We had our daughter's wedding reception here. The food and bar were excellent. The price was half of every other place we looked at.

I had actually avoided this restaurant due to the numerous bad reviews. I am so sorry I did!…read moreBecause I have had one of the better meals in my area in a long time. And all without having to travel to Worcester! We started off with clam chowder to share. This is usually how we judge a restaurant right off the bat, lol. They didn't disappoint. Definitely needed a little salt and pepper, but that would be to your liking anyway. I had the baked stuffed shrimp and my husband had the prime rib. Amazing. My husband, who is a steak and prime rib snob, commented that the steak was perfectly rare. The au jus was a little sweet and different, but in a good way! He said it was very unique and liked it better than your average. I would definitely, definitely recommend the baked stuffed shrimp. The shrimp were quite large and was perfectly made. They did come out with the wrong sides, which is why the last star is missing. But other than that, service was impeccable and timely, the setting was casual and fun with keno screens lining the wall and the food was your typical American fare. I will definitely be going back for the Alfredo! This may become our date night staple since it's only a couple miles down the road from us and the prices are right compared to Worcester and Boston. Dress is casual. Take care of your server! They work hard!!

Lots of tables and bar area seating and a big parking lot that is always packed!…read more Our food was mediocre. The reuben sandwich was terrible with thick cut corned beef and no flavor with French fries that were just heated up frozen bag kind. My French onion soup was meh - the broth had almost no flavor. The Big Mac flatbread was good but hard to eat. The kids chicken parm stole the show and was huge. The chocolate bomb cake was just ok and the carrot cake was extremely dry. Service was slow even though we came during a slow time and prices are high for normal entrees. Too many better options around... maybe dinner is better but we probably won't be back.

We hosted a party here on Oct 13, 2019. We booked our engagement party on short notice (about 5…read moreweeks before) and Kaitlyn was so easy to work with from the start. We fell in love with her, the house, everything including the murder-by-mail story behind the house from the 1800s. About 2 weeks before the party we called Kaitlyn and told her it was going to turn into our surprise wedding! She continued to be so helpful and excited, giving recommendations for all kinds of vendors we'd need. The day of the party she was professional and hands-on, making sure everything got done on a quick timeline. She calmed nerves and had great suggestions on where things should go to make sure everything flowed just right. Our rental price included some tables and linens she had available, and some glassware too. It was so perfect from the start and we couldn't be happier!!

Beautiful historic building who's tour guides added in a true life murder mystery of the lady of the houses death. This really added to the event as it was so my scene and absolutely fun. They also had a whiskey tasting since she was poisoned with whiskey which is ironically amazing. I would def host an event here because unlike the Newport mansions I could touch things and see things in the midst of being historically preserved since they're still restoring the house. Open Doors RI has found a new regular customer :)

Wicked Good, meaning very good in New England vernacular, is an interesting choice to name a…read morebusiness as this small company offering DJ services is anything but "wicked good." Having recently attended the wedding of two friends, they had the unfortunate bad luck to select this company to play music at their wedding. Things got off to a bad start right from the beginning. The DJ's were late in arriving and therefore missed announcing the wedding party. You can't get this time back. Once this experience is ruined it's ruined. Things never got back on track; in fact, each wedding announcement was either missed or botched. For example: Cutting of the cake: botched; Parents of the bride dance: botched; sisters of the bride dance: botched; throwing of the bouquet: botched; garter ceremony: botched. Everything: botched. The music: The bride to be had specific music requests. She had met with Gino, one of the owners, and made these specific requests in person, as brides to be are wont to do. Everything was agreed to and there was never a question as to whether or not Wicked Good Entertainment could fulfill the bride and groom's requests. Not only did the DJ's not play the songs or specific musical styles requested, they played music that was so far away from their requests, my friends would have had better luck obtaining a cohesive musical mix if they had hired an organ grinder's monkey. This is not to say that Wicked Good Entertainment did everything badly; rather, they were amazingly successful at eating heartily from the buffet; taking frequent and long smoking breaks; and spending a considerable amount of time chatting up the guests while they should have been playing the music as requested. A wedding is not a party. You can't simply schedule another event. A wedding is a once in a lifetime experience. If you care about your experience you will steer clear of this amatuer outfit. Instead, hire a vendor that knows what they are doing and understands the importance of being a vital component of what is supposed to be a magical day. Wicked Good Entertainment is not that vendor. They are not even close.
