We were heading out to Saint-Sauveur for the day from Montreal, and stopped in Rosemère for a bit…read moreof breakfast. OMG! This is possibly the best fruit plate I have had outside of the Caribbean. FOOD I was torn between French Toast and the poached eggs with fruit, called Le Quartz. I settled on this "healthier" option because I didn't want to be weighed down for the day. It was the best decision! This fruit plate was epic! It had (and I'll definitely miss some stuff): fresh fig, field berries, an apricot, half a plum, apples, pears, pomegranate, dragon fruit, prickly pear, kiwi, melons, pineapple, clementine, grapes, mango, and I'm sure other fruit that I've missed. It's served with two poached eggs, cottage cheese and a toasted English muffin. Yum! It was so good, but almost too much food for one person. I ended up sharing some of the fruit with my BF, who didn't get any with his crepe. SERVICE Our server started out a little rocky, but quickly redeemed themself. They seemed a little miffed that I didn't know they would serve my latte with a KitKat stick and chocolate powder on it. I'm allergic to cocoa, so I had to send it back. I was sorry, but also, who does that without asking? They seemed to think I should have expected that. However, once we got over that little hurdle, they seemed to recognize that I wasn't being unreasonable and became rather pleasant and quite personable. I suspect the initial reaction was just a momentary lapse. Customer service can be exhausting, and I don't think they intended to be rude. AMBIANCE It's a typical brunch place in terms of decor and ambiance. It's a little noisy, but not rowdy. It's a little bland, but not industrial. It's not fancy, but better than a truck stop. The food more than made up for the ordinariness of the space.

3.5 stars. The place…read moreis clean and the food is decent. But I consistently get annoyed by the staff. I often go there in the morning with a colleague for a quick cup if the traffic spared us a couple of minutes. But it's like if the concept that someone might have only 15-20 minutes for coffee was a novelty to them. Shortly after we get coffee, we know we must start harassing the staff to get the check and wait again to get the machine. The coffee is good, but boy, the service is lacking. I didn't do a review of this place just because, basing it only on a coffee before work isn't fair. Our plates were ok. Ok size, ok food. My friend got a big onion skin in his potato. The ham was definitely from a real ham and not some pressed cheap meat. But there wasn't much. The potatoes were slightly undercooked. I think what rubbed me the wrong way was that we waited in line (without any line) and got told we missed the early bird special by 2 or 3 minutes. We obviously arrived last minute for it. But, I would have expected to at least get some polite explanations or something. Not a "can't do, the computer says so". Maybe the weekend staff goes smoother.

Decided to try this new breakfast place in Rosemère. There also other location for this business…read more The place is very clean, bright and big. It's not the small breakfast place like Cora. You can also make a reservation. The staff is very friendly. The menu is huge. There's a lot of stuff to eat and there's a lot of unique combinations possible to do. There's also a week diner menu. We were a group of 6 and we tried many thing. Me was the giant, which is 2 eggs, ham, sausage, potatoes, veggies, baked beans, and a choice of one sugars option like pancake. Everything was very good. It's a place I will add in my to return. There's also a chocolate fountain that you can pay to have access with some specific choice of add-ons like fruits. The portion are big. It's not a small 2 eggs and nothing. There's a lot to eat on those platters as you can see with the photos. And the price is the same as any other normal breakfast place. So it's not like they upcharge or something, it's just really good at a good price for a good portion. Nobody was hungry when we left. I saw a Uber eat / doordash delivery so it seems you can deliver the breakfast.
