Quaint little restaurant with highly attentive and lovely staff. We had my 7 month old with us at the time and they made sure she had everything she needed, including lots of attention (many of the staff oohed and Ahhed as they went by and made funny faces to make her laugh). Highchair was available and it was clean with straps. A+!!! Food was yummy but maybe a bit overpriced. My mother and I each ordered a lunch Size salad and split the burger trip on the appetiser menu. This was just there perfect amount of food for us, however don't expect much with the burger trio. While quite tasty, each burger was only about 1 bite and very difficult to share. Overall lovely restaurant and atmosphere.

Chocolate mille feuille for 2

We really enjoyed our Valentine's Day dinner here. As Brian C said, we each had the same food - a salad with some ham, a mushroom risotto, and a chocolate millefeuille for two for dessert. As it was a special Valentine's Day menu, it wasn't cheap at £38 per person, and the courses were, to be honest, pretty small - but they were quite rich, the dessert especially, and we didn't leave hungry! The highlight, after the lovely staff, was the beautiful freshly baked bread and butter. I would have loved some more (should have asked!) and next time I come, I'll make sure I do. The salad was a bit plain, but tasty, with the hazelnuts providing a bit of a crunch. The risotto was really nice - very full of truffle and ceps, and creamy. There was a bit of bite but in a good way (I hate undercooked risotto!). And the dessert was almost too beautiful to cut into and could only have been made better by coming with a little pot of creme anglaise, instead of just the little bit that I couldn't get off the slate that was probably just decoration. Tasty, tasty decoration. I hope to return here, or to another branch, and try more things!

Loved this French place. Light interior, terrace outside. Wide open space. Farmers market in front on Sunday. Great breakfast.

Pretentious. Standard. Nothing special unfortunately. There's potential here, but it's untapped so far!

The set menu is sneaky, so here's the PRO-TIP: it's available every day of the week but is something you often have to *ask* for.

I started with the Camembert Frit (Camembert cheese coated in breadcrumbs, fried, and served with redcurrant and raspberry coulis). This was delicious! The cheese paired so well with the raspberry coulis and it was no greasy at all (perfectly fried). For my main course, I got the Steak d'Agneau au Romarin Grilled lamb steak with red wine & rosemary sauce (served with sautéed potatoes). This was delicious as well! The lamb steak was so tender and flavorful and the sauce went so well with it. The potatoes also went very well with the lamb. I have also had their Filets de Cabillaud Rôti (baked cod fillets with sun-dried tomato and cream sauce), served with leek and potato mash. This was excellent! The cod was so fresh and the sauce was to-die-for! I could have licked all of the sauce off of my plate (if it were socially acceptable haha). The sauce was so fresh and paired so well with the fish. The potato mash was also fantastic--perfect texture. For dessert, I had a rhubarb tart. This was delicious! I loved how the tart wasn't too sweet and I could really taste the rhubarb. The service was also excellent. The servers and managers were very attentive and considerate of my husband's allergies. They were super accommodating, which is the reason we came back again! The have a great price for their prixe fixe menu. I would definitely recommend this restaurant! In a nut shell, great service, excellent food, fair prices and great ambience!

The Food: We did the Valentine's set menu, and a fair warning: it creeps up on you! Every course is delicious, but by the time dessert arrived, we were absolutely stuffed. Even if you aren't typically a seafood fan, give it a chance here. The dishes are incredibly approachable, well-balanced, and clearly had a lot of thought put into the flavors. The Vibe & Dress Code: The atmosphere is unmatched, but learn from our mistake! We spent the day exploring Covent Garden and didn't have time to head back and change. You definitely want to dress smart-professional to match the elegance of the restaurant. We felt a little underdressed for the level of experience they provide! Summary: Romantic, delicious, and worth every penny. Just dress up and come hungry!

Given how difficult it was to get a seat, I would have liked to have been seated in the main dining room with the more impressive array of decorations, but my tiny table tucked away in a corner near the entrance wasn't all bad; decorations were still plentiful, and I didn't feel in the way of passing traffic. With the food, you get what you pay for; which may not be as much as you might think given the "poshness" of the place. Without booze, you shouldn't end up paying more than £50pp. The menu has an array of seasonal favorites like Hertfordshire Beef with a red wine jus, roast chicken with leeks and girolle mushrooms, and seasbass with Autumn vegetables. Seasonal desserts are also available and the booze is seemingly never-ending. You can never go wrong with the chicken here, regardless of season, and with a seasoned sommelier always on-hand, rest assured all your wine pairing needs will be met. The beef and venison dishes are also superb, with both light and hearty sides to compliment them perfectly. Dessert can be a hit or miss. I didn't like my first experience here with the Delice, but my second experience was a delicious poached pear with a superb buckwheat ice cream and buckwheat-infused biscuit. I paired mine with the recommended Bordeaux wine to wash down the sweetness, and let me tell you, it was an extra £14 well spent. Overall, this isn't the type of place you visit every week, or even every month, but it's definitely worth planning months in advance to come during the hholiday season. Reservations are a MUST.

I think every American mother/daughter duo was checking this place out for lunch or high tea. Mom and I opted for the lunch experience in the room called "The Glade." 3 courses, for a very reasonable price. Something like 36 pounds if I remember correctly. We did this over the more pricey high tea, but that certainly looked like a good time as well. That dining room was gorgeous. The food was pretty good. Nothing that absolutely blew my socks off, except for the strawberry dessert. Everything was certainly well done, though. I mean, there's a restaurant with 3 Michelin stars upstairs - the food should be good! Would def return with new people that hadn't been before.

Those damn English scones were some of the best I've ever had - clotted cream and jam! Heavenly. Dinner in the Gallery was fun and delish as well. We started with the Korean tofu dumplings + beetroot carpaccio, both were light, perfectly seasoned and lovely starters. Mushroom arancini with carrot ginger coconut broth was well balanced and craveable. Cod brandade was delicious as well but a bit heavy, could only eat half. Pistachio chocolate peanut ganache was the perfect end to a lovely meal. It's a visual spectacle in the best way, and service was lovely as well. I wasn't sure if it could live up to the IG hype but it was fun and delicious!
