WARNING!! Some of their employees, as well as their office manager are just a few chromosomes above being window lickers.... Seriously! They currently have my vehicle after my insurance company deemed it a total loss. I didn't agree on everything with my insurance company until just today. But before I did agree, I wanted to grab my license plates, as they are special DISABLED VETERAN plates. It wasn't easy obtaining those, literally, or figuratively. THEN my insurance company could release the vehicle.I had attached them with a Torx security screw. Most tool kits have them, as I've gotten mine at Lowes, The Home Depot, and Harbor Freight, etc.. They literally mangled my plates when they removed them because they said it was a "special screw" they didn't recognized. Seriously? I'm about as handy as Tim the Tool Man Taylor, and I can figure it out.... The holes for the bolts are ripped clean through and are now all twisted up. I'm going to now have to go through the headache of obtaining new plates. To best describe the intellect of the office manager and some of his people, my dear old departed grandmother (from the Deep South) would simply smile and say "Bless their heart, I think they must be a bit touched." One star because you can't go any lower on Yelp. Worst service in Spokane. Was supposed to be contacted regarding the buy back of a car that was totaled by my insurance. Instead they auctioned off the car without ever telling me. I had to call to find out what even happened. When I confronted them over it, they said it's not their company policy to inform me when the auction is or offer a buyback program, that it was my insurance company's fault for not contacting me, and that they only auction off cars to Copart members. When relaying this information to my insurance agent, he said he has never heard of that before and that they should have contacted me. That car had a lot of sentimental value to me, and now it's gone from one company's idiocracy. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else in Washington State, even Idaho or Oregon, before going to Copart. read more

This is a business that is not to be trusted. The fact that insurance companies use them to store vehicles that have been involved in accidents is crazy. I was involved in a minor accident that was no fault of my own, and my insurance company had my vehicle towed to Copart Airway Heights. My insurance company decided my vehicle was a total loss, and while we were negotiating whether I would buy it back or not Copart caused damage to my vehicle by destroying my tailgate. I was not notified, nor was my insurance company notified that they had caused this damage. I bought my vehicle back from the insurance company and when it was delivered to my house, I noticed the damage to the tailgate that wasn't there from the accident. I had photos after the accident to show all the damage to my vehicle. I contacted Copart and the general manager admitted they had caused the damage and asked me to get two quotes which I did. After sending him the information he later came back and said that Copart wasn't gonna pay anything because the insurance company had deemed my vehicle a total loss. I got my vehicle back and now have to pay $2500 to get a new tailgate because they destroyed the one that was on it. It's very apparent that they hoped I would not buy the vehicle back, and then the damage would never be discovered once my vehicle made it to the wrecking yard. Do not trust these guys. read more

Co Part asked for title, I sent it, cost $3.75. Changed title in Olympia, cost $8.75.They said driver would pick up car in 2 days and to park car outside fence so tow truck could get it. I did that. Car got broken into along with my sons truck, His CD Player taken and cassette player in car. Car no longer belonged to me and could not collect on home owners insurance but Dairy land Insurance subtracted $66.31 from check. They even got my phone number wrong, and I corrected both the phone number and address.The truck driver was given a wrong address to pick up car. They gave him an address of Bicycle Lane in Blewit Pass rather than Icicle Road in Leavenworth. He had to turn around and come back. Thank goodness he had a correct phone number for me. read more
