Well, it really wasn't that. Great I didn't think so. Kind of boring if you asked me not too much that I could get there.

Post Falls Auto Auction gives you two whole days prior to auction day to test drive and check out any car you're thinking about. Put your phone down, get off your ass and pre-check your purchase or possibly hire a mechanic to join you previewing inventory. To give bad reviews to a business like PFAA is messed up. Give zero stars to yourself. You made the mistake. I have purchased several dozen vehicles from this site and resold them for profit, this is the business I'm in.

What fun!…read moreIf I liked a certain car, I did my research with a title search, current local selling prices, accessories included with the car make and model and location of auction, I had airline mileage avail., so I factored that into the equation. I found a car I really liked at "Post Falls Auto Auction" and bid during the auction. I won. I had a week to pickup my car, so I flew to Spokane from Calif.. Took a Lyft to Post Falls (30 min). And then the entire experience got GREAT. I was treated like family, including where to eat and stay. I know buying a car in this way is a risk, but it doesn't scare me and I saved enough money buying the car, that I could factor in repairs, if needed. Plus a wonderful drive back to Ca. - getting to know my new car I named "PAT". A little mini-vacation. Pat and the crew were remarkable and happy. Nothing but raves from me.

After taking back possession of my car, I found that the gear shift was not working properly and my key was stuck in the ignition. I went straight to the finance company who later passed "the buck" down the line, which ended up at Dealers Auto Auction NW. Basically, Cameron, the Fleet Manager, was very helpful to me from the very beginning when I first contacted DAA regarding my car, to the very end. Through Cameron, he and the rest of DAA stood up to the plate and owned my car issues, which I do believe was caused from the tow company/repo company who took my car in the first place. But it was difficult to say which company did the damage to my car when it was in their possession. DAANW took and owned the responsibility of the problem of me not being able to take the key out of the ignition and the shifting of gears, which was difficult to move. Cameron made sure my car was back to the "original" state it was before the repossession and returned my car back to the original state it was when it was taken. Thank you Cameron, your upper management, your team of onsite mechanics, and including the individuals you had go to my home to assess/pick up and return my car. You all have helped me out so much when I needed someone to help me with my car. I would definitely recommend DAANW to any dealership/personal referral that would be looking for a used car. I know I will be calling my new friend, Cameron, for any suggestions/referrals for a newer vehicle in my future. Thank you all for your professionalism and dedication to providing the ultimate customer care, in every sense of the word! Thank you!

No, of course people don't need to wear seat belts, don't know why this was even worth mentioning from another reviewer. No, they don't allow the drivers to talk about the flaws they've seen (I still did), but that makes sense, right? I mean we work for the auction house, not the buyers. Overall it was a positive experience working there and it paid better than minimum wage. I'd buy there if I was in the business.

They also did not know basic information about the vehicle that would have been apparent even to many car novices, so I would surmise they take vehicles straight from auction to sale without any sort of inspection. If you do go to them, buyer beware and do your due diligence. EDIT for clarity re: the owner's response. I did NOT send a third party, that is semantic word smithing to avoid accountability. The person they are calling a "third party" is my husband, who is the primary owner of the vehicle in practice, if not on paper. Calling him a "third party" because we chose to purchase in my name for better financing is laughable. Yes, we were remiss in not getting an independent inspection and that is our lesson to learn. However, our mistakes do not excuse unethical business practices such as lying about where they obtained the vehicle.

Not only did Anthony and Ron help me get into a new and better car with lower miles, BUT they got me nearly the same monthly payments I was already paying. They gave me more on my trade in than I was expecting with some of the things on my car needing tending to (and comparing to the Kelley blue book trade in amount). They were very transparent and non-pressuring. I am absolutely in love with my car and I appreciate all they were able to do to make this happen for me and not turn me upside down or to where I had payments I couldn't afford.
