A few colleagues and I ventured out from our German hotel in Baden-Baden to experience French cuisine and we were not disappointed.
The location is right on the Rhine, but is a little difficult to access as it seems it is across from a ferry. We arrived late on a Thursday night, and we were the only patrons. The staff did not speak English, so we had an amazing time translating our desires.
We ordered a Pizza appetizer to share and authentic French onion soup to start. The soup was piping hot and came with an abundance of sweet onions and bread with cheese. Two colleagues ordered the fish special which was smothered in a French sauce (butter) and veggies. I ordered the veal schnitzel which was an enormous quantity.
For dessert, we had the creme brullet Ave two flambe dishes that were lit on fire and provided an amazing ambiance. read more
