It's a clean contemporary space with plenty of indoor seating plus an outdoor area in a wonderful position beneath the cathedral. The cafe is busy from early morning until late afternoon right through the week and while previous review describes the customers as tourists I don't see this as a disadvantage as there is always a great atmosphere inside. The standard of the food offered is above cafe average with a hot plate as well as cold snacks. With regard to prices, I don't think the location is abused, prices are not inexpensive but they are not extortionate. A really nice cafe; quick and pleasant service, and it's not full of "God-botherers" either which was a concern of some prospective customers!

The place is okay in terms of the quality of the food it serves up but it has a poor atmosphere and the aesthetic value is something which far from impressed me. When I dine somewhere even if it is just for a simple fry up I like to feel relaxed and at home as I really believe that it brings something more to the meal. This place just did not provide that and as such I opted for a bacon sarnie to go! The staff weren't great here and this was part of the reason I had no desire to stay and devour my early morning much within the confines of the establishment itself. On the whole decent food, poor atmosphere.
