It was so much fun and you truly feel like an artist lol. Instructor JJ was so much fun and loved her vibes! This is a perfect outing for many occasions such as birthday, outing with your friends or coworkers and even going solo ( I went by myself and I didn't feel uncomfortable at all) I tried painting this time but I would love to try hat burning next time! It took the stress right out of trying to paint your pet perfectly. When you sign up you provide a photo of your pet for reference, you will get a pre-sketched canvas at the beginning of class, and you'll learn all about painting pop art from there. I spent over 3 hours painting my piece and it flew by listening to great music and having a fun time! I like that Tipsy Picassos hosts all kinds of paint and sip classes at some really cool spots around town like Borderlands, The Tuxon, Yoga Pod and so many more. I also appreciate how the class types are posted month by month on Instagram so we can easily sign up ahead of time.

They partner with restaurants and bars and have everything set up for the event: canvas, easels, paint, and brushes at each seat. Servers come by to make sure we have enough wine. (Funny how our paintings look more beautiful after imbibing some wine !) This painting event was special; at Tandem American Eatery (excellent food - one of our favorites) and a fundraiser for PACC (a favorite charity). Turnout was great, with eighteen participants, and our instructor was cool, helpful, and funny. This was not my first paint and wine time, and I love that the painters are always friendly with their table mates, which really enhances the enjoyment. A plug for Tandem: My friend and I arrived early for dinner before painting. My wings were as big and tasty as they always are and my friend said her bacon blue cheeseburger burger was as delivious as I told her it would be. The burger comes with the most delicious house-made potato chips. My pal loved them.

The instructor was so adorable and bubbly and she and her assistant were super attentive and walking around making sure each person was keeping up and had their necessary equipment. I definitely want to do it again to paint my pet. My pig was not very good but that's just my bad artistic ability, and those sweet people kept telling me it was cute
