Pros - The sales person was very nice, allowed me to test drive both vehicles as much as I wanted, and was never pushy, during or after my visit. Cons - I had asked about both new and pre-owned vehicles and it felt like I was pushed into the new ones. Even asking about the pre-owned ones got me...looks. New Audi owner after being a long time BMW owner. I love my Audi Q5, however the reason I was a long time BMW owner (5 prior BMW's) is because the service that BMW offers is top notch! I expressed my concerns with service to the dealership i purchased my Audi from, and was assured that Audi was just as great. Fast forward to today, I called Audi of Bethesda for service because I have a dashboard light indicating that something is not properly functioning. Additionally, apparently there is a recall on 2022 Q5's for something having to do with the engine. The guy who gathered my information told me that he could get me in on Friday. I then asked about getting a loaner, and was informed that loaners are not available for recalls. First of all... why ‍? I mean I didn't really ask for a recall on my brand new vehicle! Anyway, I then asked if he could provide a loaner car for the other issue. He replied that he could if it were only that issue. However since I have a recall issue, that he couldn't. What? Beginning to regret my decision to leave BMW now. Did not have a positive experience leasing from this dealership, starting with the car not being properly cleaned upon initial pick up and culminating with someone taping a bracket to rectify a faulty license plate holder today. When I attempted to question if that was the best solution, he threw the equipment down and walked away, after citing he's sold $100K+ vehicles with the same problem (rather than taking a moment to walk through what they were doing, which could have completely solved my concerns to start). I told the gentlemen who called that I'm at work and can I ring him back later. He HUNG UP ON ME. Weirdly I had a similar issue when we inquired about a 6 series in Rockville BMW. Anyway, it turns out, after working with about 4 different Audi dealerships around here, and befriending some people at Audi Corporate in NOVA, that these old franchise dealerships have owners that make so much money and have so many cars turning over that they just don't care. So if you do want a good experience and relationship with Audi (I had an amazing dealership in California) then I highly recommend going to the corporate owned Audi in Tysons. I am a recent transplant from Los Angeles to the DC area. I purchased a tire and rim repair warranty for cosmetic damage on my 2016 Audi A7. When I originally called and spoke with Tonny regarding the warranty to fix the cosmetic curb rash on one of the rims, he originally did not want to honor the warranty because he assumed it would not cover cosmetic damage. I had to explain that I purchased this warranty for over $2k and was advised it would be honored at any Audi dealer. Tonny said because they did not sell it to me, they do not have to honor it or if they were to move forward, that I may have a out of pocket cost to me which is not indicated on the contract. They advise because they have someone that does rim repairs on-site, that their rates are much higher than the warranty program that I purchased. I had to ask Tonny if he would call the warranty program to confirm if they would honor their rate. They also did not seem happy about having to provide a loaner vehicle because they are a newer smaller service center. Tonny went as far to advise me because I had a negative experience that I should work with him at looking at buying a vehicle at Mercedes. However, when speaking with Tonny it appears the reason why they did not want to take the vehicle in for repairs is because they were not going to make any money or minimal amount of money on the rim repair. It was about 3 hours on the phone between Tonny and his manager Barbara before they would allow me to repair my rim at their location. They also did not want to do a courtesy car wash because of the drying time for the rim. I advised they that my dealership in LA what repair the rim and have the vehicle back to me in two days and the vehicle had a courtesy car wash. I finally conceded to the courtesy car wash after several phone calls. I am now regretting the courtesy car wash because they scratch the tent on the Driver side window in are refusing to repair it . Tonny went as far as lying in an email that they did not vacuum or clean the interior of the vehicle and would not be liable for the scratch on the tint. When I picked up the vehicle it was very clear that someone wiped down the dash and the door interior where there was water dripping on the inside of the vehicle after the car wash. I had to escalate to Audi corporate and have not heard a response. I did follow up with the manager, Barbara, and she advised they are not repairing the tint. The service center is hard to find. Its down a small alley shared with body shops. It's very difficult to maneuver in the area. It's also very difficult to find this service center as the Audi sign is a flimsy flag typically seen at a backyard used car dealership. When I arrived at the service center there was another customer that was upset and she was also dealing with Tonny. Keep in mind, I advised them our household wad looking to purchase a new car and they still provided lack luster customer service. We picked up a BMW at Silver Springs BMW instead. This location does not represent the perceived image that Audi touts. My dealership in Los Angeles was the best (MCKENNA Audi) it really sucks to be an Audi customer in the DC, Virginia, Maryland area. Customer service does not exist. You DO NOT get what you pay for. Absolutely awful customer service. We drove over 45 min to head to the dealership after scheduling an appointment a week out. We found out once we arrived someone else was driving the car we wanted to test - which was fine, I guess. The person ended up purchasing the vehicle but the sales person did nothing to try to find us an alternative option/ car to test drive. The best option for us was to view a car that hadn't been detailed yet (not in the age of COVID!). Overall, save yourself the hassle. Go to the Audi in Arlington or just elsewhere with more selections and better sales rep who are fluent in customer service and experience. read more

I bought a Mercedes E63 AMG. I was paying by Bank check and asked for the total costs. I took a check in that amount and when the paperwork was done they ended up charging me about $400.00 less that anticipated. I also found that one of the wheels was bent and that there was a creaking noise in the sunroof. My salesman Juan told me that I had a 30 day warranty and they would refund $250.00 towards the wheel repair. They told me that they would send me a check in a week to 10 days. I have emailed and called multiple times and cannot get an answer. I have not received the over $600.00 that they owe me and the 30 days warranty is almost up and they are totally unresponsive. Now, why would an Audi dealer practice that? What a shame. It's a Memorial Day weekend sale... I get it, but just in respect of remembrance of fallen heroes, today, you could have some dignity. Great experience! When I lost my last RS3 due to unfortunate circumstances, Audi Bethesda has given me the hope to renew that passion. I was able to secure an allocation for another RS3. Initially I was a bit oblivious with the previous sales rep but when Jimmy Alegre took over, everything came to light. Although Audi's automated delivery system was not complete as the ones from BMW, but I was informed on a weekly basis of my vehicle and Jimmy were able to answer any questions I had. The staff was very patient and professional. Jimmy also coordinated quality wrappers to have my vehicle wrapped entirely just like how the first one was done. At the end, Armon was able to let me have the car in the showroom and drove out of the dealer gate just like when I did the European delivery with the first one! We recently purchased a used car from Audi Bethesda and had a pleasant experience with this dealership! The dealership has very well maintained facilities with the typical car dealership amenities (coffee, tea, etc). Since this is located in downtown There was free (although limited) parking spaces right in front of the dealership. The car salesperson that we worked with was Ian Shemer, who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the car that we were interested in. Out of the many car dealership salesmen that I have met in the past during the hunt for the perfect used car, Ian definitely stands out with his professionalism and willingness to please his customers. Audi Bethesda was patient with us as we took as much time as we needed to test drive and inspect the car. Like all dealerships, they might not be upfront in disclosing all of the issues that their used cars may have, but when we pointed out one of the problems that we had noticed with the car, they were happy to have their service department fix the issue prior to us taking home the car. After driving the car for a few days, there was a beeping noise that constantly came from the car that was constantly present for a week. Since it was within the 30 day time frame of our warranty, Audi Bethesda was willing to take a look at the issue. However, right before the day of our appointment, the beeping noise disappeared. They suggested bringing the car in anyway to be inspected. However, when we got there, they said there was nothing that they can really do because the beeping noise wasn't present at that time. It was definitely frustrating that they told us to come all the way over there but then say they can't really do anything. Thankfully, we called back and spoke to someone named Saad who said that since there was clearly an issue with the car, we can take the car back anytime that beeping noise came back to have the car fixed under the warranty.
