We confirmed the pricing and the financing, which included the first year of free car washes at their Sutton City location, which isn't too far for me to drive - although they can get very busy on the weekend (reminds me I should probably go today) For car servicing, the repairs needed were done quite quickly, and mostly covered under Hyundai's warranty which was great. It's a comfortable place to relax for an hour or so while they repaid or inspect your far, the facilities have a self service espresso machine, and lounged to read the paper. Once the car was returned fixed, I was surprised to see they had also washed it and vacuumed inside out of courtesy, which was great customer service. I've heard some horror stories from mechanics and car salesmen, but fortunately, I haven't personally experienced this as of yet with Suttons - I have with other places though.

Second and third time still not resolved after replacing faulty ones that were put on. Fourth time looks like it's okay for now. Each time, my Petrol Guage also seems to show different petrol amounts post visit... Obviously I can't prove anything, but despite that I most certainly won't be coming back to this service centre.

I've enjoyed outstanding customer service from this business for the past 25 years. I have always been thoroughly impressed by the attentive and professional service I've received. The after-sales experience with scheduled servicing is also an impressive reason that has secured my loyalty. Thank you to Sales Consultant Aaron Brein for making our new purchase a truly seamless and enjoyable experience. He was consistently available to address any questions with insightful, knowledgeable responses. We are now the proud owners of a sleek new CX 5! I have no hesitation in recommending the Alexandria Mazda team!

Following years, the servicing was good. Not convenient location, but they did the train tickets to the city and didn't charge exorbitant amounts. Then they moved and it got even less convenient. Had to start paying for a loan car so I could get to work. A few weeks ago, I had a real issue with the car. I live even further away now so went to another dealer to get some help. They needed a part number and suggested I contact John Newell for this. I emailed, and not a peek. Followed up a few days later - now 2 weeks on and still, not a whisper from them. Had to get it fixed and it cost significantly more as they spent a lot of additional time researching and investigating. Maybe they are miffed I have been to another dealer, but driving so far to get to them is just not possible any more. Left a very sour taste after what had been a pretty good and mutually beneficial 10 year relationship. This year we are buying a new car and would have considered asking them to source it and do a deal (even if we have to get it serviced elsewhere) - won't be putting myself out to do that now

STAY AWAY FROM this Mickael Eldourgam used cars sale-man of Sutton Subaru Rosebery NSW Australia…read more He is a FLAT OUT DISHONEST GUY! I found a CarSales' ad of pre-owned 2013 Honda CR-V DTi-L Auto diesel for $25,999 from Sutton Subaru Rosebery NSW and went there to inspect on Thursday. During inspection, initially Mickael said he could to drop $500 from advertised price. Later he offered to drop to $24,000 and asked would I take it. I said: if the price is $25,000 I will NOT take but $24,000 I said it is good. My wife needs to see it, as we are buying this car for her. Of-course, if she is happy with the car we would buy it. Mickael totally agreed and asked me to bring my wife to see the car. Having discussed the car with my wife, my wife was very happy and we came the next day with "our CHEQUE BOOK hoping to make a final quick check and put down a deposit" for the promised price ($24,000). When we first met Mickael, very quickly there was a technician joined him (the technician appeared to prepare to move some other cars that were blocking the Honda that we wanted to buy). Then Mickael said something to the technician and sent him away. I then asked for a test drive. Mickael said: he could not drop the price. He only allow for a test drive, if I agreed to pay $25,500 for the car. HOW RIDICULTLLY- I said and asked him " IS THIS THE WAY HE TREATS HIS CUSTOMERS?" He said he had to make money, there were NOT MANY STOCKS at the moment and he can't drop $2000 from the advertised price. If he CAN NOT keep his promise, DO NOT ASK OTHER TO COME! For a happy car purchase - STAY AWAY FROM this MICKAEL ELDOURGAM sale guy, buy from someone else honest. I would put zero star, if I could!

We look after our car and our first service went well but we had a problem with a mirror which took months for them to replace. The driver's side mirror groaned loudly when it was being moved and it took several complaints to have it fixed under the new car warranty. Before the second service we had further problems. The vehicle had several episodes where it simply decided to slip into neutral whilst in drive and when this happened on a slight uphill street, we narrowly missed having a major accident. The first time we alerted Suttons about this problem they said the computer showed something but they could not pinpoint the problem. Duh. It was as though they thought we were idiots and had no idea what we were talking about. A car slips out of gear for no good reason... gee.. what could it be?? They supposedly found the problem another six months later because the computer now showed it. Now they finally believed us that the vehicle had a problem. We were so upset and angry that it had taken a further episode for Suttons to address this issue that we demanded a loan car until the issue was fixed. So they fixed the gearbox and the mechanic asked to keep our vehicle overnight so he could test it to make sure it was ok. We agreed to this. Well it seems this Service Department's specialty is returning your car with new "features" it never had prior to their meddling with the vehicle. The second service they neglected to replace a part correctly and to turn off the service reminder. The vehicle kept chiming to alert us to an oil change that had just been done and sounded like a V8 on steroids. When I mentioned my concerns to the Service Department Manager about the lack of care taken on the second service his view was that they were simply having a bad day at the workshop. I replied that what if it had been something more serious like a missing screw or bolt. His reply was: that is why doctors leave surgical instruments in patients during surgery! Honestly, with a mindset like that, there is no hope of the customer being central to this business. Very sad for such a major motor vehicle group.

(please note that as far as I know the sales rep & sales manager involved are still working for SCT.) The purchase process was fine. the rep was very helpful and accommodating. Like some car salesmen, he just said what he needed to, to get the sale, but clearly didn't intend on acting on any of his promises. It wasn't till after i bought the car that I realised that a lot of the stuff we agreed to in person were not included in the contract and the rep refused to honor the verbal agreement. then denied making any promises. My fault, I admit, for not checking the contract in more detail, but as there were nearly a dozen or so forms to fill, I was relying on the rep's integrity to stick to all that we discussed & agreed to. The transfer of ownership took months to be actioned (it was one of the conditions I had, that they do the paperwork required) even though I included the cost of transfer in the negotiated price. The renewal of the registration, again agreed to be paid by the dealer (was expiring within 2 weeks of the purchase) was also not done. and they refused to do it after the purchase. I had explained to the sales guy that it was my first car purchase in Australia, coming from overseas, and that I was happy to pay for whatever was needed, but that I didn't want to do the paperwork myself as I had been warned by friends that it is tedious and complicated (if you have ever dealt with the RTA, you will know what I mean). he agreed and there were a number of additions to the cost of the car as a result. Additions included warranties, transfer, rego renewal and a couple of other minor additions to the car itself. I never needed the warranty so I'm not sure how it would have gone if I did, but the other requirement were not met. Many complaints later, the rep denied everything and the sales manager's response was "it's your word against the sales rep, I choose to believe the sales rep" even though there was evidence to the contrary. Beware of this dealer, and if you do buy from them, make sure anything they say gets included in the purchase agreement. Personally I would never go there again.
