trade and I know its upside down in equity. We received no credit app, no break down of what made the monthly payment. She just asked how much cash we were giving and BANG, heres your payment. We didnt agree that it was a fair deal. She said if you got 4000, then itll match what we want to pay. Really? We walked away and waited to call the original guy I spoke to. Doesnt return messages and once i did find him, he said he'd call me back in an hour. No call back received. Either way, Audi is supposed to be a step into the luxury car world. I bought a used Audi 5 cabriolet from this dealership with little hassle. A month or so after purchase, I noticed that something had got caught in the plastic under mount, After several attempts to make a service appointment, I finally reached someone and made the appointment for the under mount to be replaced with a discount. I show up and they don't have the part. Said it wasn't urgent and I should come back for my regular service at 20,000. Am now at 20,000 miles plus and have been calling them for weeks trying to set up an appointment and to ensure that they actually have the part. No response. Terrible, terrible service! Fluffed google reviews. received a card for complimentary wiper blades and multi point inspection. I dropped off my car at 8:30AM. First I told the service advisor Chris that my coolant needs to be topped off which I was told before by service they do that during inspection. He says it's $180 to diagnose that problem and I told him well I don't need it be diagnosed the car already detects it needs to be filled. So going back and forth he said okay I'll call you before doing anything if they think more needs to be done. I asked around what time I can get a call and he said around 12pm. I finally called the dealership at 2:22pm and they are just getting to my car. Maybe they don't prioritize customers who use their dealership coupons. Anyway, he gives me a rundown on the phone after calling me back and said the coolant flush is $229. I told him I have also this $50 coupon from your dealership on service and he asked me to email it to him. I said ok I'll email it first and if I can use it, I'll go ahead with the service. Before I even finished emailing it, he says it's okay we'll make that $50 off work somehow. When I got there, he tells me looking at the coupon more, coupon cannot be applied with other offers. And he tries to tell me that getting the wiper blades for free cost more than the $50 off which is $70 (even though I've been there years ago and got wiper blades for free without a coupon). So I remind Chris Torres well you told me on the phone you'd make the $50 off work somehow and now you're going back on your word. He then tells me I should have done "my due diligence" to make sure there are no exceptions to the coupon. I was doing exactly that which was emailing a picture of the coupon and even told him I could have just done that service another day and used the coupon if you told me. I can't believe he will go back on his word over $50. Maybe the dealership thinks they are too fancy so don't give out or mail anymore coupons.
